I’m not a big fan of it either, but it seems like this is the direction the Devs are deciding to take with hulls. It’d be hard to change their minds, so I’m requesting that it’d be at least balanced.

Definitely won't be balanced.

P2W players will be able to complete Gold tier far more often than F2P tankers - so their supply will be significantly greater.

The P2W Onion gets bigger once again as another layer is added.

The game is gonna lose many of the players that don't regularly complete the Challenge, as they will get weaker by comparison.

TX lost many players because the Devs made it very difficult for casual players.  TX folded...

I could predict that already, it’s been a common theme of Tanki’s since a long time.

Will TO be facing a similar fate as TX? Only time will tell.

To my understanding, the Nuclear Energy will be a rare Supply that will instantly charge our ODs, but set a short cooldown. Welp, the end of the game is coming if that’s the case.

The apocalypse was widely predicted when Zero Supply was introduced, then when individual hull OD's were added. Will some ODs are marginally stronger (wasp) and some weaker (hunter), having ODs doesn't mean instant victory. Lord knows I've slaughtered hundreds of GS9999s who rushed in with whatever overdrive they had and activated it seconds prior to their untimely demise.

good idea let's use the new supply once every two weeks xD

Wait! what?
75px-Supply_nuclear_power.png x1 per challenge fully completed???? i don't see any appeal with that system.
Viking stay in the garage.

Bring back the skin container!!!!

This is because it is not like any usual supply, its mechanism, features and use is quite rare so to keep that in mind its quantity is kept very low, think of it as a special item rather than any usual supply in this context.

Please close previous patch notes.

Be patient, it will be done by the admins themselves whenever they feel suitable ^^

I get the rarity thingy after watching the latest v-log. It might be rare but it is too rare to be of use. I can be better at catching the energy drop, which will be more available.

so I don't see its appeal as last reward for challenges, it's not going to make me finish the challenge. Hazel is right, challenge are cheap in reward nowdays.

Tesla:

  • Decreased chain lightning damage from 490-980 to 405-810 (hp);

  • Decreased ball lightning damage from 980-1960 to 810-1620 (hp).

Took them a while but at least they did it.

Smoky:

  • Increased default damage from 270-535 to 290-580 (hp);

  • Increased critical damage from 700-800 to 710-850 (hp);

  • The «Rubberized Rounds» augment now increases the number of ricochets to 3 instead of 2.

Smoky needed a buff? That's odd.

Striker:

  • Increased default damage from 435-880 to 450-900;

  • Increased critical damage from 870-1760 to 900-1800;

  • The «Missile launcher «Cyclone» augment» now increases the aiming time by 20% instead of 25%.

Ok a bit too much here? Increased damage and decreased the aiming time penalty to 20%? I would at the most buff Cyclone, not the base damage. Either way, here comes armies of Orkas...

Shaft:

  • The «Healing Emitters» augment does not have recoil and impact force anymore, even in sniping mode.

Um... is that even a necessary change?

  • Viking, Hunter, Crusader, and Dictator — the speed of all medium hulls is now from 7 to 9 m/s.

Interesting...

Wow! I use the identical combo sometimes! Btw, how did you like the change of No-recoil Shaft? Ain't it amazing on Hovering hulls? Now, our hovering hulls do not suffer from recoil after firing a sniper shot!

This change came up with this update - #664. I am glad they did this. Now, healing shaft is different than other shaft augments and unique in more than one ways.

The absence of recoil is surprisingly not subtle. After releasing the shooting button in scope mode, I am used to a slight upward jerk which indicates that I shot successfully (a tank or an object or just nothing). But since Healing Emitters lacks that recoil, you wonder whether you even shot or not! So that's one weird bit.

Unfortunately due to this, you cannot flip tanks by shooting them in mid-air. However, this is very useful when you want to heal your allies when they're in the air and trying to capture a crucial flag - you don't deflect their trajectory or inadvertently end up flipping them.

So it's a good nerf, definitely towards balancing this augment, which was actually default Shaft with healing abilities - there was no reason to use default Shaft if you had Healing Emitters!

My third-favorite update of the year.

Very odd indeed.
The devs are probably just wanting to make it more popular since no one wants to use it anymore because every other turret does critical damage now....and some do it better.

Its way too much. Seems like now, each year, the devs want at least one very powerful turret to reign supreme.

In 2020, it was Gauss

In 2021, its Striker

Just now, FrozenRailgun said:

No, although it does nerf the turret somewhat when attacking enemies, which I do like...

But its the wrong change.

Just now, FrozenRailgun said:

Interesting...

How ironic XD.
(The hulls lost more of their variety now since they all have the same health and speed, so they are less interesting individually, which sucks and it takes out much of the game's old charm in my opinion.)

I disagree. Smoky needed a small buff, since it had no power in a 1v1 encounter and it was often doomed to lose.

Striker, on the other hand, was already overpowered, so this buff was not needed at all.

Minor change that wasn't mentioned in the patch notes: AP Immunity has a new icon.

It looks like this:

When they had time to change the ap immunity icon but was too lazy to change the AP symbol between AP Gauss and AP Magnum since they are litterally the same thing. XD

Smoky is quite a alright at the moment.

So it does not need a buff.

Not a big fan of this augment, you don't need any skill to use it.
