Patch Update #674 - Released 24th December 2021

 

• Added the New Year’s Garage with special music

• Updated the default appearance of the Freeze turret with the HD version

• Added a new augment for Freeze: «Jamming Mix» — when dealing damage to an enemy, a Jammer effect is applied to his tank for 1 second

  • The Jammer effect of this augment is applied together with the Freezing effect.

• Updated the «High-pressure pump» augment for Freeze:

  • The augment now increases both the maximum and minimum range of damage by 50%.

  • Increased cost of the augment to 245,000 crystals

• Added the Old New Year map to PRO-Battles

• Added a winter version of the Sandbox Remastered map to PRO-Battles

• Changed the descriptions of drones in the Garage

  • Fixed descriptions for the functions of each drone

  • Added more detailed information about the drone's effect on supply reloading and consumption of additional supplies and about how upgrades affect a drone

• The description for the «Brutus» drone even emphasizes that it does NOT use batteries.

That's it then, Thunder ends 2021 in quite the sorry state. What a shame for what was once one of the most powerful turrets, such that it faced walls of protections, and unfortunately still does despite being utter trash.

Of course. Of course they did. Why? Just, why? Can you please, please, please come up with something original next time?

And still no Paladin nerf. Well, that's weird.

Okay, now that I've gone on about the bad stuff, Freeze HD is very much welcome. And thank you for changing descriptions. It makes life a lot easier. And I really wanna see a Winter Sandbox Remastered. Should be cool! (Pun intended.)

Pretty good Patch Notes overall, just marred by that new "augment."

Every drone description is accurate except the Assault drone. It does not consume speed boosts in any way.

Reality is that these devs listen to their players less often than they should if at all.

Trust me, I myself used to be optimistic too. And then reality hit me in the face. Now I don't even give them any feedback when the update is bad.  Personally, I don't think they're worthy of any feedback for the time being. Not like they listen to any of it anyway.

The majority of today's players already know of this reality that I'm speaking of.

My advice to you is to not have such lofty expectations for them. Keep them small, then you would constantly be tasting the bitter taste of disappointment.

First: for a game to develop well, you need comments from the players, if not, how will they know what is wrong and what is right? Second, it is true that before the developers, they probably weren't that close to us, but now? have you seen the vlogs? the questions and answers? the new interface? What are they doing according to our comments? The balance in a game can NEVER favor everyone, since not everyone has the same tastes. So if you prefer that they listen to you, you can ask them questions in Questions to the developers and in the vlogs they will answer you. So please, I ask that, instead of giving the players bad hopes, we cheer them on. Because the truth is that very good things are coming

Is twins damage nerfed by 3 at mk7+? It used to be 208 few days back now it's 205.

A Twins would deal 208 damage to a player that has a 19/20 drone.

Did AP Freeze get nerfed or something? It barely does any damage even if I'm not using AP immunity for my hull

Other than that I don't see any reason why AP Freeze would deal less damage as it wasn't altered recently.

The thing is, I don't have AP immunity for viking, and whenever I used viking in the past against players with AP freeze I'd always get killed in like 2 seconds. Now it takes like 5-6 seconds to kill me - very weird.
