Container rarity is the rarity in which you receive the paint upon opening a container. The garage rarity is the rarity in which the paint will appear in the garage (For example, when the paint "Ducks" was added to ultra containers, it was an exotic paint. If you got the paint, it would appear in the list of your legendary paints in the garage).

7 containers today, 6 1k 1 armor. 

So far I'm not liking the change, I ranked up earlier, instead of getting 33k I got 1k crystal from a container.

 

Many players In chat seem very disgruntled by it as well, it was a big slap in the face for players.

I'm finding it very hard to believe the Legendary chance is double what it used to be. I'm more than 500 containers in and only 1 Legendary. I'm sure if it were the previous containers, I would have had more than 5 Legendaries by now.

Been a player since 2012 when tanki was actually fun to play. Absolutely terrible update x15 containers got me 15,000 crystals this is insane. Developers are making fun of us. Some of you have spent 100s of hours of your time playing this game and now you get this? Players in game telling me this game is not worth playing because developers are slowly destroying it, now i see what they mean. I came back for a month after i had quit around 2016 now im thinking about quitting again this is outrageous you don't deserve the active and loyal palyers.

On the other hand, what would  be useful for this mechanic is an indication of two things: range and spawn protection.

In case of range, I noticed that with turrets like Striker the outline doesn't appear at long range, even though it's still very much possible to deal full damage at that range, despite it being harder to do due to long rocket travel time. For turrets like Shaft, Gauss, Thunder and Smoky it's also possible to deal some damage at long range, even if significantly less than in effective range. Therefore I think that the orange outline should be shown around the enemy tank whenever you're aiming at them and they are outside of the effective range, but you will still deal damage if you hit them.

As for spawn protection, long range turrets currently suffer a lot because the spawn prot is so long that it's often completely impossible to know from a distance if the enemy is protected or not, because you don't even see them spawn (e.g. on Serpuhov they spawn behind a house and drive out into the open while still protected). This is particularly bad for high damage weapons like Shaft snipe, Gauss salvo, and especially Crusader OD. Even in close range it's often hard to see exactly when the flashing spawn protection icon disappears, so you end up wasting shots because you fired 0.1 sec too early. In order to solve this, the enemy tank should have a white outline whenever you aim at them while they're protected.

I agree on the last part. I sometimes see a teammate (shaft) shoot an enemy with spawn protection by accident. 

 

My feedback for now:

  • The red outline (ready to shoot) shows to late for me. It should turn red a little faster. Hammer is perfect to test this: If you hold down space bar or click at perfect timing there is no red outlining between the shots. Idk if its a good or bad update I think good. I dont think its a very big change so why not. The update works really well for shaft (close range shots) You can finnaly see when your gun is ready to shoot. So good for shaft.

 

  • Freeze and firebird are still doing good in battle. So the nerf does not hit that hard for freeze. But still I think freeze is way stronger then firebird exept for the afterburn.
  • I think freezing effect is to small on freeze without augment
  • Don't like that the critical damage is removed from the -shock freeze- augment. I really like this augment for skills. If I use it on hornet the Overdrive becomes less effective ( no critical damge) this is also the case with the -vampire isida- augment. I think its better to nerf something else in the augment, but not the critcal damage (for hornet's overdrive).
  • I think tesla is still to OP (can't tell to mutch about it, I dont use it myself)

About containers:

  • There was a time were containers did not exist and also daily/weekly missions etc did not exist. So looking at that point anything is better then before. But this is not really the case because the story changed. There are alot of augments now and drones which require supplies/containers. The change to get these are higher now so that might be a good thing
  • I have to admit the previous containers were a little to OP.  I didnt have to buy supplies because I earned enough from the containers etc. This is also because I dont use a drone, if I would use one I would run out of suplies very quick. ( This shows drones are somewhat unfair for f2p users ; If a f2-p will use a drone its like having a very big loan with only a small income) In the new system of containers supplies are harder to get. So whats the goal? Less/smarter druggers? (like old times) I think its to late for that in the game. 
  • I think more containers should be rewarded to higher ranks. For the same reason as you would get more crystals for a rank up at higher ranks in the old system.
  • Overall I don't like the new container update but I understand most aspects in the changes. The con is that XTs/exoctic/supplies are removed/harder to get which is not nice.

Also a quick note: I think the critical damage is way to high for some turrets. Critical damage is more like playing on luck than with skill. 

Another note: With the lower supply income from containers, drones will be even harder to use as a f2p user since they consume to many supplies for someone who doesnt buy supplies. So drones will only be availible to supply buyers... I think that is very very bad since not everyone buys that mutch and crystals are also needed for upgrades. It becomes to hard for f2- users with this low supply income (with keeping the drones in mind).

Indeed i've been taking out my free time during the holydays to get the 28k rank up bonus and now i will get a trash container which will most likely drop 1k crystals. i have no words

Though yes it's a good example on how containers have lesser value than it was. But for real calculations, this isn't a good proof. Maybe he just have a bad luck this time.

So I will do my accounts to estimate the new value of containers, compared to rank up rewards. Let's start straightfully

Chance for Common is 50%, and it have only 1000 crystal, so 1000*50% = Add 500 crys

For Uncommon, we have to take their summation ➗their number (average) because you will only take one item, so (23000/5)*34% = Add 1,564 crys

* For next tiers it's hard to take average because they're alot and there is no obvious value for paints, so I will take the range of seemingly most/least worthy items and will estimate their price.

For Rare, adrenaline augment cost 245K and there is 10K crystals (least worthy).  So (245000-10000)*10% = Add 23,500 crys

For Epic, I estimate Immunity cost 400K and there's 25K crystals. So (400000-25000)*5% = Add 18,750 crys

For Legendary, I estimate the most OP augment as 400K and there is 100K crystals. So (400000-100000)*1% = Add 3,000

Summation = 47,314

Honestly I was believing that the result will be lesser than 10K, and that what I made my assumptions on. But for my scientific honesty I will publish the result.

Though I still on my previous opinion that new containers have lesser value than 10K, and I believe there is a mistake on my calculations. Like that I took the Range, which is affected strongly by extreme values.

Neither did a lot of things buyers could buy to get a bigger advantage.

Drones, turret augments and hull augments did not exist.  But they do today, and are very expensive to buy and upgrade.  Without the income from containers and rank-ups F2P tankers would have quit long ago as it would be impossible to compete. Might swing that way now as TO looks for more $$$.

Bruh wiki is outdated, that paint just been added to container 2 days ago, its rarity is legendary, there is no exotic prize in the common container pool.

The patch notes said nothing about decreased rewards in containers but this is the case on test server.

I hope the rewards will stay the same. The rewards right now are good for non-buyers and gives some balance to them.

 

A huge reduction in crystals and supplies from rewards and in general, is not a nice patch. Also a 0.5 increase in legendary drops is nothing when every other category got flooded with useless junk.

I'm starting to think more about loot boxes chances. but the thing that makes me wonder the most  are  on coinboxes....I'm curious if the rarity chances for regular containers are almost the same as drop rate rarity as coinboxes.....However, they have not given the Coinbox drop rates.

As containers now suck, whats the point in black golds??

As they have a low drop rate but will give you 1k crystals (probably)

Maybe swap regular golds with containers and increase the value of regular golds to like 50k? So goldboxes have value in the game

I dont feel like there are a reason at all to change the Containers as nobody did ever complain about a change on them (removing/changing stuff on it) i think that change was useless and not a need.

AAAAANNNNNND another 1000 crystals, the container box should be renamed to 1000 crystal box or clown box, I'm calling  on the official statistics.

So tanki honestly has reached the end of actually updating the game properly.... I no longer trust the devs anymore since this game has become so pay to win they should hoenstly start making it a pre paided game.

This game has reached upressidented lows in updates and it is quite clear that laziness has is huge contributing factor to it... your token of apology is made worse giving that most of the rewards are absolute garbabge... rest in peices tanki

Great, first you remove skin containers from challenges and now it is impossible for non-buyers to even obtain them.  Tanki, use good judgement and return this game back to a state where everyone enjoyed playing it.

To clarify why I think this update sucks so much

1) Balance. Freeze. Insanely broken crit damage was barely nerfed, and they increased base damage?? WHY! Freeze would be a lot more balanced if they would’ve just nerfed the crit damage.

2) Containers. Shards, Premium, Crystals and Supplies are everyone’s way to progress through the game, with extra battle funds, and supplies to face stronger opponents. Removing premium, and decreasing the amount of Crystals x Supplies we get per Containers does not just affect buyers. It effects everyone! People will no longer get as much Crystals as they would before to upgrade their equipment, thus having more low GS players at high ranks! 
 

3) Speaking of ranks, did I mention that each rank up is just ONE CONTAINER?! WHY TANKI WHY! This is one of my biggest complaints. As a Legend, what the hell does 1 Container do for us? What was once a 40000 Crystal gift is most likely converted to a measly 1000 Crystals. Premium, for game monetization, I get that Premium is a service that people can get from the Shop, but COME ON! Having easier access to premium would encourage players to play more and take advantage of their premium. Do you care about money or players more?! 
 

4) Okay, I will talk about buyers now. Free to plays, this can affect you as well, so don’t mock this and look at it seriously. Ultra Containers. Just what is this? 67% chance of uncommon crap with reduced rewards, 20% rare stuff which are still less than/equal to previous UC uncommon pulls. 10% for Epic nonsense like Drones we may already have, and 2% for the stuff we get in NORMAL containers now. Buyers will obviously not like this, thus you make less money. Free to plays can mock buyers for this, but they also need to realize, it’s more trash for them as well. Coming from experience, I tested my luck on these new UCs and pulled 14 GREENS IN A ROW! Like what?!! And now the last two rarities. Commons and Exotics. As if the new UCs weren’t bad enough. As shown in the VLOG, Commons and Exotics have an equal chance of 0.5% drop rate. Why. WHY. From my pulls, I pulled a Common which means I lost out on one Exotic pull! Why not just REMOVE the Commons from Ultra Containers?! Your so called “double odds” doesn’t mean crap anymore if we are just pulling the same prizes from normal Containers, and we are getting them more often than the amount you give back.

Conclusion. This update is just unbelievable. Like someone else said, Tanki Online is a game where you DON’T want it to be updated. If this is what we have to expect from updates following 2022, I AGREE!

Update rating. 0.5/10, and that’s generous, I wish I could give it a -9.5/10! 
 

The 0.5 was for the slight Paladin nerf.
