this is in my Bydo account and its my second CP battle... 7 / 3 with gear scores in 9000 . no chance to win..

The OD delay is crap.  Basically your OD is next to worthless.  I'll just stick to wasp from now on.

Why are you not using a drone? That's a big reason why you're not doing well.

IDK, dictator and viking seem fine to use, hornet is also kinda ok, I guess it sucks a bit for mammoth, but al in all I wouldn´t say it is that bad.

Right, get brutus 20/20, it´s cheap, doesn´t use batteries or xtra supplies and you´ll have your 1000 in 1 battle instead of 10 :D.

Thats not even the reason, she already said that she uses no drones on purpose and she has all drones maxed and tons of batteries so i dont really know how could she complain about her "low" performances in battles if she dont use her gear at its max potential.

Teams seem poorly balanced.   But that's not unusual with MM these days...

yupe been like this for sometime for my accounts.

was also in a battle which my team was winning but gave up and allowed the other team to win. we had lots of time left.

Brutus is basically a necessity because otherwise your supply power will be greatly limited (don’t remember the exact percentages).

Always use brutus if you are unsure of which drone to use. Not using a fully upgraded brutus (if you already have one) and claiming that you dont do well is just a dumb move. Also try using different turrets, just using rico always would get boring. You have hardly used any of the other turrets and you say you find it hard. Use paladin and freeze or vulcan (the meta combo now) and there are tons of other combos you can use. Pretty sure you have got some legendary augments you can use for the other turrets also.

sir I have been changing my system up so that wont happen. also kind of want to see if something other then Rico will get me more kills ..lol

for Brutus I"m not sure if it is fully upgraded , I have been working on upgrading all  items in my garage now.

Ricochet is versatile you can use it for every situation.  And it's harder than many turrets, so who can master it will definitely master many other turrets.

My point there was not wether rico is versatile or not but just that using the same turret for almost 1k hours would get boring and then the more u lose the more frustrating it gets. I too only used gauss for a long time until i moved to other turrets and have been having more fun than i used to with just gauss.

Yeah same here. I think it's best to have at least 2 main turrets. For me, they're currently Striker and Smoky. However with Striker being weakened by a lot of people having protections against it, I may switch that with Firebird.

Might be best to save up for upgrades on brutus.

I use railgun with incendiary rounds the most nowadays. Puts me in the top 3 almost every battle. Also use twins with sp , isida with adrl , tesla with accl plasma , shaft with adrl and hammer with high capacity here n there. Also my main drone is brutus mainly because my other drones are not yet upgraded enough to be viable in battle.

Overall I think this patch was pretty good, good balance changes to hovering hulls (with a slight buff to Hopper, although you could argue the overdrive activation delay is a nerf overall since it hits light hulls the hardest), and after the massive economic nerfs recently giving free players some almost free supplies and one container in the Shop Showcase does at least mean we are less likely to totally run out of supplies when using drones - although we still get far too few batteries.

The hull overdrive activation delay, I'm not sure what to think of it. Overall I don't think it makes that much difference - probably an OK/good change, but I am not quite sure. Will take more time testing it to tell.

However there are 2 things I dislike. First of all the developers have removed crystal kits, yet kept the kits for tankoins (they removed the special offers on tankoin kits, but did keep them purchasable in the more regular way). It is good that they have added these new daily supplies and extra container, but removing crystal kits temporarily is disappointing - they should have added an extra level to the Shop Showcase so that crystal kits were kept. They could still offer reduced price tankoin kits there (or even take up one slot for some batteries - even 15 daily perhaps? Because the battery shortage now is very bad).

But there is one change in this patch that I think is awful, and should be reversed:

This is really bad. Containers (and ultra containers) for low ranked players have now been reduced in value DRAMATICALLY, since augments are now the main things of value from containers/ultra containers.

Most players do not check patch notes and will not know about it, and players could end up getting scammed because of this. Just imagine a player bought one of the very expensive 20,000 tankoin bundles with 300 ultra containers on a new account - and opened them all and received NO augments, not knowing about this change. Once they found out, they would be furious - and rightly so. There are NO warnings about this in-game, that container contents are dramatically lower in value since this patch, until you reach warrant officer 1. Developers should restrict players from using the shop before Warrant Officer 1 OR put large and clear warnings in-game - but you wouldn't do that right? Of course not, so the only good solution is to remove this ridiculous change for lower ranked players.

I will give the developers the benefit of the doubt, that they did this to somehow make things "fairer" in the lower ranks, so that players would not have to go up against some other players with augments straight away. Or perhaps, to add some kind of "progression" system, so that you unlock augments once you reach warrant officer 1.

But first of all,  if the goal was so that players would not start facing augments from the beginning - it fails to achieve this. Rank spreads in matchmaking are very wide, and low ranked players will be facing players of warrant officer 1 and above very early on - however now they won't even have a chance at getting augments to compete.

Now the container rewards for low ranked players will be awful, and as I say it will be highly unfair if players who don't know about this spend real money on the game, and then get totally scammed without knowing the containers they are getting have much lower value. @Opex-Rah @Marcus This change needs to be reversed, asap.

@DestrotankAI9 Another patch, another silent change to the damage coefficients of Railguns with Viking's Overdrive.

What do we have this week? 

 

Scout: x2.5 ----> x4.2

Round Destabilisation: x0.88 normal damage, x1 critical damage ----> x5 normal damage, x1.98 critical damage

 

Haven't noticed any changes for the others so far.

Interesting, had no idea about that. Very glad to see some much - needed buffs for the Garage Railgun augments (even if only with Viking), as they have been rather trash lately. I used to equip both augments regularly, but in the last few weeks I only used them for about 30 minutes each to see just how painfully bad they were.

The fact that Round Destabilisation is now viable with Viking overdrive is solid. Both augments are still not in a great place however, IMO.

Another change was AP Railgun going back to 17 shots instead of the usual 13.

Then use brutus and if it's maxed, it'll be much easier to win for you. +50% BD and BA means a lot.
