not everyone. I'm not a fan of them . I only use them when I'm force to use them to get a better score. over all I have no use for them seeing I have been here since 2013 and have enough supplies and items . I'm in no rush to get to level 100 ranking

It’s not about ranking. You need a 20/20 drone for your Boosted Damage and Boosted Armour to be at their full strengths. 

This was the update which changed all that. I suggest you have a read to understand the importance of it, since you were complaining a few days ago about your tank being weak in battles.

Fair enough, then continue to get beat up in battle, your account, you decide what's best for you. By the looks of your garage, not rushing to get to legend 100 has not really worked out for you so far.

You have already ranked far to quickly (beyond your capacity to improve at each rank, which is a must) and whether you use "real" drones or "brutus", in todays TO, unless you improve your garage are at least have 2 fully maxed out combos, (including drones of your choice) which at your rank you should have obtained by now, you will continue to have mediocre battles in regards to were you finish at the end of them.

TO does not cater to anyone who can't keep up (using cash to do so) so if you are a F2P, or a light infrequent buyer, the smart approach is to play on a noob account and upgrade your main whenever you can. This of course takes patience AND A LOT OF IT, which by judging on the amount of high ranked players and legends that have a unbelievably low G/S most players do not possess. In battle your playing style also has a big effect on how well you do (depending on garage strength, team your in and skill level.) Are you a camper, a support player, or a all out attacking player. All these factors contribute to how well or how badly you personally do in battle. 

Your account, you decide how best to manage it, but the advice you have been giving by some players that i consider intelligent, switched on should not be ignored, rather it should be acted on if you really want to improve your performance in battle.

I completely agree, however I just want to point out that a lot of players are ranking so fast because of the ridiculous XP gain that has been around for a while.

The crystal gain to XP gain ratio is seriously out of balance, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s on purpose so that players are more likely to spend money.

Guys I understand what your saying, But your not really looking on my original account which is 24-carrot ( bydolord) which does have 1 - M20 drone and the rest are at levels 11 or higher . I do update them every chance I get.

for Bydo account yea it is a noob account , but have been working on getting my upgrades done as fast as I can.

I'm trying not to buy due to the new changes to the containers and premium passes . there not worthy to buy now. I figure by Christmas 2022 I should have at less 50% upgraded or more.

where it comes to drone usage I find I would rather battle normal days without them seeing I can get my battles in good placing. it was mainly this week with the Chinese event which made it harder for me to get top placement. all the rest was done within 4 to 6 days . I also understood from a player ( who might have given me the wrong info) that if you use drones it effects your XP and uses up a lot of your drugs .

by the time I do have Brutus upgraded , it would be the time Tanki changes it .

True When I saw Brutus's upgrade cost after that update I just upgraded it to max without a second thought and It was not even at sale. I was worried that by the time sale comes around Tanki would have changed that, cant be too careful in Tanki these days.

Having a drone does not affect your xp. Brutus is cheap drone 100k crystals, that means it has the shortest waiting time, in less that 2 week you can max it without speed ups, if your Brutus is 0/20. Now, dont complain about lame performance if you dont use drones, you already said you have a 20/20 drones and tons of supplies, why dont you use it? Do you know why drone count for 2k points in the gear ranking system? They are fundamental. It is like i said " hey guys, i am using mk1 equipment at legend rank, my performance are lame, tanki is crap"

As others have said, definitely get Brutus to 20/20 and use it, if you are not sure what drone to use.

In 2022, not using a drone in Tanki is not an option (at least not at Legend). It is literally like choosing not to use modules.

The 2022 version of "not using a drone", is to use Brutus, and "using a drone", is to use any drone other than Brutus.

There is no penalty to using Brutus, it consumes no batteries and no additional supplies, and it is also fast and cheap to upgrade. If you don't use Brutus at Legend (or another drone in its place), you are putting yourself at a giant disadvantage, since it will make your supplies very weak. As I say, to use no drone is literally like not equipping modules.

You said that someone told you that drones use many extra supplies - that is true, with some of the drones. But not true with Brutus, which uses none at all. Zero.

So NEVER go into battle without a drone from now on - at least equip Brutus, and start upgrading it to 20/20. Then, see how much easier that makes it to win. Or if you have another drone at 20/20, you could use that instead if you have enough supplies. But AT LEAST, use Brutus. No drone is not an option, remember.

Part of why the person cant do well is because their main turret on all 3 account is Rico. Now Rico aint that bad , people hardly use prot against it now but it kind of falls short in terms of other turrets.

Kind of odd to have same main turret on 3 diff accounts.

What's the point of having different accounts if you don't change it up.  Main a different combo on each account for better experience and less repetition.

Ricochet is a good turret to play with if you understand its mechanics. Best augments I would suggest for it are Adrenaline and Rico AP, because the latter doesn't depend on prots and takes skill and tactics to handle.

Adrenaline; now that freeze affect completely kills it, becomes subpar for use in most games.

Minus field is most players favs, along with plasmatorch, rico AP is a bit harder to utilize and may not yield better results in many maps

Well I use Cold Immunity on my hulls since then, so it's not so much of a problem (NoT that I don't have any other Immunity )

As for Rico AP, I agree with the point and for a change support that fact, it's not like any other Overpowered augments that you just shoot and take kills, takes time to get the gist of it, and that makes it more rewarding and fun. In maps with more buildings, containers,  and objects to ricochet off, it's super efficient.

I don't understand why moderators believe that Heat Immunity and Cold Immunity are in the same tier of Stun, EMP, AP Immunities.  And strongly believe and may attack you for that new Brutus is doing very well in battles..!!

Minus-field is the best for rico imo; The problem with AP rico is that you just can't ricochet your shots most of the times - either you're fighting an enemy head on the map barely has any flat walls.

Okay, so you didn't understand my joke. My main hull is viking, and the only useful Immunity I have for that hull is Viking Cold Immunity.

Jokes apart, I was forced to use that Immunity back then, but after the freeze update, Cold Immunity is so much useful now, almost at the same rarity of EMP or AP because the freeze effect is now a powerful effect disabling your damage boost, and not just freeze can apply this effect alone, many new augments are now capable of doing so making it very dangerous.
