yea i also think its more friends joining battles and when there on the wrong teams , then they ask for others to leave so they might be able to join together.

will try it out today on 24-carrot account. I finally got the other 2 completed and only need to be on winning teams for the next few days. carrot still has 2 missions left to day. been trying out Brutus today and still the battles have not changed for me . still on loosing teams

these two were just sitting there and gave up..

What's the upgrade level of brutus? 

Also, I recommend you to try out a mode like CTF or RGB, where you can carry quite easily even if your team is not so good.

its at 11 out of 20.

I finally finished the top 3 placement for the Chinese new year . it took me just over 2 hours to finally get a battle which my rank/ gear score   was higher then the other team. the CTF took me 5 days to complete, Rugby was a little bit easier . I find that Siege is way better mainly if you have to do missions

Upgrade it to 20/20 in the nearest sale, it´s not worth waiting.

Brutus is so cheap you don't even need sales to upgrade.

And the way they are (not) dishing out batteries many of us will be using Brutus.

It's ridiculous how rare the batteries are in containers.  But hey - I keep getting plenty of paints ?

I would solely focus on maxing out Brutus first.

thanks but I will wait on sales. I think this will all fly by after the Chinese event is over. most players are not into drones.

yupe it is easy to upgrade . for me I find more drugs and crystals coming my way. which I would rather have paints .

yupe it is easy to upgrade . for me I find more drugs and crystals coming my way. which I would rather have paints .

lmao, someone have not upgraded brutus until now? it should be done in first priority to restore x2 damage/armore

Trooper might be more effective - but - it uses up batteries.

Not sure about you but my stockpile keeps getting smaller and there's no relief from containers - I don't think are are ANY batteries in containers.

Best you upgrade Brutus as well - unless you have 1000+ batteries.  They deplete quickly when you use drone regularly.

...because I go out into battle and use them. The Devs don't like to give numbers and for some reason also like to omit changes that influence performance in a battle. 

 

The damage and reload coefficients for Viking's Overdrive were mostly the same for everything in their respective category. Because it was the same, some augments would benefit more from the Overdrive than others. Some augments that were underperforming with the Overdrive were buffed last year in their own ways.

For example, Autocannon's damage coefficient went from the usual x2.5 to x5.5. The shots with normal damage still mostly tickled enemies, but the critical hits slammed you like a truck. Blunderbuss, which previously had the usual x2.5 damage was reduced to x0.5 before it came to the Battle Pass. Meaning if you activate the Overdrive without Boosted Damage, your damsge per shot during the Overdrive would be halved instead of increased. 

 

As for Round Destabilisation, it was going through its balance changes last year because Stock Railgun was changing in big ways damage-wise. After the last change RDS received, its damage coefficient dropped from x2.5 to x1 (accurate numbers are in the post you quoted) and status Railguns had their reload coefficients buffed for them to shoot more shots which was illogical. Since then I've been using Viking's Overdrive with each Railgun augment to see if there are any unannouced changes (because we know how much the Devs love those) with each update, or at least whenever I notice something different.

It's tedious however, because I have to do this with every Railgun augment with the Overdrive that charges the slowest in the game which was slowed down even further, with an equipment-change cooldown of 8 minutes. And the one drone that's supposed to help me charge my Overdrive quickly was nerfed into the ground.

Speaking of Viking OD damage coefficients, I've always wondered what they were for each turret. For Adrenaline Railgun, I assumed it was like x3, but the Wiki doesn't disclose the Viking OD numbers

Firebird, Freeze, Tesla, Isida, Vulcan -  x5 damage, x6 with DD 

 

Everything else -  x2.5 damage, x3.5 with DD

 

Bonus damage output from Adrenaline is added to the multipler. If you are at half HP with Adrenaline Railgun, you will have +15%. Adding that to Viking's Overdrive's multiplier would give you x2.65 damage and x3.65 with DD. Works the same with Booster, Camper and Crisis, where with Booster you add 0.3 and Crisis/Camper you add 0.6 (assuming they're maxed of course). 

 

Some augments have their own damage coefficients that are different to the Stock turrets, known ones being:

 

  • Support Nanobots -  x6 instead of x5
  • Plasma Torch -  x3.3 instead of x2.5
  • Blunderbuss - x0.5 instead of x2.5
  • Autocannon - x5.5 instead of x2.5 
  • Small Calibre Charging Machine -  x3.125 instead of x2.5 
  • AP Railgun -  x2.2 instead of x2.5 
  • Large Calibre Rounds -  x1.92 instead of x2.5 
  • EA"Scout" Railgun - x4.2 instead of x2.5 
  • Round Destabilisation - x5 normal damage, x1.98 critical damage instead of x2.5 for both

not sure how many would classify as being stocked piled now a days .

but I do have on my 3 main legend accounts over 30k just battery's alone.

So you've not been using them... at all?  Or you bought a bunch?  I never had close to that many - even when I had no drones to use them on.

Guess you can upgrade whichever drone you like if you have that many.  Still good idea to upgrade Brutus every now and then as those 30k will deplete since it appears they only give batteries in the weekly containers.

But whatever you do - get a drone to 20/20 ASAP so your supplies work at full value.

been updating drones every chance I got. main account 24 carrot only has 3 items left to do now / Paints , Drones up grades , augments //. for the other 2 accounts I plan on having those done later this year. and yea I have been collecting drugs for sometime seeing I received them mainly from free containers / premium pass or contests and other things. are ya sure is 30k batteries though?

We always get a lot less of those than everything else.   I might have 40k mines, but not even 1/10 of that in batteries.  No idea how you accumulated 30k batteries, even if hardly ever using them...

Or did you get a large batch when the paint-to-module conversion happened?  The compensation for having multiple protections...

Both of those maps are short cliffs. Having Heavyweight Construction or not mostly doesn't matter there if you're going off of it at full speed. Try it on maps with higher cliffs.

I will, but I can’t pick the maps i wanted from MM. you should try it too! ;)

but I use trickster with it tho so idk if that helped

Yes I've tried Heavyweight on the hover hulls, and yes, it is Trickster that it keeping you stable. Hover hulls with Trickster stay up in the air longer than without.
