Patch Update #679 - Released 18th February 2022

 

  • A new augment for Firebird added to the Ultra Containers — «Jamming mix».

    • [Note] It always applies the «Jammer» status effect when you deal damage but heating is decreased.

  • Interface update:

    • New game lobby interface;

    • New Garage interface;

    • Minor interface updates for other screens.

  • Tesla:

    • Chain lightning reload decreased from 1.00 to 0.90 s.

    • [Note] The previous reduction of the rate of fire happened together with the reduction of ball lightning damage. It turned out that the reduction of the rate of fire wasn’t needed.

  • Smoky:

    • Projectile speed increased from 250 to 350 m/sec.

    • [Note] Misses at short range when aiming at an enemy wasn't planned as a side effect of slowing down the speed of projectiles.

  • Striker:

    • Min projectile speed decreased from 15-20 to 10-20 m/sec;

    • Max rocket speed increased from 300 to 350 m/sec;

    • Time to reach max rocket speed decreased from 2.0 to 1.5 s.

      • «Remote rocket explosives» augment — no longer affects max rocket speed.

  • Thunder:

    • Projectile speed increased from 300 to 350 m/sec.

    • [Note] Now the max projectile speed for all medium-range turrets is the same.

  • Hornet:

    • Overdrive charge duration increased from 180 to 210 seconds.

  • Dictator:

    • The «Supercharge» status effect duration increased from 7 to 9 seconds.

    • [Note] Supercharge means guaranteed critical damage.

  • Ares:

    • Damage/Healing radius increased from 10 to 12 m.

  • Repair kit:

    • Activating a repair kit completely removes heat and freeze, instead of doing it partially.

    • [Note] We will see how this update will affect the gameplay and will consider an option to add immunity to other status effects when you activate a repair kit.

  • Equipment change cooldown increased from 9 to 10 minutes. 

    • (Note) You are right, we keep increasing the cooldown intentionally. Ask us why and we will answer in the V-LOG.

  • Fixed anti-flood system’s behavior so it won’t be breaking links with uppercase letters

  • Fixed the bug when you use overdrive before becoming a Juggernaut. After becoming a normal tank again, the energy bar worked wrong until your tank is destroyed or until you use overdrive again.

  • Fixed the bug with flickering texts when going from any section to the modules section of the Garage

  • Fixed the browser’s «Back» button behavior.

  • Now you see large previews of drones when you get them from containers.

Equipment change cooldown should not effect immunities when you change a hull. what i mean is for example i had hornet with AP immunity i changed into dictator EMP but i forgot to change dictators immunity to AP now i have to wait 10 mins just to change immunity. ofc after i change immunity like that it gets that 10 cooldown

I actually don't mind the equipment cooldown increase. Why? It will make the game feel more competitive and more skill play involved.

Not a very interesting augment in my opinion, it works exactly the same as the one Freeze has.

Finally, I have already seen it in the test server but I am still excited to check it out on the main servers!

I don't mind this one as Tesla is not as strong as it used to be before.

I have seen many players complaining about the Projectile speed (especially in eSports) so I am glad to see the speed being increased.

Striker is probably one of the best (if not the best) turret in the game, I feel like its damage should be decreased.

Not bad, even though Thunder deserves a huge buff in my opinion.

I guess that is a fair change, especially because Hornet's OD is deadly with turrets like Freeze and Striker.

Dictator is an underrated hull, hopefully people will start using it more now.

I've said it eariler, Ares is probably the most underrated hull in the game. I wish to see more people using it, but I feel like the slow gameplay is what makes players pick other hulls.

Good addition to repair kits. I really want to see the old version of the repair kit in the game, though.

Interesting changes - Also not sure if that means RRE wont have any disadvantage now (except of clicking spacebar many times in sake of a direct second subsequent shot) RRE players only who can understand?

- Good change for Smoky and Thunder, eventhough I think Smoky needs a quicker shot speed 500+.

Heck yeah!!! Time to see more dictators with high fire rate and DPS turrets along with the mechanic drone and heck even with some status augments.  Can't wait fot those 9 seconds of destruction.

I was clearly being sarcastic. But seriously. High dps with high fire rate turrets will get more annoying especially if its a status effect. 

I mentioned mechanic because it would be indirectly buffed.  Also dont forget 9 seconds of crit healing from support nanobots.

Tesla's consecutive nerfs had made this Turret pretty bad, as the ball lightning was cut in half. I put it in the same Tier as Thunder ?

I think a 0.1 reload speed was deserved. Will be interesting to see how Tesla will perform now.
