The weekly mission "Complete 3 daily missions" was giving 150 stars prior to this update instead of the 100 stars it was supposed to be giving. Now it has been fixed and is giving 100 stars.

besides that sure it's only 2 kills but it can be up to 10 depending on the players set up.

It’s literally the same as it was before, with the important difference that now you are unable to capture flags/balls/points etc. until a certain time period has passed.

Nothing else has changed.

With 15 min battles not a big deal.  If it was 7-min battles that's be a diff story.

I'll give up 1 minute on 15 to have a fair start.

I thought about suggesting this. The problem is, this can EASILY be abused by people who don't have a max garage: they can join a low GS battle intentionally with bad gear and then (during the delay after this update) change to 9999 GS and smoke the poor low - mid rank players.

Well that can be solved if MM took into acccount max GS of the player rather than current GS. So even if they intentionally took low equipment, depending on the GS of their maxed equipment they could be sorted out accordingly.

Game would fold in 2 months with no revenue coming in.

Why do you think players spend $ on the game?

Not as long as parkour bots exist and new op augments keep on coming.

I guess, but if someone has ONE max GS combo but wants to start playing with a new combo that they're slowly upgrading, wouldn't they get smoked by other max GS players? But then again, that's what happens now if you have low GS at high ranks. I suppose your suggestion is valid. Thoughts on putting it in the Suggestions forum?

To be honest, there's a fine line between needing money for updates and being straight up greedy for money.

If they were in need of money, they could've added a donations feature. I'm sure there are players out there that are more than happy to donate their money to support a cause.

 

However, the updates that have been getting released lately pretty much proves that the devs are just greedy for money.

When the Devs are actually pay their efforts on making new stuff and place it with a reasonable price. I'm willing to pay. Yet, when all they do is simply reusing the same old formula and put an insane price tag on their low effort work. No, this is not the way of how a business should be making money.

And if you never ever spend a penny on this game. You have no position to talk about this. You are nothing but one of those freeriders in the eyes of the Devs. You can't talk about on how a business will die while standing at the corner doing nothing of keeping the business "alive".

As for some guys here still believe the delay actually helps to make the game fairer. This is just completely bull crap. One single 4k GS player in a Legend MM game is enough to ruined the balance of the game. And how does that pathetic little delay actually help?

 

I have seen games are not even completely filled when the game has gone pass that delay long ago, and you think that delay actually do something?

What the frank are you talking about?

The game makes money because buyers are willing to shell out $ to have a higher GS score than players of similar rank.  If these buyers can't get that advantage, they will stop buying and the game will fold.  It's not rocket science - yet you still can't grasp that.

Updates for money?  That's not the topic at this point.

It's matching by rank or GS.  If you match by GS there's no incentive to upgrade, or spend $ to get an advantage.

If players stop spending $ because they can't get an advantage the game will collapse dur to lack of income.

It makes the battle fairer AT THE START.

4k GS vs 9k GS is a completely different issue.

The two issues are NOT linked.

And you mention "completely filled"... well there's at least SOME defenders right?  Better than NO defenders. 

Not having enough players to fill a battle is a third issue.

Seems to me you just have the inability to wait 60 seconds to play a game.  That's your problem.

Wrong, absolutely wrong. It is the YOU who failed to understand the situation and dare to educate some one with your lack of knowledge?

In lower ranks, that might be correct, but because the Devs boosted the XP to oblivion, lower ranks will be irrelevant very soon. What's left is players who maxed out their ranks. The so call Legend ranks.

Among Legends, most of them have 9k GS, and the difference between 9000 GS and 9999 GS can basically be ignored. What set them apart is the augments, drones and buyers only stuff they are using. Now remember, you get the exact same GS bonus regardless whether the player is using a rare augment or a legendary augment. So two 9999 GS player can end up very differently simply because one of them has Crisis and an AP augment while the other one has Brutus and a trash rare augment.

The reality is, you can't make this game balanced. This is simply the nature of P2W games. You want to get stronger and gain more advantages? You buy!!!

 

What I don't like is the attitude of the Devs. They are trying to create an illusion that the game is balance and fun to everyone. They make small changes and reuse old ideas that are barely relevant to the current situation and advertise it as if they have achieved something big, major, revolutionary in order to keep the hype up.

What I want is honesty and transparent. I would rather the Devs just be blunt and say "No, this is not how F2P/P2W business model works. If we make the game absolutely fair to everyone, we will be broken.", instead of making all those cheeky moves.

Actually I actually say the delay feature is a good thing. Why??? It was not fair to see people capture points or balls before the rest of the room is filled. So your basically saying that it is okay to get scores in before the enemy fully spawns???

What you will be experiencing more is one of

  • The game is not even filled after the delay is long past
  • Over half of the time has pasted the point you joined the game
  • You get an overwhelmingly strong/weak team. The result has already been decided before the game is even started.
  • A fair game to everyone. The rush-Bs will be immediately destroyed because by the time they reach the enemy base, a lot of the enemy will have spawned in.
  • None of above, as you are not playing MM 90% of the time

Does this situation actually bother that much to you? More than everything else? Like

  • Being shot down by a flying monkey who jumped to an unreachable place.
  • Constantly get bombarded by a magnum who hide behind a wall the entire game
  • A Crisis + Paladin just rush into your base, activates his OD and team kill your entire team
  • Getting EMPed, Stunned, Jammed, APed constantly through out the game because the opposing team has a bunch of douchebags using status effect augments?

The "people capture points or balls before the rest of the room is filled" is even more annoying to the above for you? Seriously?

When I play objective modes like siege, cp, and rugby; I expect to play in a game were the matches start more fair. Starting with 0-1 from the start in the 14:30sec mark is just annoying hence why I would leave instantly. This is pertaining to the delay time. Status effects is another topic.

It's ALL annoying.

But not wanting a change that fixes one of the issues (even IF it's only 10%) makes no sense at all.
