I doubt it was a bug because most of my shots were just lucky for rng. I think its the operating system actually.

Even then its still powerful for team play it is not meant for solo play.

Bro, i have like 85% of all Pay to Play augments and 100% of Garage augments. I know the power of team alts like AP freeze, gauss, healing shaft etc. i know the power of solo alts like vampire isida, burn twins or stun tesla......... and i can tell that Pulsar either fits into one of the bests Pay to Play alts (RARELY) or is almost as good as default rico cuz you get 1 crit per 2 kills (90% of the time) or literally just default rico cuz you get like 1 crit in 50 shots. Its way TOO INCONSISTENT even pure RNG alts like Blunderbuss are better because its still good even without crits aka bad RNG because default hammer is way better than rico. I want Pulsar to be CONSISTENT not the big daddy best monster truck alt in one fight and then in another fight its a feather. also increase its damn range this is a problem for default rico too its range is like 2 firebirds its borderline melee turret! people dont do ricoshets because range is just too small bruh.

Pulsar needs buff

1. Make it actually consistent even if it means ''nerfing'' its best RNG version.

2. Range!!!! i want for a turret called ''Ricoshet'' to actually benefit from well RICOSHETS (range needs to be increased for rico in general)

3. 9second burning hello?? burning in the end-game is trash anyway 9 seconds of burning might actually do demage if the enemy is not using repair. Everytime time i hit somebody with burning i do like 75 demage because they decide they dont like burning thats ignoring the fact that heat immunity is like the most populiar thing ever.

Honestly, I would be fine if they just increase Rico’s range a little bit and give Helios a hefty nerf.

After all, Pulsar is supposed to be a uniquely-obtainable and limited time augment.

Ideally though, Pulsar would have been much more unique if it had a random status effect lasting two seconds with each crit. Now that would have made it a really fun augment to use.

Just because a new augment is released does not mean it has to be extremely broken to be usable. You should know better as well when the developers release a new augment it would get nerfed some point. I was well aware of it being nerfed at some point but didn't expect it to happen rapidly but I still proceeded to get the augment.  If you can't handle how the augment is made or changed and whining about how weak it may be, just get more skillful with it even if you have to change your play style.

Ehh, this entire Ricochet change is stupid and only understandable if you had the money to shell out to get the augments. Like AP Ricochet being able to AP targets on a critical hit when Pulsar came into the game, which had the same duration. When AP Ricochet was nerfed to 1 second and Sizzling Field was nerfed to a 50% max temperature heating rate, Pulsar was also affected with its flurry of nerfs. Magnetron came into the game with 1 second of EMP right when Pulsar gets nerfed from 2 seconds to 1 second. Safe to assume that EMP and Stun Rico would have had 2 seconds of status application had these status effect augment nerfs not coming into effect.

EMP Rico do not apply the status if the shot that bounces is a critical hit. The two other status Ricochets apply status through critical hits. Yet if you bounce a Pulsar shot and it's a critical hit, it only applies the AP and EMP, no other statuses. It's all a convoluted mess right now.

like 60% of the times you get 0-1 crits before you kill medium hull and almost every time when you get that crit its mid-fight so  enemy is using repair kit and its immunity prot completely turns pulsar into worse than default rico. Helios and Pulsar should switch places in terms of power Pulsar should be the best non-garage augment because its once a lifetime augment you cant get it from random cont you get from destroy 10 tanks mission. I played against pulsars using AP immunity and no rico prot and i legit cant tell the difference between Pulsar and normal rico. You need to rely on RNG way too much. EVEN PLASMA TORCH IS DEADLIER TO ME 

Is there something so DARSTARDLY about a new augment not instantly breaking game balance? Is an augment garbage for not letting you steamroll an enemy uncontested?

Its the one augment that they could have an excuse for making OP since its rare and gated behind a big paywall. get more skillful with pulsar? is it so hard to you to undarstand that its literally default rico without luck on your side so what do i need to change about my play style lol? im just gonna play with this toy for like a week and then never use it again ill just go with berserk or something.

When I mean more skill I mean get better and adapt with the changes. You also have yourself to blame for getting the augment yourself. You should have known better from the start that it would get nerfed at some point. This is more of a players choice rather than the developers. 

If you took on their bait, that is on you. They even made the mini game a bit harder and all of us knew it. We chose to play the game.

You are correct, we just tested it and will report it. I has to be a bug in my opinion.

Not getting pulsar was the least of my worries i was going for Crisis and % prot.

Also them just randomly nerfing borderline PAY to PLAY items you can't get for free is absolutely naughty naughty they can face legal trouble for that. at least thats how it works in Gacha Games and this game is becoming a Gacha game since all it wants is for you to get new shiny augment and dominate no matter what.  And winning in MM is basically RNG unless ur 2 tons of pure skill

My point is Pulsar being barely better than default rico is a little bit insane when its gated behind 200$+ paywall and that is if you get lucky.

Welp we all played the game knowing the risks. Thats still a player problem for wanting to gamble away. Overall, its the players choice to spend and they had a choice not to. There's a thing called self accountability.

I don't know man, calling this barely better than stock seems like a bit of a stretch.

I know it does not look so good on a paper after the nerf, but I still think it's quite OP.

Of course, the prizes of the mini game would be $200+ since you are getting Crisis, Armadillo, Exclusive augment, and even skins. Technically they would have costed about $400+ but the mini game made it feel slightly less than that. Overall, this is still a players problem.

Is this gameplay from today?

I could swear that Tanki have increased the crit rate on Pulsar or Rico generally in these last few days…once again it seems abnormally high compared to before.

Yes, I just joined a game a few mins ago to prove a point.

Something is wrong here. I just know it.

Why is the crit rate so high on Pulsar today? Have a look at @Hiroyukisa’s video as well - he’s getting crits every few shots just like you are.

Surely the devs have put through some sort of patch update today? I suspect a few Pulsar owners may have complained about how low the crit rate was so the devs decided to increase it.

I mean this isn't the first time that the developers did hidden changes.  They probally did something but Im not going to assume yet.
