Saboteur Mines- Not working

Hi,

I am wondering why most of the time saboteur mine is not working. When I place the mine, nothing happens. Many times, I am unable to do for the entire game duration. What could be the problem?

We cannot help you if we have no idea of what is going on. Please record a video of when it is happening. If that is not possible, try a series of screenshots of the issue.

Hi @luckylook500, the additional mines have a special delay before activation, depending on your upgrades of the Saboteur drone. Fully upgraded drone has a 4 seconds long delay before the additional mines are activated. I believe that might the problem. If it's not the case, report it in the Bugs and Glitches Reports section of the Forum with video as evidence.

If you mean to say that you went to place the mines, and only 1 mine got placed, unlike the Saboteur properties to place multiple mines at once, this can be because the drone would be on cooldown, after placing mines with saboteur, you have to wait for 40 seconds until the drone gets recharged again and then place a number of mines (according to its upgrade) together. In the meantime, if you go place a mine whilst the drone is in cooldown, you will only drop 1 mine as usual.

Issue is that, at times, I am unable to place even a single mine through out the game.

That can be because your mine supply itself is at cooldown ?

This shouldn't be an issue, as Saboteur's cooldown was reduced to 30 seconds, same as the mine supply. The only time you might encounter this is if you die while the drone is in cooldown.

Without a video of your issue, I think it's impossible to know if it's a bug.

There are so many things that can affect your supplies and drones now, especially the Jammer status effect.

Jammer will make your Saboteur drone pretty much useless, and your mines might be in a cooldown. This cooldown could have been activated because of the EMP status effect or because you used a mine. Maybe you ran out of mines, too?

Do you say, for the entire period of the game for 14+ minutes, the mines will be in cooldown mode?
