Patch Update #686 - Released 13th May 2022

 

  • A new augment has been added for Firebird — «Toxic mix»

    • [Note] This augment applies the «Armour-piercing» status effect with any shot, not only critical hits.

  • Firebird

    • Heating rate decreased from 0.2-0.5 to 0.2-0.4 temp/sec;

  • Isida

    • Fixed beam highlight color for all shot effects;

  • Vulcan

    • Critical damage per bullet decreased from 140-280 to 110-220;

  • Thunder

    • Reload duration decreased from 3.3-2.0 to 3.2-1.9 sec.;

  • Magnum

    • Damage decreased from 750-1500 to 670-1340 HP;

    • Critical damage decreased from 750-1500 to 670-1340 HP;

    • Reload duration decreased from 6-3 to 4-2.4 sec.;

    • Amplification duration decreased from 3 to 2 sec.;

    • Critical hit chance increased to 30%;

    • Max splash damage radius increased from 2 to 10 m.;

    • Critical Splash Radius increased from 7 to 10 m.;

    • Average splash damage radius increased from 5 to 11 m.;

    • Weak damage percentage increased from 5% to 50%;

    • Projectile gravitation decreased from 4.5 to 2;

    • Initial shot angle decreased from 12 to 8 degrees;

    • Max projectile speed decreased from 130 to 120 m/sec.;

    • «Reinforced gun carriage» augment

      • Price increased from 149 000 to 245 000 crystals;

    • «Armor-piercing core» augment

      • The «Armour piercing» status effect’s duration decreased from 7 to 5 s.;

    • «Automated gunpowder loading mechanism» augment

      • Decreases Amplification speed by 25%;

      • No longer increases reload time;

    • «Mortar» augment

      • Now decreases min, average and max splash damage radiuses by 75%;

      • Now decreases critical Splash Radius by 50%;

    • «Harpoon» augment

      • Fixed turret elevation decreased from 3 to 0 deg.;

      • Projectile gravitation decreased from 4 to 1;

      • Now increases min and max impact force by 100%;

      • Now decreases min, average and max splash damage radiuses by 75%;

      • Now decreases critical Splash Radius by 50%.

    • [Note] The first noticeable change of this turret is the projectile trajectory. The projectile now falls to the ground slower. This change will require you to find new places to shoot on maps. Instead of these complexities, there is a second notable change. Splash damage now deals more damage. Instead of having to shoot very accurately, you can now constantly shoot a large area.

  • Hornet

    • Overdrive duration increased from 30 to 90 s.;

    • [Note] Might be very useful with the new Magnum.

  • Crusader

    • Overdrive’s damage type is immune to any kind of protection, like Hopper and Hunter overdrives;

    • Overdrive’s damage increased from 1500-3000 to 2000-4000 HP;

    • Overdrive’s radius of max splash damage increased from 1 to 3 m.;

    • Overdrive’s splash damage radius increased from 10 to 30 m.;

    • Overdrive min. splash damage percentage increased from 10% to 25%;

    • The «Armour piercing» status effect’s duration applied by overdrive increased from 5 to 9 s.;

    • [Note] It is very hard to increase player’s accuracy when using the icicle. So we decided to add a very useful debuff to enemies in a large radius from the point of impact. The overdrive is now extremely useful against Titan’s dome and can be used against Paladin on accurate hit.

  • Titan

    • Overdrive now again heals teammates with 100 HP per second speed.

    • [Note] A small compensation for the appearance of another way to break the dome.

  • Ares

    • Overdrive’s speed decreased from 18 to 12 m/s.;

    • Damage/Healing radius increased from 15 to 20 m.;

    • Max splash damage radius increased from 5 to 10 m.;

    • Inside the splash radius (not a direct hit), the player gets 50% of the damage.

  • The following skins have been added to the skin container: Hunter Legacy, Wasp Legacy, Twins Legacy, and Smoky Legacy.

  • Fixed the bug with «fireflies» caused by the dynamic lighting.

Old Titan overdrive is back! Now bring back old hornet overdrive pls

Quite an Interesting patch here, going to ignore the AP fire

This change seems interesting for Magnum, but I still can't figure whether the overall parameter buffed or nerfed the turret, because the stock damage along with critical hit has been decreased.

Huge buff to Crusader OD, happy that I upgraded crusader to mk7-10, still worth a try tomorrow.

This is basically a radar increase, would help a bit but not that much......

Yeah I'm not sure about those Harpoon changes, it seems like it might just be "always full charge" now which would be a little disappointing

i only dont like change to 8 deg for ap, I was used to 12 degand 3 deg. But all in all nice changes for reload and amp

Titan's OD continues to be absolutely Toxic. Either you can't do anything against it and you are forced to wait for it to end with Hyperspace ready to fire, or you have a direct counter to it. That's just bad in my eyes.

Hornet, from 30 to 90 secs of Radar? Meh, alright but nothing to write home about. 

Crusader OD buff is justified, it had one of the worst Overdrives in the game, more often than not it was meme-worthy. We'll see how it will perform from tomorrow on. 

 

I can't speak much about Magnum since I don't play it and I don't like it, but the bigger splash gives me PTSD from the first iteration of the Turret, when it rained splash damage everywhere.. awful. 

 

But there is only one change worth noting, and that is

You mean immortal unless there is a Hunter, Hopper, Crusader, Mammoth, Wasp, or even another Titan with their OD ready around? Right

Unfortunately magnum got a change of the most annoying turrets and very good ones in past hope this new change doesn't make magnum that op like how it was months ago although i think at next patch notes it would be nice to see a nerf at Freeze critical and a change at Jammer mix augment. Not bad patch notes I'm interesting to see how hornet od will work in MM

Actually I like the hornet duration buff. Usually I use it for tracking enemies since I play on mobile at times, but I am going to have more fun with it.
