They changed that system since 4 months ago. For a few missions, their number is still variable due to the slot they are assigned to, but the others are fixed. Them being easier to complete than before means they can pop up in any slot.

I actually rage quit a battle the other day when a guy on the enemy team had this augment lol. The entire kill feed was his mine kills

I'd do the same it's absurdly broken.

Like I was the single miner on the team.

Enemy team had 2 paladins, 1 mammoth and healing shaft + ares that would spam nukes.

They would come all together as a team with ODs etc.

Managed to cap a single flag in the entire match LOL while my below average team got 2 flags capped and we won.

THATS A SINGLE MINER WITH NO OTHER SABOTEUR USER ON THE TEAM

I use it in ASL attacking team and it always gives just enough HP to cap a flag which is very useful. Outside of ASL the extra 1000 HP can be useful but if you're fighting not a long range turret the augment just makes no difference. I like it more than Driver though as of now.
