Patch Notes for Freeze, Isida and Firebird give their damage in their DPS. The note is reminding players that the number they will be seeing in-game is divided by 4. The DE Patch Note makes this more clear to the reader.

Those would be...very unconventional changes to make to a turret/augment. Instead of damage falling off with distance, it increases?

 

The arcade shots for Shaft have been "short range" since 2018. It was then changed to an intermediary between melee and short range after June 2020, which then became short range again in October last year. In December, in an effort to make Shaft less camp-heavy, they reduced the sniping shot reload and allowed arcade shots to have medium range. RFM now gets to have practically infinite ammo and frequent burst with this range, with a 30% max critical chance, 5% chance step and more than x1 critical damage. All things considered, it powercrept Light Capacitors. Reducing the effective range was the obvious step if they wanted to justify the burst damage. So no, it was never meant for medium-long range gameplay in its lifepsan. 

 

As for Helios, it's only stated as that because of the long minimum damage range. You can't really "snipe" anything if you're dealing much less than 100% of your damage to someone across the map. It's the same reason status Electroturret augments (namely AP and EMP) were used the way they were and not the way the devs (somehow) thought it would be used. Who would have thought that a 7-second rechargeable, 810 base damage ball with a tank-weakening status effect attached to a MELEE turret would be used for MELEE gameplay? Boggles the mind, I know. Completely unexpected. 

 

Seeing the way the game balance is rn, I doubt Helios will turn into a small damage close range, big damage long range augment. The gameplay is turning from potent and frequent status effect spam to raw burst damage. Helios, Beserk and Plasma Torch were leading the pack, followed by Sledgehammer and RFM.

No more speed boost, at all. Your max speed is higher. example- If max speed was 10 now it's 11.

This has been a big reason why high ranks/legends have a totally "USELESS" G/S.

I have been asking for a reversal on this for a long time. Increase CRY/XP by a factor of X3 and this G/S problem should be solved for players when they rank.

Efficiency has always been a problem to increase. The developers will not say how you can achieve positive efficiency in battle. They say the algorithm involved is to complicated to explain. Players do not want the algorithm explained, they want to know how efficiency is obtained in battle, ie:- is it being on the winning team with a place in the top three, or is it that, but also having a positive K/D?

I feel like ever since critical damage was introduced to others turrets, the developers are now really confused when it comes to nerfing or buffing something properly.

For example, Tesla is already an op turret, and the most annoying in non drug noise, and then they INCREASE both the default and critical damage for it??? Just to compensate the increased reload??
 

Also, the main point of Crisis and Trickster is for the speed, I can get a slight decrease in speed, but to completely remove the purpose of it? What????

Assault needs to obtain a kill for the drone to activate and reduce current supply cooldowns by -15 seconds. Hyperion has that ability baked into the drone and has no requirement to achieve that, hence it is passive. 

Last I remember, Camper can't zip across to the other side of the map in seconds or have boosts below 100% HP. 

Trying to explain stuff to children can be sooooo tedious at times.

Ok ta. When you see QUICK BATTLE and the mode is small, its quick battle that dominates the screen on what you see.

On this i stand corrected. On everything else i stand correct.

thank you for pointing this out , I was going to state how most players feel about this new change . but now knowing what to do to change to a battle you want .makes it a little more easy / confusing for players. not sure why they did this when the old system worked great for all players.

Yeah, also the modes "button" seems really out of place and not fitting well with the whole interface.

I agree, the old system worked fine, but they introduced and changed the whole pro battles system, hence modified the current MM game mode screen also, I really want the button to be big enough to be noticeable for players, as it was very confusing to me also at the beginning, some changes are still needed to refine it more.

i would appreciate a list of how much per rank

also is it me or did the damage indicator text became a bit bold

Yes, in the kill-feed, the font and text became bold. Part of new UI implementation I believe.

I understand changes but when it came to this set up , it was fine and easy to follow.  with this new set up your having players confused and not knowing how to use it. just look at the open chat page , this is the main topic on going and will be all day seeing more players to join later and won't know how it works.

I just fine some of these changes are just to waste time and wages . others yea I agree needs to be improved.

Yeah. You can tell a user-friendly update to a button by the fact that it now takes one more click to get where you want to go. ?

That must be Tanki's definition of "mindfulness". I mean how does the decision-making process even work here? Do the developers get together like "Hey guys, I have a great idea for the interface! It will make entering a battle more cumbersome for the user ... let me tell you!"

What drone should i even use now?? I maxed booster 2 weeks before it got nerfed from +200% damage to +30% and it was OP asf with AP gauss. Then they nerfed it and i was annoyed but it was still very powerful, Now it's LITERALLY garbage. Just played CTF and i can't even one shot a light hull (no gauss protection) with my maxed EMP gauss and booster.

Honestly wtf tanki. Nerfing Booster the first time was annoying but understandable cos it was the best drone in the game by far. WTF was the point of nerfing it now??? You've  just made it unusable. Think about this: maxed striker single shot with maxed booster (excluding uranium) can't even one shot an unprotected light hull with no boosted armor.....

Think about how silly that sounds! It's just pathetic and to think i've spent close to £200 on this game and i was  gonna buy a 290 Ultra container bundle in the summer.

Emphasis on was. This game is stupid and finished. They really don't know how many players they lost when they nerfed booster the first time. Now they've made booster unusable, and crisis too.......   finished game. Don't spend money on it. It'll be obsolete in a couple years.

The amount of the available fund depends on the rank. Ranking up allows you to get additional crystals and experience. With the Premium pass, the available limits are increased by FIVE times.
