Without upgrading the drone, it’s not very effective, but still consumes supplies just as quickly as when it’s maxed. However, maxing it (or at least getting it to a level which is decently effective), will take your entire bank of crystals, simultaneously making it nearly impossible to use since you won’t have the funds to support the drain in supplies.

We’ll see whether this is all “psychological tricks” or not within hours of the drone being given out.

Well pretty sure you would be salty too if you spend 1000$ to get this item just for it months later to be given away for 10$ (if you spent 1k you deserve it lol)

after getting crisis its gonna be like this

A. F2P get crisis waste 80% of their supplies realise how its not worth it at all to use it as F2P and never use crisis again.

B. F2P get crisis and be stuck with trash lvl 10 crisis for months while wasting a mountain of supplies every time they use it. Crisis only gets worth it at lvl 19-20. 

im pretty sure seeing a F2P player with crisis after 1 month from now will be next to impossible. I mean we already have 5k gs people at legend lmao.

there are no psychological tricks brah. For me you can get crisis and armadillo i don't care gl killing pathetic paladin buyers who pretend to be good. But don't come back saying that you don't have supplies left.

I have on my alt account armasdillo fully upgraded. It is used especially when tankers switch turrets during a game and you are not equipped accordingly with modules.

I also have crisis fully upgraded and I am NOT using it since the change that you cannot pick supplies off the ground. Hyperion is much better.

So as we are getting Crisis, the game would be in need of another OP drone, am I right?.. So I thought about new drone - "Critter"

Every time you use any of the supplies, the crit bonus is actived for short time (for 2-3 seconds on last upgrades 20/20).

The crit bonus would be similar to the one when you activate Dictator's or Hornet's overdrives (The red thingie).

For balance, the drone could use additional +1 supply each time you activate it, also the Armadrillo would be very effective against this drone (especially when lots of F2P players get it after the fund).

As for the people who have spent 1000s on the game and are now enraged, i don't rlly feel pity - no one asked them to blow 1000s on an unstable game.

I only feel for the 'sporadic' buyers (buyers who have purchased 1 or a few bundles over the years) - because, as time has shown, they've wasted that money since the gear has been nerfed and no we're basically getting crisis and armadillo for free.

A) That won't be me , I only play like 5 matches a day

B) I won't get 'stuck', on level 10. I'll carry on using booster and will upgrade crisis only on 50% off sales until it's like 17/20 - then i start using it. 

C) Slaying the certain pathetic buyers who are only 'good' cos of paladin OD and Crisis will be easy. I will literally be using the same combos as them with just one difference - i'm vastly skilled and experienced.

It is actually very interesting, I’m all fro planning on how and when to activate supplies. That’s how I usually go about them, plan to activate the most useless, second most useless, and then the most useful. That way I’d still have some useful supplies left on the timer when I get to enemy base. So I’d love to try this out.

As a F2P myself, I would prefer to see this kind of drone available for purchase in crystals, probably in the same category or price range of Hyperion or Booster/Defender/Trickster.

But if we consider the fact that the game developers constantly need new stuff to sell, they could add this exclusively in the Ultra Containers for some time (Similarly how they use to add new augments in containers first, then making them available via challenge passes later). Also, the rarity could be Orange/Yellow, not necessarily Red, just depends how would they balance it

Well myself and others did say, unless you have zillions of cry armadillo is non essential. You are better off saving your cry for upgrades on prots, turrets/hulls.

Am i the only one who thinks Paladin isn't even all that? I mean it used to be wayyyyy better. Before we couldn't even use OD or drone near it due to Jammer and the healing rate was faster. It's still powerful now but IMO Ares is the strongest hull rn...

Healing rate was never changed. Booster was nerfed which reduced the extra healing bonus Booster gave you. Seeing that you primarily use Booster, I'm assuming that's where you got that conclusion from. 

 

Although it has more counters now via other hulls' Overdrives, it is still frustrating to fight against, justified by its design of having a long duration with a long score penalty. If you don't have AP Immunity or burst damage easily available and applicable in the location of the Paladin, then it is understandable that is is still being complained about. It doesn't help that that along with Ares is the hull being spammed by sweatsquads with meta drones.
