You may have seen players in recent months or in the near future complaining that Helios is "too weak now" and that is precisely because of its maximum reload being increased from 6 seconds to 8.7 seconds. The time between its trickle shots have been increased again, further punishing the user if they did not kill the target with the initial burst damage because repair kits last longer before the next trickle shot interrupts it. So instead of killing the target in 5 seconds with the 4.3 second reload Helios, they may now take up to 20 seconds to kill the same target with the 8.7 second reload.

They should rebuff it!!1!111!!!1!!

I'm honestly a bit sad to see it die a little. It'll probably stay down for a long time, possibly even years, before it gets rebalanced.

Honestly, same pattern for Scorpion.

Wait! Does that mean if I spent 150.000 crystals to upgrade a turret to MK6-10, I'll have to pay another  150.000 Crystals to get MK7-0?

According to what I can see, yes, you will have to either:

  • Assuming the item can be purchased with tk via the shop in a kit, buy it like that, (Note, Scorpion, Tesla and all hovers are not accessible in this manner normally, unless tanki makes an event to release said mk7 item, last one I recall, being mk7 vulture from the loss of control event)
  • Or the alternative, to get to Marshal and spend that extra 150K crystals to unlock the same item, looks and strength, but 'unlock' the final set of 20 or 15 upgrades.

This is the well-known marketing strategy known as "buy one item for the price of two". It is based on the fact that you are selling items so rare and precious that people will literally do anything to obtain them. Only the finest businesses in the world can afford to employ this strategy - ordinary merchants would go bankrupt over it.

BTW the scarcity of the product can largely be enhanced by restricting access to it (like just now when you cannot even access the game). That will make customers even more eager to spend when the item is available.

You might wonder if that really works, but friends from Germany tell me that this is what it was like when shops in the German Democratic Republic sold bananas every once in a while. Bananas were a luxury food item that was only available in extremely limited amounts in the GDR. And you never knew when they would be available. People queued for hours, and any price could be asked. I think this is roughly what we are looking at in this game. It's just that most of us are not very familiar with the underlying market mechanisms such as could be found in the GDR.

They did not include it in the Patch Notes, but thankfully the Masters of Parkour 2023 paint finally had its texture updated to match that of the tanks seen in v-log promos about the contest

Now you have truly simplified the game for newer players, by reducing the amount of items you have to go through rather than having all of the stutters but removing V/R keys or in battle crystals for simplicity.

Nice reductions. As the many stuffs we had were hard for newbies, me and returned players. Now in real as I rarely play Tanki, I only read the core changes in the patchnotes, but I don't read turret/augments balances, as they change a lot and I'm quite out-of-date to understand them.

With the update to the missions interface, multiple new tabs of missions have been introduced.
This poses an issue in readability and clutter of the UI.
I suggest the tabs with all missions completed to not be displayed (prime example is the tutorial tab, which once completed, is not needed at all).
If that is not possible or intended by the game designers for whatever reason, there should at least be a toggle allowing you to hide/show tabs with completed missions.

u give me 5 million crystals by removing billion of drone and i invested 10 million+ crystals for upgrades .

my account have 70,000 plus drone battery 300x70,000= 21000000 crystals .

without premium i earned  hard crystals u removed 10 drones i think and in best scenerio (50% mu and 50%su) cost 1500000 crystals per drone.

1500000x 10 =15000000(15 million) u give me 5 million only.

i hope my calculation is right or please rectify it.

very disappointing

What does this infer? Will we still have to pay the full price of a modification even if we've completed all the upgrades before ranking up?

You guys are among those who'd over abuse a broken op augment or turret to the point where it gets nerfed. So Ironic that you people yourselves invoke chances of nerf and afterwards complain about them.

Why? So there is 0 point in upgrading stuff at low ranks now

This would not be a problem if the devs incorporated my idea of increasing the amount of XP needed to rank by a factor of x3 and also increasing the amount of cry earned in relation to XP by a factor of x2/x3. I have not even logged into my account yet and already I no it's not going to be good.

I would like the text wall of notifications removed so I can actually see what is happening in battle, this includes players names which do not have to be shown and serve no purpose whatsoever except to hinder your performance in battle, "because you can't see a damn thing on the screen".

How about in the next patch update you fix the lag, no damage done and a multiple of other things that ruin game play, sounds like a good idea to me.

Remember folks, a wise man narrating the vlog once said: "we know you guys hate status effect augments.."

Regarding the upgrade system, no way the developers decided to implement this change without another money-making counter plan

I gave you a "AGREE" lets increase that by a factor of 10 to the power of infinity as I know for a fact this is a cash making update, just like every single other one.

The thought process behind everything the devs do is so malignant, which is a shame because they have a great game (EDIT) (USED TO HAVE) they ruined it years ago with there 1 dimensional approach on what they thought would enhance the game......cash incentive OP game changers.......and never take into account what players want. I could elaborate for quite awhile but been there done that.

I get what you are saying, but as somebody who earned a lot of his own crystals to upgrade equipment, I feel scammed out of my time and crystals. Most of my crystals I've spent went into upgrading equipment in order to have the best hulls and turrets maxed out, yet I feel like I could've done what I achieved with much less now, especially if you consider that I also used to pay for Ultra Container and other stuff, now it is just like you take your crystals, use them to buy the event currency and never using the event currency for what it was made for. Now think again. Do you really think that is fair to us older players? To those who actually spent time and money to get what they have on their account now? I really don't think it is justified anymore, I was fine with them giving us at least some compensation for the drones, but leaving us empty-handed on such a big change?

You actually spent cash on containers??##*?!#?........ I'm perplexed that you did that knowing the history of the devs and how they manipulate and change everything on a cash making whim. When will players ever "wake up" and realise that this game does not deserve your cash because this game is a joke. Quote by the devs, (not word perfect) we removed certain drones because we agree that the game is less complicated by doing so and this should help players in a big way. All lies of course, they removed certain drones for there benefit, not the players. The devs are very adept at misleading you, experts actually. Carry on spending your cash on the game, but don't complain when the devs screw you over (AGAIN) and smile while drinking their voddy that you and others paid for.

Just a BIG FAT NO !!!

what happened to our monthly challenges . new one was to start soon , there was still 3 days left. .. so now we find them only on main garage page and not with the event mission sections. why not is it not a mission ? or will this be removed and April will be our last months for it ?

Titan now feels like a wasp it bounces all over the place. also was in two battles and my shots did no damage to the other team.

It feels like you did the exact opposite. Vulcan's rotation slow down is much more noticeable now

That's what the change is. That paramater slows your Vulcan's maximum rotation speed while firing down to that %. At Mk7+ it was previously 30% of 120°/sec and now it's 10% of 120°/sec.

They should have rephrased it. The slowdown increased, not decreased. Or they can say the turret speed when firing decreases from 40-30% to 20-10%.

Guess overall, it's a net nerf for Vulcan then. I have no idea what these Russians are thinking as always. Nothing that comes from their brain seems logical. Vulcan is practically unusable now without RAT. In which the turret already got the least love, just look at the augment selection Vulcan got compared to the rest.

I guess I was not wrong when I joke about the Devs being Vulcan racist.

The phrase itself is not wrong. The parameters itself is "turret slowdown when firing" and what is being decreased is its values. That's usually how they phrase paramaters like these in patch notes. If you know how the paramater works then you'll almost immediately understand what is changing.

You could say the same about Isida. In fact, you could say that Isida has received less love than Vulcan over the past 4 years. Both have the same amount of augments available, except Vulcan itself has received many changes over the past 4 years while Isida has not noticeably changed since January 2019. The only thing that changed with Isida was the 15% damage buff in February 2021 (no changes to its gameplay and pacing) and its critical chance nerf of early 2022.

Not going to argue with grammar.

At least Isida gets a fairly OP Vampire augment, although that's another "reintroduced new feature". What does Vulcan get instead? An absolute trash rubberized bullet. Good lord. And now they nerf an already underperforming turret? Like what on earth are they thinking?

Unless they increase the turret rotation speed, or any status effect augment will be useless on Vulcan. You can't apply those status effects when you can't hit anything!!! Not to mention Vulan's already bad crit chance is halved again. Like what the hell?

While definitely not as versatile as vampire isida, rubberised bullets are actually OP on some enclosed maps. Like maps with tunnels (Silence, Scope), or maps where the enemy team sits in an enclosed base (Industrial Zone and Chernobyl ASL)

a.k.a. situational. In fact, very, very situational, given (1) it is supposed to be in legendary tier and (2) there are way more augments that perform better than rubberized bullets in that best case scenario. This is supported by the fact that we see almost no one using it at all.
