This is one of the main reasons why this business is still running. Irrational customers do exist, and in this case, it's a lot more than just a few of them.

No wonder preying on this weakness through loot boxes got the game banned in several countries. Pretty sad to se Hazel grinning in the youtube interview over his planned workaround to enter these markets again. Like, govs of these countries put the ban there for a reason. It is harmful.

Further increased supply consumption. Not that it would matter. The people gunning for the drone would have ample supplies to use with it.

I honestly can't understand why call such people irrational. It's their money their life their choice how they spend it, I don't think you would appreciate someone calling you irrational for buying a certain brand of something either. If they have the money to spend it why shouldn't they if they want to?

Well then why would people pay millions for a CS2 skin? It's still just a virtual cosmetic that doesn't bring anything (CS2 if not a dying game but it doesn't matter)
Everyone is free to spend their money as they wish, not how others wish, regardless of it's an XT drone in Tanki or a new Rolls Royce.

Wow did not know that  can you tell me how much increased? I think consumption is  3 for both crisis and hyperion normal ones.

its 0 because I saw many 10k gs and only like 1 of them i found was not abusing JGR in JGR mode. And you dont consume supplies as JGR. Technically tho its 6 per use i think

Unfortunately its true, you see it mostly in this situation. Or events like bonk, its just weird flexing thats all, I dont know why this game made it 10 supplies per use thats insane Instead of benefiting you that you managed win that grind fiesta challenge  you only get up with lame ass drone that has to be upgraded and then it consume supplies like black hole. Guess thats reward for effort This is probably only game I know that just downgrade rare items instead of getting advatnage. It would be awesome and actually made sense to consume 2 instead of 3, because you fought hard for that, either payed a lot of money on spend crazy amount of time.

Well in the game's lore it's a Drone you can buy but now it has gold and other things like diamonds, crystals on it so it is extra expensive. Guess the creators of the "Golden Drone" wanted to scam their customers by purposely rigging it so that it consumes more of your supplies when you try to take advantage of it. Maybe they're the same people that sell supplies...

As for the actual gameplay side I think it's just intended to be an "ULTRA FLEX" and not look at me I have a better version of the same drone. It's a way for people to flex. similar to how some buy gigantic homes for no reason other than to flex cuz they definitely have more than enough space
