Patch Update #762 - Released 27th April 2024

 

  • Added a battle tutorial for new players to teach them how to control their tank and how to fight

  • Fixed the bug when upgrading equipment, which compared parameter changes to the next modification instead of the next level

  • Fixed the bug which prevented the purchase of some special offers in Steam

  • Fixed the bug with the selected map changing when changing filters in the battle creation menu

Ah still no JGR buff? It feels really underwhelming and it takes even only 1 good player with broken augment to literally take down JGR. Pls buff it by reverting the nerf or make it getting OD siphon every 5-10 kills

It's not a bug. Each Gauss augment works differently from other.

sorry but I'm fully against this at a Legends ranks .

seeing I have been corrected on this indicator for shots fired at your tank and not what I originally stated.

if you go below to another post you can see where you can turn it off.

 

I'm still not a fan of this .

we should all know how to battle within the first lower ranks.

If you want us to turn turrets this is our choice to do or not to do.

Highly remove the red arrows on telling players which directions to go.. just a waste of tanki's money to create this. also the arrows go all directions .

Steam still has the outdated client version + i still cant purchase anything using Steam wallet.

If only I could , Tanki still has not fixed the Browser in chrome or in Firefox . lots of players can't join the game cause of it.

when I do turn things off it only lasts for one battle. i then have to do it in every battle on 3 accounts.

also this is a pain , it gave me a headache when in use, the hornets OD needs to be removed due to others who have medical issues with flashing lights.

this circle takes over almost the whole page when in use.

I don't know if you followed past patch notes, but that arrow is not meant to tell you where to drive to. It is a damage indicator that shows the direction you were shot from. You do not need to act upon it, it is simply an informative feature. If anything, it is convenient to know enemy's line of fire so that you know location of your opponents, but if you find it too disturbing then disable it in settings:

How is it not a bug...

aim with gauss 

When you are aiming and reached half the circle and sometimes even at 75% of the circle, the aiming resets.

Which is so annoying and makes u get killed 

But hear this, when the game lags for a few sec, the aiming is fixed but no damage because the servers are lagged.

sir when you really come down to it. do we need it .. in my books having played since 2013 , its more a pain. who cares where the shots come from , in the end you either live or get destroyed. think about having shots from every direction it would end up looking like a bunch of flower petals  on all angles . making you not know which way to go.

and yes I have turned it off for now , but not sure for how long it will stay off in battles .

@Mr_STIFFLER No, it is a bug. I understand that the "Time of aiming recovery" parameter for Gauss has always been there. But, I am talking about something different. No matter which Gauss augment i am using, no matter who i aim at (even at an  immobile target) it:

  1. Locks down for half of the lock-on indicator,
  2. Immediately goes to 0 even though i'm still holding the trigger key (this is the bug).
  3. (Still holding the trigger key) Then the lock indicator starts from 0 and goes to full lock ( it also takes the full lock on time)

So effectively, it takes 1.5 of the original lock-on time no matter which Gauss augment I am using. This doesn't happen with any of the other turret with similar mechanics like striker or scorpion. 

I am 99% sure that this is bug because I have seen other's game-play in YouTube, and they don't get the error i am describing

Yo why was this <<Tanks in Space>> event such a scam ? You never even told players if they were getting energy in daily missions. 
Whoever makes events gotta get booted and replaced!

Since all the other mini events had them in daily missions, most of the players will buy it without thinking. This is a dark pattern just to trick players into spending tankcoins. L tanki for that

Why did the test service link in the bonus for testing news need an invitation code a few days ago, and now the direct page has disappeared, so there is no need for stress testing?

another L is tankoin upgrades. on new account i noticed that if you don't have enough crystals to upgrade your upgrade button style looks the same as if you had enough. (no red crystals number or something that indicates you don't have enough crystals) instead you get a pop up with small letters saying that you'll spend tankoins for the upgrade which can be easily skipped by accident if the player was upgrading a lot of steps at once. L tanki for that

it's not only on new accounts, its for all lpayer since October 13th

everyone knows about this im talking about micro upgrades.

also the crystal count is glitching on top of that. going from 20k to 27k to 29k to 15k while upgrading so you just have to guess and hope you have enough crystals or you'll waste 500 tankoins on mk1 hull

Then it seems our opinions differ here lady. I have been playing this game since 2010, and albeit I haven't had any troubles identifying my enemies - I would just ignore it and hope I'd survive - I find it a nice feature to have. I could hide or throw a shot into the highlighted direction. Do we really need it? Not necessarily. Is it a convenience? In my opinion, yes.  I find it similar to the auto-self-destruction feature. I hate it a lot, however what I dislike most is that it gets automatically turned on when cache data is deleted, or you play on a different device. 

Too bad you are not fond of the new damage indicator, but that is okay. That is why it is a setting that can be turned off. Perhaps they could make the 3D indicator somewhat smaller or let the arrows fade away quicker. As said in corresponding patch note, it is still a prototype and may get further tweaks later on. It may also improve the setting itself, so that it does not activate randomly

When shall we expect the return of the test server link for bonus reward? At this point, it might return after months since TO is slow in fixing stuff and implementing updates
