Doable with around 21 gold contracts provided u do 63k rep points, ensuring to activate and claim contracts as you go. I for one wasn't gonna grind that much.

Last year on this event, 3 Lollipops cost 200,000 cystals.  (curret one an almost 50,000)

And also there were more than islands on each stage last year (current one 18 steps ), mysterious and irritated number of setbacks.

Of couse, a player have to be gain a ton of battle points this time instead of  free Lollipops which was given with daily mission everyday last time out.

But there are a lot of players who complainig about mini-game in the shape of ignoring the fact.

Cybertanks event was better, the missions gave more free moves than this one. But both unfortunately don't have daily mission currency which can be earned by finishing daily mission (old minigames had that). Also 50k for a silver which is one move is crazy expensive. Next minigame, reduce it to 10k-20k a silver contract. Ain't going to play this mini-game. I'll rather save my rubies for the future tanki fund instead of buying golden contract

How are players suppose to complete this event . In the past I only got around maybe 2 times . this year I can't see much happening.

Here are the ways you can get Lollipops:  

• Complete a daily mission — 1 Lollipop each
• Complete a special event mission — 30 Lollipops 
• Catch a Lollipop goldbox — 1 Lollipop 
• Purchase event’s special offers and packs of Lollipops for Crystals and Tankoins 

 

But this year , we only get this .

Even if they were to reduce silver contract costs to 10k, it's too much of a grind. You'd still have to grind more than 10k BP a day to be able to go far in this event. Instead, they could increase the rewards of contracts by 2.5x - 2x for all tiers. So that'd be 5/4 lollipops for bronze, 25/20 for silver, and 125/100 for gold and put the shot effect checkpoint at checkpoint 3 so that people have to pay more to get the better rewards. This way players who almost don't have a life and low-spenders would have a chance at finishing the event. Hope the devs consider this next time.

Would have been nice if you could use crystals to early complete the silver contracts too, but I guess endgame crystals now are just supply+nade bait now, I don't see myself using them otherwise, 1k score would have been somewhat 'okay' then. 3k is just asking for too much...3k makes sense for 5 moves at least at best.

You're right but I think they should do both of that, reduce the cost of it and increase the reward of the contract as you said by 2,5x

Well they clearly value DC skins BIG TIME and don't want them to be thing you see everywhere. 
This event is clearly targeted towards whales and not Joe who instead of buying a pizza bought a 400 tankoins and completed the event start to finish.

I remember when these trick or treat mini-games where WAY more expensive I spent 15k tankoins just to reach 4th island but uh oh i got chained into a -15 (MINUES FIFTHTEEN) and spend 15k tankoins for LITERALLY NOTHING. 

Currently i spent 6,5k tankoins and I am at 9 steps away from island 4. But this time 3 gold contracts will 100% guarantee that I get there instead of getting another funny -15 back. While 5 steps for gold contract is definitely stingy i'll take that over previous Trick-or-Treats every time. 

Also you have 25 days to complete complete 108 steps which is around 22 gold contracts (let's say 25 gold accounting for HORRIBLE meteor luck) That means you need to get 3000 reputation points every day and you're GUARANTEED all these DC skins instead of crossing your fingers and hoping you didn't just drop 200 bucks into a campfire. From what it looks like everyone is trying to speedrun this event for some reason. Also if you don't like the new format just don't participate. simple as that.

most of the community yet i've seen MULTIPLE DEMONIC SHAFTS already. So guess what? They are not changing anything lmaoooooo

anchoring bias? well this mini game is factually cheap compared to how overpriced every single skin is in this game not adding the fact that its the cream of the crop type skin so...

there are mini-games that are way more f2p friendly. participate in those. you don't go to an Apple Store to get a cheap electronics do you? it's the same here. obviously the demographic is buyers.

Sure thing. Under the assumption that they don't turn everything into Apple Stores, requiring you to spend 50k cry and 45 minutes of grinding for every move in an event and destroying f2p progression to encourage spending on tk.

The maximum number of module slots you can have now is 4. If you already have 4 module slots, you will not receive any other slot.

To be fair we should always receive something for each prize.

If we already have it then we should get something else in return.

I agree. Tanki should have some compensation policy for equipment that is being infinitely recycled in the events. Sad that they have been ignoring this for years now.

I agree. Though this should only compensate you in the form of in-game currency or Keys.

Anyway, here is my take on this mini-game.

I think, although it is FTP for everyone, the amount of time spent just to get something intangible for your account isn't justifiable. 1.66 Million reputation points is crazy just for Bronze Contracts. 

Considering you get between 500 ~ 700 points each match (I'm using 700 as we can now see Bots had points nerf), it would take ~2371 matches to complete the minigame. That means a full 15 minutes or about 7 minutes considering you can rush a CTF match and get roughly those same points.

That would take 593 hours or 24 days of constant playing for the Shaft DC skin. (15 minutes). And 277 hours or 11.5 days of said constant playing (7 mintues).

The gold Contracts are a whole other story and is ofcourse better. But too expensive for something intangible.

The silver contracts are a more viable option IMHO and should consider more of your time.

Anyway, as a few players here probably already seen me in matches catching golds, I'm satisfied with reaching the 1st Legendary Key.

These DC skins will reappear on Black Friday. Save up your Keys.

Hey guys, can't find discounted golden contract anymore (100% sure I never bought it XD) what should I do? I thought it was supposed to be until the very end of this event
