I use Spear quite often, and while I obviosuly haven't been able to test these changes, I feel like this rebalance completely changes the point of the augment. Before, its sheer maneuverability easily made up for the damage decrease, but now I'm afraid it will simply miss in most use cases. The rocket number buff would be nice, but I'd rather keep the old version.

Seeing the high interest in two-player groups, we want to encourage more duo play. We hope we won’t regret this decision. We’ll monitor the situation and your feedback.

  • When there is no other active event mode, Deathmatch mode is enabled as an event mode by default.

    • The mode is available starting from Master Sergeant (8) like other event modes

    • The map pool of this mode includes all MM and Pro maps

    • Battle funds, experience gain, and gold boxes are not increased

  • Smoky

    • Critical hit chance was decreased from 14% to 13%

  • Striker

    • Missile launcher «Hydra»

      • Recharge time after salvo increase was changed from +100% to +80%

    • Missile launcher «Tandem»

      • Recharge time after salvo increase was changed from +50% to +35%

  • Thunder

    • Vacuum Shells

      • Damage decrease was changed from  -20% to -15%

    • Bolter

      • Weapon reload time decrease was changed from -40% to -45%

  • Scorpion

    • The maximum time between dealing damage to a tank and its destruction - used to count that damage as an assist - was decreased from 10 to 5 seconds

    • Reload was decreased from 4.5 - 3 to 3.9 - 2.6 s

    • Reloading a salvo was decreased from 21 - 14 to  11.5 - 9 s

    • Initial rocket speed was decreased from 70 to 30 m/sec

    • Initial rocket angular speed was increased from 80 to 120 deg/s

    • Final rocket angular speed was decreased from 7 to 1 deg/s

    • Rocket acceleration time was decreased from 2.5 to 2.0 s.

    • Pause between the rockets in a salvo was decreased from 0.16 - 0.11 to 0.14 - 0.09 s

    • Radius of medium explosion damage was increased from 2 to 4 m

    • Radius of explosion damage was increased from 2 to 6 m

    • Missile launcher «Wolfpack»

      • Number of rockets in salvo was increased from 6 to 10

      • Minimum rocket speed was decreased from 25 to 20 m/s

      • Maximum rocket speed was decreased from 75 to 50 m/s

      • Final rocket angular speed increase by +100% was removed

      • Added an increase in pause between the rockets in a salvo by +20%;

    • Missile launcher «Tornado»

      • Pause between salvo's rockets decrease was changed from -50% to -30%

      • Initial rocket speed was set to 70 m/s

      • Initial rocket angular speed was set to 80 deg/s

      • Final rocket angular speed was set to 17 deg/s;

    • Missile launcher «Spear»

      • Number of rockets in salvo was increased from 4 to 6

      • Initial rocket speed was changed to 45 m/s

      • Maximum rocket speed was changed to 30 m/s

      • Final rocket angular speed was decreased from 300 to 120 deg/s;

    • Missile launcher «Swarm»

      • Removed the decrease in Damage per rocket;

      • Removed the decrease in Minimum rocket speed;

      • Removed the increase in Minimum rocket angular velocity;

      • Removed the increase in Maximum rocket angular velocity;

      • Removed the increase in Salvo reload time;

  • Railgun

    • The maximum time between dealing damage to a tank and its destruction - used to count that damage as an assist - was decreased from 5 to 3 s

  • Gauss

    • Super Solenoids

      • Salvo reload decrease was changed from -16% to -22%

    • Nemesis

      • Aiming time increase was changed from +150% to +120%

  • Shaft

    • Stellarator

      • Minimum sniping damage override by 3300 HP was changed to an increase by +380%

      • Maximum sniping damage override by 3300 HP was changed to a decrease by -15%

  • Drones

    • Hyperion is now available for purchase in the Garage starting from Field Marshal for 320 000 crystals

    • Crisis is now available for purchase in the Garage starting from Legend for 365 000 crystals

  • Modules

    • Armadillo is now available for purchase in the Garage starting from Commander for 275 000 crystals

  • Updated icons of creating and managing a group in the Lobby

I see that with each update this game is getting worse and worse XD I see that apart from the elites, no one wants to play it anymore, funny

No more OP Groups FINALLY!!!

Also Scorpion changes... curious how it turns out! Can't wait to try out after server restart ? 

 

PS.: @Opex-Rah Can we expect a new Scorpion augment soon? ? (or multiple new augments for scorpion ;D)

I still have no clue what I'm supposed to do with Scorpion's lock-on. It's too slow/inaccurate to hit a moving target and campers have enough brain cells to rub together to hide under cover so it can't hit them.

It also only hits a tiny area for some reason despite being a giant swarm of explosive munitions. It's such a shame because I think Scorpion is the best looking turret to come out in the past few years, I love the sound of the cannon.

They keep nerfing Spear but Swarm just keeps on getting better. I don't understand the logic here.

here's a suggestion , i guess it'll help @Opex-Rah, :
1)decrease the Armadillo upgrade prices
2) since this was against rule , so i hope you hear it here , change rankup rewards to crystals - this will provide starter pack for new rank (e.g upgrades ) 
3) make event modes less common, this gonna make goldboxes more rare

Why do u want to decrease price for armadillo?

Its a strong protection and price reflects that, also im maybe in the minority, but i am a player that payed big money to have armadillo at a low rank and how is that fair to player like us ?

Probably the worst change on the current patch notes, 95% of the time you get teamates who dont turn they turret or dont use supplies at all  or the enemy team just camps in they base with anything possible to not let you win and yea thats probably why people keep complaining about Paladin in general since there is not any other chance to win such type of maps when your team is either completely awful or enemy team just camps in they base not even going off it at all. Two people group isnt enough to win against a better enemy team. no matter what map you playing 2 people are just not enough to win against even random people who just camp in they base 24/7 with the most annoying augments and drones in the game. The game just becomes TDM in most cases due to lack of reason for that 95% of people to get off they base and try to win or even care about the game at all.
At this point it would be better the DeathMatch mode to give 15 or 20 score per kill instead of 10 because there is actually no point for Team Modes when people basically play TDM without actually trying to play the main objective of the mode they are playing.

Defender is not OP.

This statement holds true because of the multitude of augments that negate it and render it useless. I have it maxed (like many players) and it does nothing to increase your survivability, because of all the OP augments in the game.

Defender is OP.

Quite possibly yes.

If augments were removed from the game then Defender would be a challenging drone to overcome, along with Crisis and Hyperion.

This is were balance and greed collide with each other to maintain the status quo, with greed = OP augments, which = cash, which = the status quo, which = nothing will ever change, which = TO will only get progressively worse as the greed will dominate until the status quo is broken, which = unicorns really do exist.

I'd rather have glorified TDM than 3 noobs with overpowered flying [edited]. breaking the game in seconds. now you all have to deal with 2 sweaty [edited]. way more manageable.

Not everyone will agree with me, but I think that is a great change. Especially considering the fact that you were able to just group up with two other extreme buyers and win literally every single round, now it shifted in a more fair direction. Keep it up. ☺️

This change however... I am not a big fan of it... it removes the uniqueness of Armadillo and Crisis. Same with Hyperion, new players don't even know how to use drones properly, hell not even all "Legend" players know that...

Its a great change in a way you probably don't realize since you are mostly focusing on the fact groups are now smaller. I am more interested in the increase in rank bracket.

Its another step towards making rank not reflect your power but just the way content is introduced into the game.

Control Point and Assault objective amount is legit same as one kill while being way harder? Of course people will just ignore the objective and go for kills, can you blame them?
Juggernaut is okay but really bad compared to what it should be
Siege same, except its harder than Juggernaut in most cases 
CTF and Rugby are only modes where going for objective is somewhat rewarding. I still think they should increase to 100 or 120 Score but it's still okay compared to the rest.

XP is even worse. Basically all objectives are equivalent to one kill.

Can you blame people for ignoring objectives then?

This doesn't mean much. If you can afford to do such a drastical change from one day to another then any turret could "not be in its final state". Tomorrow Thunder could have 1m of splash radius or Shaft could need 10 seconds for a full charge in sniper mode, because why not i guess? It would still have splash/sniper mode though so all good.

how it is fair for non-buyers , to even play the game? you only spend once but what about us?? who spent years upgrading drones and other stuff watching tanki just removing them giving worthless compensation? i think people are so dumb buying virtual stuff they dont know how long it gonna last

so buying the phone you use because you don't know how long it will last. Maybe 1 week before it blows up like Note 7. Maybe 2 to 3 years until battery degradation makes you upgrade because battery will suck. Maybe longer.

With everything being built to fail after few years so you upgrade / buy again, what is the difference? ?

I really can't follow the reasons for buffs and nerfs of turrets or anything else; Sometimes I see that things got nerfed while I don't think its needed; And then you see things got buffed which makes something just overpowered; First it was the addition of that Tesla module and the last time it's the increase of force of the Hammer; I understand it makes the turret stronger, but when you can't defend in any way it just need to be nerfed because it's unbalanced; You would expect that every turret or hull still has a weak point and I don't see that with the hammer, because you get stunned due to the high impact force

If the devs really did test out all updates involving the mechanics of hulls/turrets, then I'm very sure that they would get it right 99% of the time when it comes to balancing in MM.

Every player knows (or should by now) that they deliberately nerf/buff the mechanics of everything to make cash, and to try and boost player numbers in the process .

Like tesla's ball lightening range nerf, which makes it completely useless and takes away It's main objective in the game, keeping enemies at bay when defending.

The game as a whole and the vast number of complaints concerning the mechanics is a lost cause.

You know if the item is available for crystals, that means the item is nerfed to the ground.
