Sorry to disappoint you but after around 2016 the game went down exponentially. the bots are hated by everyone and devs refuse to give them even a slightest path finding upgrade (it's surprising how you only mentioned kamikadze bot juggernaut but not the constant pushing and blocking of bots) for years now. and even after you stop getting bots at the end of the game, you'll still be fighting the same 2-4 hyper specific combos and if you dont have access to one of the combos then you might as well quit the game because it'll be playable only in theory. the game now is just a casino. and the HOUSE ALWAYS WINS. you will not be enjoying the game very soon unless you get extremely lucky or spend a bunch of money and get moderately lucky. oh and pro battles are dead so there is no escape. (they also could not care less about anyone's feedback, you'll see people saying that devs only take feedback that brings them money but even that is not true. the updates and 'celebrations' in this game makes it feel like youre stuck in a time loop because nothing changes. even the smallest details stay identical)

  2. unfortunately, tanki doesnt even intend to make bots indistinguishable. that name part is intentional, and thats not the only identifying part of bots. Some other things you might not have noticed: 1) They all have solid color paints (as i said, tanki wants people to know that they are bots, not try hide it) 2) They all have protection module equipped which grants them protection against all turrets rather than using turret specific protections like normal players use. at higher rank (legend), the bots have 50% protections against all turrets. so its annoying even to fight against them. they are not challenge at all, just waste your time by taking long time to kill. 3) killing them gives less xp than killing players. 4) at higher ranks, bots hulls have blaster augment, they explode when destroyed and deal damage to tanks nearby. so if you you short range weapon, its even more annoying. based on these points above, i am pretty sure, tanki intentionally tries to be explicit about who is bot, and then you are punished for playing against them (as it takes more time to destroy them, and it gives you less points to do so, and with short range weapon, it can be kinda infuriating.)

  4. I just came back to Tanki after about 10 years and I’m genuinely enjoying it—there’s a lot that’s changed, but the game still feels fun and familiar. One thing I’ve noticed, though: bots are extremely easy to identify, especially at lower ranks. I understand why bots exist (filling lobbies and keeping queue times short), but right now they feel too repetitive and “fake,” which I think could hurt the new-player experience. A few things make them stand out: The usernames are often obviously artificial (ex: “Miss Barbara Roberts”) and don’t feel like real player names, we all know grandma isnt playing this lol. They tend to run the same exact hull/turret combinations over and over (Twins + Mammoth, Thunder + Viking, Firebird + Wasp, Railgun + Dictator, Isidia + Hopper, and a few others.). On a new account, I was seeing these same bots and combos constantly from Rookie onward, which gets repetitive and easy to notice fast. My concern is that new players will recognize the bots quickly and get bored of playing against the same bots over and over before they reach the ranks where more real-player matches become common. (I feel like i definitely would get bored of that as a new player) Suggestions (without removing bots): Use more convincing/realistic usernames (more variety, fewer “full name” patterns). Expand the pool of hull/turret combinations so matches feel less repetitive. If possible, slightly improve bot decision-making—especially in Juggernaut mode. Right now bot Juggernauts often rush around and die quickly, and the team with a real-player Juggernaut usually has a big advantage. I hope this feedback is useful—thanks for keeping the game alive, i'm hoping Tanki can get a bigger player base agian!

  5. i think it doesnt matter. what matters is their behaviour. and as you highlighted that in your post, i agree with all those points. those points are what need to be improved. i dont care if there are bots in my matches. i care if playing with/against them is frustrating.

Hi, ''Recently'', all the players got the mission ''Tutorial'' added, even the Legend ranked players, however, I observed one issue with it In total there are 9 section of it with mission, with, I think, each one containing the mission ''get a new rank'', however it's absurd, especially for Legend rank players because not everyone has premium, especially that they removed premium from containers and you need to buy it with real money if you don't have tankoins and they nerfed the experience point earned long time ago. Solution : For higher rank players including Legend, remove the ''get a new rank mission'' from every 9 section of the missions and replace it with something else.

  8. Many people no longer play the modes, resulting in it mostly being Team death match. The game play as been awful for a while, so much sabotage goes on and you can report it but nothing happens. Even at high legend ranking, you see people playing like it's their first ever battle, or they are actively being stupid and doing parkour in actual battles. I'm not sure how many people even bother playing till the end of the battle, so many times the game is drawn 5 minutes in and you see people leaving and new people entering all the time. Some battles you can find that the floater tanks on your own team are your worst enemy. They flip you over for a laugh as part of team sabotage, or use hammer to turn you over. I have several videos saved of people actively sabotaging their own team to ruin the game. The game needs more moderation to filter out the people intent on destroying it.

Bro -40% overall reload and instant reload after kill is just insane and warmup is much lesser!? u will clearly see whoever has this is just instant 33/2 k/D other railgun augments are just slow on reload and by the time i press my spacebar im dead, who made this buff

  10. I've been away after about one year, the game is much worse than it was, and it had already become problematic. I've played four battles and there was NO FUN at all, most battles I could not even stay alive for a few seconds, it was so bad. Missiles arriving from everywhere from tanks that cannot even be seen, explosions, no team play at all (that had been a problem also last time I came back). Battle were a total nonsense of people camping and shooting each other at random. This game used to be great, I remember funny battles without drugs many years ago. Where team coordinated, we also used the chat for that, it was so cool, sometimes we went on with re-matches between the same teams on the same map for an hour or more. This happened in regular battles, not Pro mode or anything else. All of that is lost for flying tanks, multi-missiles following a tank, drones and all that crap.

  14. I’ve tried learning Photoshop many times in the past, but I could never quite get the hang of it and eventually gave up. A few months ago I decided to give it another shot but this time putting in real effort to improve. With each new artwork, I’ve learned something different and managed to improve bit by bit. Of course, I still consider myself a beginner compared to the other incredibly talented members of the team, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. To celebrate my promotion, I wanted to make something special - so I created another artwork, which you can find below!

  16. this person just started playing with shaft he had only 5 hours when i checked his porfile now its at 7. yet he is topping all leaderboards every game i see him in. its like he has been playing shaft all this time https://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/whisperfeli i saw him 2 shot a medium hull with full health with just arcade shots as he has his OD active for some time. i think he did 1.5k damg per shot which is what inscope is for but he was only using arcade shots as it was back to back. so i saw it first hand. he is only using brutus and most his kills are from arcade shots, but they are dealing alot more damg than it should his shaft is only mk5 and his gs is 7k in battle and he dosnt even bother changing his prots. either a bug with mk5 shaft or he is hacking. i sadly couldnt record. and no he sucks at juggnaut when he does get it. its all from him mk5 shaft doign extra damage than should be possible. he even killed me with 50% shaft protection i had paladin excelsior and defender and 50% shaft protection but i still died. the hack/bug is that his arcade shot is doing critical damg with his hornet od and its never running out that extra damg you get when you activate it.
