Nope, that was Massacre. -.- Ping-Pong, do you even know what that map is? It's ridiculously crowded with just 6 people in it. EDIT: And this is just an example of the state of our community, with lots of people not knowing what each map is... I'm proud to say that I've played in every single Tanki map. And that I can remember the general layout of around 98-99% of them.

You guys are both useless. The rebalance was a fantastic innovation to the community. Before, gameplay was boring as anyone who wanted to snipe used shaft; anyone who wanted a short-ranged weapon used freeze; anyone who wanted a certain game style had only one choice of weapon. The rebalance changed that, giving all players a choice and making gameplay far more exciting. The rebalance rocked.

I actually love Ping-Pong... should I be ashamed of myself? I think the problem with that was that Mehdadoo didn't make it... and he wouldn't allow anyone else to use his props? I think that was the issue. But it was a bleeding damn good map, I absolutely love it. Come on, surely Silence II (!) is? Actually, I'd say Soli, Osa, 2042, and Barda could also be considered as perfectly-or-almost-perfectly balanced maps, but even so that's just 6. Absolutely, more maps and better maps have to be created, but also current maps need to be updated. Let's take Serp, that's obviously not balanced... surely the routes to the top flag can be ironed out, so that the bottom team has more chance of success? Surely an extra route somewhere, maybe cut the big building in the front of the flag in two and put a route to the flag through there or something? I really like how Tanki have corrected the issues of Bobruisk and improved it into a vastly superior map, hopefully they can do the same with other maps. Well, let's hope the administration make sure maps like that don't win then? I know, but some of the maps there are just really good. :| And they're just left there in the test server, what are the testers looking for in a map? What was wrong with New Kungur/New Tribute? Of course, I don't know, but then I would like it if more maps then could be brought in to continue being tested and approved/rejected. Maps just left in the test server for ages... |: nah.

For me, the maps definitely need fixing, in three ways: 1. Sorting out of mapmaking and bringing in new maps. Tanki have brought out new servers when necessary - surely they have enough server space to include maybe 20 more maps? There are so many different maps out there which are so good - even from just monkeymagic, cheese3000 and Vikingsrall's maps - the ones which I have seen - there are many which would improve tanki, let alone all the other potential mapmakers. 2. Benefits for bringing in old maps. One of the main problems of Tanki is that it is monotonous? Why so? The same maps are played all the time. There are many simple solutions. Add extra crystal box drops in certain maps to boost their popularity would be one, but it's a short-term solution and unlikely to work. Bringing the map down to the lowest ranks worked with Polygon and is working with Serpuhov but I don't really like that too much either. But what about a limit of each map on each server? Say, 5 games of each map on a server? It would mean that some people are unable to play their favourite map, but overall it's for the good of the general community as more maps are played. 3. As cheese mentioned above me, CP needs to be introduced everywhere. Come on. It's been long enough. As people can probably tell due to my articles in the newspaper, I am hugely passionate about maps. I think it's a disgrace how tanki have made a lot of changes elsewhere but in terms of maps they have been stagnant, far more maps need to be introduced and work on maps, improvements and all sorts, are necessary. The fact that madness has yet to be re-introduced, the lack of bonus drops on crash/gallery not being sorted out, the lack of CP in a lot of maps, all of those grate me so bad. Even getting rid of the useless maps to create more space for other newer maps would be good. It's not props that matter, it's layout. And yes, map making is an art. An absolute art. More maps are not a problem, in my mind - there are so many epic ideas around. It's just getting around to introducing them. Where the 'ell is "New Kungur"? Or "New Tribute"? Or "Labyrinth"? "Madness"? "Hangars"? "Gladiator"? They've been in the test server for long enough! #rantover, kool you need to sort out your autocorrect/grammar.

Great video, absolutely no use whatsoever for me but a very good and interesting video nonetheless. How about adding maps unlocked?

I realise that, it was a general point just to say that bad work doesn't necessarily mean an immediate firing. Not that I'm saying Barba does bad work. No, you weren't saying that. You were implying it, and I knew what you're talking about. -

Took quite a while for Barkode's misdemeanors to be revealed, even though he was doing wrong it took him a while to be sacked. Your point is valid, your logic is lacking. -
Are you serious? You claim to be 14+ (due to your membership in http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=174782) yet you can't detect sarcasm?

:o NO WAY! Rewards are distributed unequally! I thought that everyone was give the same amount of crystals, no matter what! This news is a huge revelation to me!

I like to read Fantasy and Sci-fi, as well as non-fiction literature... I'm reading LOTR right now, which is very very good. Probably my favourite series of all time is the Mortal Engines Quartet, absolutely fantastic.

Bruce, hope you get better soon. You're an awesome guy, done a lot for the community!

The film sucks - the book is EEEPPPPIIICCC, but the film is absolutely pathetic.

So are Eris, Makemake, Haumea, Ceres, and a whole host of other objects that rotate around the sun... technically Earth isn't round anyway.

Well, if that is the case the rule (which is a pathetic one and part of the reason why I quit the newspaper, when it started being applied to reporters as well, which is absolute BS, everyone should be allowed to criticise and take criticism. It's pathetically cowardly to ban criticism and discussion of work, IMO.) should be changed, because right now it does not include consultants. The wording does not include consultants. Go change the wording of the rule if that is the case. -
That's not true. Pluto Years (the time it takes for the dwarf planet [NOT A PLANET] to travel around the sun) are different, as are Pluto days (the amount of time it takes the dwarf planet to rotate upon its axis) are different from those times which we have on earth. However, minutes are just subjective, minutes, hours, months and so forth are the same everywhere. I assume you are assuming that a minute is a 1440th of a day (there are 1440 minutes in an earth day) everywhere, but that isn't really a sensible judgement to come to. Nevertheless, the forum works in earth minutes anyway so your argument, even if it were based in fact which it isn't, would be invalid.

IMO: -When the OP says so -When it breaks an explicit rule (something like profanity, hate, etc) -According to a mod's judgement, BUT: When this is the case, the mod has to be open to discussing it and re-opening it if the OP really wants it back open and can give a case why it shouldn't be locked (something like pointless topic, off-topic, already been created, ideas, etc) - it's immensely frustrating when you complain about your topic being locked and the mod simply replies to your PM, deletes it from their box, and stops you being able to reply which has happened to me before. If the mods lock a topic just according to their judgement, they have to be open to it being discussed. -
Loktinho does basketball, somewhere.... plus basketball's a useless sport anyway. :3

Sounds like the majority of the tanki staff then. Are you sure you aren't talking about them?
-
Work, and go on holiday here and there.... might try writing a story too.

Yes! That sounds great! Just as I predicted
