Nah, the knockback makes no difference to the best railguns. Even I could deal with thunder knockback 99% of the time, and I make no claim to being anywhere near the best railgun.

Well you are not a high rank yet. Neither am I, for that matter. But at Third Lieutenant, Railgun is possibly one of the best weapons there is. I personally prefer not to use Railguns if I am captaining a team/clan war. I think it is too weak to survive in those circumstances. In an ordinary battle, it does fine. Just like hornet. I personally think that once someone reaches brigadier they SHOULD have a better weapon (M3 Thunder/Freeze/Ricochet/Shaft: M2s are not as good as an M3 Railgun). I'm not sure how it survives there, though. From my experience as a lower rank solely playing games involving marshals, I see railgun as a weaker weapon that can still hold it's own. The same way I see isida, Twins, and Firebird, to a greater or lesser extent for each. EDIT: Your poll options are messed up. I think that railgun is not competitive, but it is usable. -_____-

Wow, I won't even begin to start to tear that theory apart. IT ISN'T TRUE. Firstly, the only time I've ever got a gold box was when I was down in about 3rd position in the battle. I was the only person for miles when I got the gold box. :roll: Just because you get it once when you are top of the team doesn't men the gold will fall on you. I've been top a lot. I rarely get the gold near me. Secondly, think about how hard the programming would be for that. "Make the box fall when the person top of the game is near". Really? Why not just random? Would make more sense, no? Thirdly, how come gold boxes can fall in 1v1s? Fourthly, why would the Tanki admins do that? Why would they even bother with such a system? Surely random would be fairer? And easier? And more truthful? Fifthly, what evidence do you have of your theory? Apart from that one time when you almost got the gold box whilst being top of your team?

I don't think so. If the time is random, so should the positioning. Otherwise there would be gold campers all the time. -_-

I had the same problem with creating any map. This may be an unrelated issue, but try clearing your flash player cache. That worked for me. I can now create games perfectly ok.

If you guys say you deserve a map, try to win one... although I'm not sure that the clan that lost their latest clan war should say that they are "top english clan".

The russian topic seems to say that it is: 1. The honour 2. A crystal prize whenever you defeat anyone challenging you in an attempt to conquer "your" map. I'm pretty sure that our clans are allowed to compete and attempt to win a map... I'm not sure if I can see that happening yet though.

So the reason you are complaining against the new gold system is because you want more gold and more crystals? Really? Gold is gold. It is not meant to be easy to collect. It is random to fall to make sure that it is not easy to collect. Personally, I also don't like the new gold system, but for completely different reasons. I think that it removed an aspect of gameplay that was unique to tanki - the gold dash for the box. Yes, it was abused in many ways. But at the same time, it was different. And FYI, I'm not saying this because I got loads of golds before: I didn't. In fact, whilst I had seen many golds before, I had never caught one: I didn't have the right skills. Only since the update I have started to get golds. But I still preferred the old way. The adrenalin rush of the gold hunt is something special to tanki.
