Let’s take a closer look at the new stuff! «Crisis» Drone The new «Crisis» drone is able to significantly increase the effect of one supply by disabling the rest of them. When you activate a Double Armour, Double Damage or Speed Boost (you pick up a drop box), the drone switches the gain mode to this supply, and deactivates the other two, additionally instantly reloading them. Meanwhile, the drone uses more supplies than usual, but the effect of the activated one becomes much higher. The «Crisis» drone does not have a reload time, i.e. it’s effect works permanently. It consumes only the supply that the player activates at that moment. You can activate another supply while the effect of the previous one is still on. If you pick up a drop box, the effect of the corresponding supply is extended. You can use the Repair Kit and mines as usual, because the dependent cooldown does not apply to them. Of course, at first you will need to get used to the inability to use all types of supplies at the same time. But with the «Crisis» drone, you can choose what supply you need more at a certain moment, adapting to the current battle mission, whether you are capturing the flag, defending a point or need to quickly destroy an enemy. Effectively you are gaining the maximum benefit from the supply. Generally speaking, the «Crisis» drone is an interesting, but rare thing. It can not be bought neither for crystals, nor for tankoins. You will be able to get it exclusively from ultra containers during different special events. «Adrenaline» Augment The new «Adrenaline» augment increases a turret’s damage in proportion to a decrease in the tank’s health. The more your tank is damaged, the higher your turret’s damage gets. So if you are almost dying, you can still knock out an enemy tank from a turret energized with Adrenaline! The new augment will attract those tankers who prefer the usual gameplay to modified and remade turrets. This new augment gives only additional damage to the turret - the gameplay remains almost unchanged. Every turret has its own “Adrenaline” augment although it needs to be obtained separately for each one. How do you get it? At the moment, you can obtain it from Ultra Containers only. Later you will be able to buy it for crystals in the Garage. Selling skins as a part of the kits After tomorrow’s restart, there will be one more reason to check out the showcase. We will add new kits which, in addition to skins, will include shot effects and augments for the turrets, as well rare or legendary paints for the hulls. The kits are updated every 12 hours. Hello, tankers! A downloadable client of the HTML-5 version of the game is now available on our website! We’ve already said many times, that Flash is a thing of the past. All the main browsers are gradually giving up on it, and already in October 2020, it will not be supported anymore. We really want you to still be able to play “Tanki Online” for many years, that why we’ve created the HTML-5 version of the game. Previously, the HTML5 version was available only in browsers but in parallel with the development of the browser version we were working on the downloadable client. We have already dropped a link to it under one of V-LOG episodes and on the forum a few months ago but haven’t replaced the link on the main page. Due to the worldwide lockdown situation, we had to wait much more time to receive a special certificate to sign the application. That was the reason why we haven’t replaced the link on the main page, but finally, all steps of certification have been left behind and the new HTML5 client is available right on the main page. Many of you have moved to the HTML5 version but others still doubt it. We would like to remind you about two main reasons to move to the new version. First — there is not much time left before the Flash version will be discontinued and you will have to move to the HTML5 version in order to keep playing your favorite game. Second — the HTML5 version has a lot of advantages! Obvious advantages of the HTML5-version: Smoother FPS on powerful PCs and absence of FPS limit for monitors with high screen frequency. A drastic decrease in the number of critical error and “crashes” Modern, practical interface. Awesome visual effects, that were not possible earlier. Unlimited potential for developing new content (including new turrets and hulls). New engine - new features! Download, play and give us your opinion about it in comments. Hey! It was a very hard day for the game, for players, and for the developers team as well. We had restarted our servers 3 times and were offline for few hours. The story started from problems with daily missions. Most of you weren't able to claim your rewards for completing them. We have decided that this problem is critical, prepared a hotfix and released it to the game servers. When the problem was solved, it looked like it is over and it's time to breathe out. However, due to some issues with hardware, one of important components of our game servers infrastructure went offline. Status effects fall into two categories: positive: overdrive readiness; overdrive duration after activation; immunity — ignoring damage after a respawn; repair kit duration; double armour duration; double damage duration; speed boost duration; extra armour (e.g., the «Defender» drone); extra damage (e.g., the «Booster» drone). negative: fire — a tank’s temperature is above normal; freezing — a tank’s temperature is below normal; EMP — stun and supplies force reload; stun — a tank is not able to move (e.g. after Hunter’s OD); self-destruction. Status effects are visible to all players in a battle — for you, your teammates, and your enemies. HTML5: positive effects are displayed above a tank’s health bar, negative — below it. Android: you see status effects of your teammates and enemies only. Flash: status effects are not displayed. Changes of map rank limits in MM This update will affect low ranking players only. The Matchmaking system will consider a player’s rank and choose only maps which are available for the player. You can check which maps are available for your rank on the Wiki.
