Hello, tankers! With tomorrow’s (Mar 20th 02:00 UTC) server restart, a new update will be released. Most of the changes are for the HTML5 version only. We have read all your feedback in the special forum topic and some changes are already being rolled out! Improved camera behaviour in keyboard mode, brightness of lights with disabled graphic settings. Now, graphics settings will work the same way as in HTML5 and Flash. Players, who didn’t want to move to HTML5 due to camera and graphics problems — check it out now! Fixed lights for drop box zones. Returned «Dynamic lights» setting. Visibility of fake spotlight sources (lights for boxes, shots, explosions) depends on this setting. Removed «Soft shadows» setting. If shadows are enabled, they are always soft. Titan’s dome displaying now depends on «Soft particles» setting. Made lights for bushes and trees the same as in Flash. Fixed “Reset all” button in settings. Context menu In this patch, we improved the context menu everywhere. Changes: If you click on a player’s nickname in game stats, you will be able to add this player to your friends list, open the player’s profile or copy the nickname. Alterations of all players will be visible in battle stats. Lobby chat Some players who moved to HTML5 client maybe thought that we dismissed our chat moderators, team but that’s not true. Finally, we have added a special icon for chat moderators, event organizers, administrators and community managers in the chat. Friends and clan mates will also be highlighted. Also: When looking for previous chat messages, the window won’t be scrolled any more when new messages appear. New Alteration - Electromagnetic Salvo Replaces the standard explosive projectile with an EMP projectile that deactivates any active supplies of enemy tanks hit by the electromagnetic salvo. The projectile loses its splash damage effect in normal shooting mode, and damage is reduced while using the electromagnetic accelerator. However, the projectile travels at a higher speed and recharges much faster. New Shot Effect - Violet A shot effect that matches the mean and hard-hitting nature of the Gauss shot, and the bruises it will leave on the enemy's tank. Gauss XT Looks aren't everything. But when it's time for battle, intimidation is always a good tactic. Gauss XT tells your enemies that you mean business, and prepares them for the hard-hitting shots that will surely follow. But nobody force players to complete challenges. They are just additional activity. You can just continue playing as much as you want to and get as more prizes as you play ? Before challenges were added you were just playing and after the update you do same but also get additional prizes for it. I do not understand why you don't like getting additional prizes for doing same as what you did earlier.

Tankers! There’s always something to do in Tanki Online, like punching a hole in your favorite enemy, or freezing them, or burning them, or blowing them up… anyway, you get the picture. So we’ve been thinking about some more fun stuff for you to enjoy, and here’s what we came up with: Special Missions! These missions will appear alongside your Daily, Weekly and Challenge Tasks, under the heading «Special» (we know, pretty creative). For now, you’ll only see a few (the “Rank Up” mission, the “Get Premium” mission, and the “Link Email” mission), as we’re rolling out this feature gradually. Of course, we’ll be adding more missions over time. There are also plans to add special event missions in this section, so that you can track your progress in special events, without needing to visit landing pages. Everything will be in one convenient place. Special Missions will be released in the game with tomorrow’s (28.02.2020) server restart at 02:00 UTC. So make sure you check them out and tell us what you’d like to see. Don’t be shy! IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CLAIMING REWARDS: Once the Special Missions feature is launched, daily Premium rewards and Rank Up mission rewards will be moved to the Special Missions section and you will need to claim them manually from there.
