thanks for the feedback :) its actually only 8 'squares' longer than Silence and 2 wider! I agree it could be looked upon as a new map, however, i have tried to incorporate as many of the original 'silence' features that we all like, whilst creating an updated version. for example; many of the old sniping places are still there in the new version and there are only 2 ways to get to the blue flag and 3 to the red - same as the old versions :)

its not just tanki its all games. also if more people had faster computers/better interweb tanki would be able to introduce better graphics and better maps. its people that have noob puters that slow the game down for everyone else :)

yes! this is my point. previously you was lucky to get one a month. now 4 a week? tanki must need the money! perhaps its because many huge buyers have stopped playing and therefore stopped buying? just a thought :D

There have been some good updates lately; the new graphics, improved forum and the lighting! Also the cyber channel and the English press release have been well received. Whilst these updates have been welcomed and appreciated, they are still only cosmetic changes to the game. The control point variant; ushered in with much fanfare and an equal amount of hype and promotion, sadly came and went within a short space of time. One of the improvements to the game outlined for the now defunct 'tanki 2' project was the more integrated game play and social networking ability of clans and clan games. As I understand, the main features were the ability of clans to create real clan battles, that consisted of only the clan members being allowed to enter the games and that the system would recognize that only members from the clans 'hosting' the game would be allowed to enter the battles. Of course this would require an integration of the social networking side of the game (the forum) with the mechanics of the game creation and hosting side of the game itself. The introduction of a centralised, team based platform would have a great impact on the game. It would truly focus the game, going forward as a team based MMPG, rather than the individualistic game we see today. Imagine being part of a clan and instead of looking for games for yourself there are games in the server of a whole clan waiting to play against another clan. Imagine you host the game and you send out the challenge to another clan and its accepted. No more mults can join, no more random hackers, only players that have previously joined the clans that will battle! If this update was ever implemented, it would change the game forever. Everyone would be in a clan. Clans wouldn't be elitist. As I said at the start, this update was going to be a part of the T2 release. It was a part of the release that I was looking forward to most of all. Not the pretty graphics or the fan-dangled new game modes, but an update that would make this great game into a truly interactive team game, bringing it up to date with most other MMPG's! I can only hope that this update is somewhere in the planning and that its implemented soon. So what are your thoughts on this and what updates would you like to see in the future? Cheers, MM

It would be easy to keep track. all admin needs to do is make an excel spreedsheet like here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApJ78U-5pSBYdDF1T1FFeTBGY1B2bUp1QlZIVjVqT3c#gid=0. admin can make it editable only by them. the link can be viewed by all. if a player tries to enter a game in the same week he should be banned for the next week. simple! we have a lot of admin now, so not really a lot of work to enter the names of players into a spreadsheet every day. actually there would be benefits that admin can keep a track of who won cristals. also people will be less likely to quit a game after 10 mins if its their only game that week! as for the person moaning i dont play wolf battles- i have played in around 20 wolf games!

what would be fair is that when a player is in the winning battle he cant play in another wolf battle in the same week (obviously not for DM). if it was up to me i would go further and limit it to one game per week for each player, win or lose. this would mean many more players would get a chance to play, and a fairer distribution of the funds.

massive lags is main issue at the moment. agree the new tanks are not nice 'toy tanks'. maps look good! but the maps look like they are from a different game - the tanks dont look like they belong in the maps. like they were imported from another game.

i see the usual people still getting in the battle before the links posted......
