I don't play with Vulcan, but to me it doesn't seem like a good close range turret at all. Whenever I faced one in close range, I always won, with any turret. I mean, the barrel warm-up time, the slow rotation, the low damage - it all makes Vulcan significantly inferior in close range. The only way you can be effective in close range with it is if you use supplies a lot and others don't. 13* :P

valid Don't reset the votes when a mult/hacker refreshes

Valid More like a bug report, rather than an idea. This is just something developers overlooked. -
As with anything crystal related - economic balance. I don't know why they did it exactly, but it's probably to do with the fact that if choosing rewards was possible, players would choose crystals all the time and then use those crystals to buy the 100 supply kit with a 50% sale. So it's indirectly an idea to reduce the price of supplies.

Moved from I&S Most likely because you are at a clan rank, which allows you to check the incoming requests for membership. That icon appears whenever there's a new request you haven't checked yet.

Topic merged Unlikely. There's a specific reason why crystal and supply rewards have a certain chance of coming up.

Just because it's planned, doesn't mean it will be implemented soon. In fact, many things that are "planned" never even make it to the game.

You can do the same thing, but with Isida. That way you can capture points and also heal people. Gonna be pretty easy to get even first place with 0 kills.

Frost paint. Totally worth it! ....not

Info about the score system can be found in small bits on a few different pages on the Wiki, for example here, but I'll try to get the editors to make a page that's exclusively dedicated to score and experience.

I can list a few for a start: Allows you to see whether or not the enemy has double armour active when you shoot them from a distance (where the indicators are too far to see) Allows users of short range weapons to see how effective they are at damaging the enemy at their current distance Allows Smoky and Thunder users to see that their shots deal very little damage at large distances despite having the same size explosion Allows Shaft users to see how they need to finish off the enemy they damaged. E.g. if they shot a viking, dealt 2980 damage and didn't kill them, then it's obvious that a quick arcade shot will finish them off and there's no need to do another full charge. Allows Railgun users to estimate whether the enemy will die in 2 or 3 shots.

That's a scam, just like any "offer" or "working cheat" that you'll see anywhere else. No one just goes around and gives out free stuff, so don't fall for it.

No, you don't get damage points. But if the enemy you were shooting then gets killed within 10 seconds, you get the assist points.

Facing the hard truth : Coping with Mults, Sabotage and Cheaters

Lag is only punishable in official eSports tournaments. It's not a violation in standard games. The /vote feature should be used for sabotage and hackers. http://tankionline.com/en/rules/ ^ Read the points in part 2.1 to see which gameplay actions are punishable with a ban from the game. -

No, it was simply testing different aspects of the system. In particular, the main thing that was being tested was the servers' ability to withstand the load of the system sorting people into battles without crashing. And that was a success. -
OK guys, please stop this discussion about spending money on golds. It's not your money and therefore it's not your business how that money is spent.

The test that happened a couple weeks ago was NOT matchmaking. It was merely a test to see how quickly and effectively the system creates battles and puts players into it. The final result should be a lot more accurate with balancing the teams. -
Only if the enemy you were shooting gets finished off by your teammate within 10 seconds since the last time you damaged them. If that happens, then you and your teammate will share 15 points between you based on the % of damage each of you dealt.

You got a bit unlucky with the scoring mechanism. You see, you only get scores for flags if the flag you carried actually got captured. You won't get points if you take a flag that then gets returned by the enemy. If you took the flag and someone else captured it, they get 50% of the points while you can get from 20% to 50%. Also, for killing the enemy flag carrier you do get extra points, but it's only double that of a normal kill, so 20 points instead of 10. If you did that 3 times, it's the same as getting 3 extra normal kills. 8 kills in one game isn't that much, so assuming you got 80 points for the kills, 30 for the flag kills and 50 for the capture, that's only 160 total points in the whole game, which is a rather low amount and thus grants you a low reward. What was the overall battle fund, where were you on the score table and how much score did your best teammates have?

Matchmaking will solve this problem in standard battles, while custom battles might get a kick system to help battle violators. -
Read the post carefully. I said that before the MUs update, so 5/50 is equivalent to today's 1/10 :P

The anti-cheat keeps evolving to block current types of hacks and hackers keep evolving to produce new hacks that bypass the anti-cheat system. It's a never-ending battle. There is no single update that developers can implement to forever block all hackers. It simply doesn't work that way. -
Well, yeah. When you rotate your turret, the camera rotates with it. So in this kind of "spectator mode" that's how you rotate the camera without mouse controls.
