The main course better be removal of the daily missions update. And then later you bring it back again saying "Ha, April fools!"

valid Lifting up camera tilts it excatly above your tank

Valid [ctrl] [imprv] This is really not that important. I don't see any reason why you would need to have it directly above your tank and not a little bit lower. -
Relevant comment = anything with sensible feedback about the update. So even things like "bad update" and "pls remove this" are considered relevant, while we particularly value comments that describe why you don't like this update, what's bad about it and what needs to be done to fix it (preferably not just "remove update").

The price for M3 MUs did not change, so yes - they are not cheaper. For lower modifications each individual step may have become more expensive, but the overall upgrading price (without speed-ups) is now 2x cheaper.

Please discuss the update in the official topic. Separate topics and polls like these are pointless as they will not be seen or considered by developers. Closed.

Every single relevant comment is seen by moderators and the community manager. All the feedback is then passed on to developers.

You can use the topic Let's Discuss Equipment Combos to talk about which items go best together, while all the topics in this sub-forum have a poll, where players voted which items goes best with that turret/hull. Closed.

Wrong. The system was broken, because it could be abused to get large rewards with barely any effort.

There's a rather simple solution to all this. Just add another type of battle that's only partially customisable, where missions would count. Let's call it "Enthusiast" battles, which would be possible to create if you have an "Enthusiast pass" for half the price of the PRO pass (which I will call "Professional pass", for consistency). So, you'd be able to create the battle, select the map (only from a number of large ones (so no Islands or Duels) select the format, disable supplies and that's it. No crazy settings like 1 flag limit, so fully abuse-proof.[/background] So what we end up with is a slightly more complicated, but a totally fair system: "Standard" battles: Free to enter Created by the server when players press the Battle! button. Cannot be created manually Standard battle settings, no customisation Can be entered via the Battle! button Daily missions count "Enthusiast" battles Entry for owners of the "Enthusiast pass" or "Professional pass", which costs, say, 2500 crystals for Legends. Can be manually created by owners of either pass Standard length (15 min) Supplies can be disabled Format can be selected (probably with exception of parkour mode) No other settings - no custom number of players/flags/kills/points/time, no private battle option, etc. Can be entered via the Battle! button, but only for Enthusiast battles that have settings identical to Standard battles. Daily missions count "Professional" battles (currently named "PRO") Entry for owners of the "Professional pass", which costs 5000 for Legends. Can be manually created by owners of the Professional pass Fully customisable settings, just like PRO battles now Cannot be entered via the Battle! button Daily missions do NOT count. A lot of online services use this kind of system, where you get the very basics for free, but more expensive subscriptions give you advanced options, so this isn't something crazy and purely experimental. This would completely eliminate the problem of not being able to do missions in battles you like (XP/BP, no supplies, etc.).

At this point I'm pretty sure devs will do something about the missions. Either revert it back to how it was or do something different to compensate. I mean, this update clearly caused an outrage!
-
M$ players can do the exact same things - use supplies, equip modules and heal with Isidas. Your argument is invalid.
-
I don't like the update. I'm just trying to explain developers' reasoning behind it to those, who think this was done randomly to force players to drug more.
-
Oh really? Would you like to get your Titan Firebird M0 and come into a battle against my Viking Hammer M4 to show me how much you enjoy getting killed over and over as soon as you spawn? It's legal, but it shouldn't be encouraged. If players end up in battles against much stronger opponents, they end up getting frustrated and quit the game. And that isn't in any way good. PRECISELY!!! Now you're getting it! ;)
-
Yes, but have you played against M4 tanks with M0 equipment and no supplies? I strongly recommend you try that and THEN think about what you're suggesting here. You want others to suffer while you have a good time. That's not how online multiplayer games work, mate. This update already affects M3+ equipment.
-
That's all of them. You want daily missions to be gone completely? It's not a "noob 10%", it's a rather large amount of crystals that you would otherwise only get from many hours of normal battle rewards. And if you find that mission too hard to complete - just change it. Not much of a difference. Like I said - 5000 crystals in 3 minutes is too much reward for the amount of effort it required. I'm not sure if they were even looking for the solution this whole time. They probably just closed their eyes on the problem at first and thought "ah, whatever - let them exploit it", but after the battle creation system was changed they suddenly realised that they can change missions to make them work the way it was originally intended. You have three options: You don't. You change that mission and get an easier one. You save up supplies and use them to complete the mission You buy supplies with real money and become an "M4 drugger". You keep playing games and hope that one of them won't have any hardcore druggers. Also don't forget that you can complete that mission by being first in the losing team too, and it's quite easy to get first place especially when most players on your team leave.
-
Most* The only proper missions were kills and exp. But even those could be farmed in a private battle via power-levelling, while in normal battles you can't do that so easily.
-
They didn't penalise players. Heck, they INCREASED the rewards by 10%. They just made it so that missions have to be completed in proper battles, rather than "farmed" in PRO 1v1s. If the system was introduced like this originally, there wouldn't be any complaints. So you can consider the fact that we could cheat the system as a "privilege" that developers gave up, but they are now removing it because it ruined the missions feature. It was fun while it lasted. Let's get over it and move on.
-
Which, as you may guess, is bad for the game.
-
Nope, it would be 19. Remember - any non-exact value is rounded up.
-
The system wasn't working correctly. The missions were so easy that devs could have just brought back daily gifts instead. Not to mention that the rewards were too OP for the amount of effort that was required. Seriously, if you got a mission for 3 flags, 3 first places and 10 boxes, you could earn over 5000 crystals in less than 3 minutes of playing time. This update does make our life far less convenient - that I can't disagree with. But it was necessary to make Daily Missions what they were originally meant to be.
-
Yes: you're wrong. The MU steps are converted proportionally, so instead of 7/50 you will get 3/20. The way to calculate is: [current step #] / 50 x 20 And round up the number you get, so for you: 7/50x20=2.8, which rounds to 3.
-
It was pretty major. Enough people were doing it to a point where it made daily missions pointless. So this update turns "missions" into actual missions that are challenging to complete, but also give a worthwhile reward. Because right now for most players daily missions are just easy money.
