Railgun is by far the most popular gun in Tanki, as well as the official gun of eSports (Smoky being secondary). It's simply beneficial for developers to release more items with railgun as they will sell better. Although I do agree that all guns should be equally popular.

The anti-hacking software is constantly being updated, but it's impossible to create a system that blocks every single cheating program out there. Spectator mode for everyone!!!! OK, I discovered the most amazing camera setting we could ever imagine. Enter game. Press Ctrl+Shift+K Type vars.set cam_maxmove 0 Press Enter Enjoy spectator mode ;) For best results in battle go to a high area, put your camera in the highest position above your tank using Q and then put in the command. The results are amazing! Or you can set it to 0.1 or 0.5 and have a camera that slowly follows your tank as you go :) See this topic for more info.

If there is a large gap between upgrades, then it is wise to MU your equipment a bit, but make sure you don't waste too many crystals on it. Unless your equipment is M3, you shouldn't do more than 50% of the Micro Upgrades (i.e. 12/25 steps) because after that the bonus you get from upgrading one step is a lot smaller, while the price is huge. If you have crystals to spare and want to try something new, then you can consider buying a new turret or hull. If you have any more questions like this, ask them in the topic What to buy? Gold boxes are a random, non-essential part of gameplay. You should enter battles with the aim of winning, while catching gold boxes should be your secondary goal. Your idea won't work because two friends can just enter a battle together and wait for gold boxes to drop every 15 minutes, thus farming crystals. Idea rejected. Closed.

By the way, there's a much simpler way to measure the size of the gold box: All maps are made up of squares called "props". Each square is 5 by 5 metres long and you can clearly see on the image above that the bridge is made up of 2-prop sections. From the picture you can see that the gold box is about 1/3 of the length of the prop, therefore the gold box is 4.63 cubic metres. The width of the box is 1.67 metres, not 0.65 Err, no. The weight units are simply relative units used in coding the game. They have no reference to real life units. You make too many assumptions. If you really want to find the damage done to the tank, you need to calculate the momentum of the falling box and find out the resistance of steel plates used on tanks to see what kind of damage they can put up with. Unless you have that, any conclusions will be unreliable. You could go a step further and try and calculate the actual weight of the Gold Box (what if it's partially hollow?!) by using the speed of its decent and the area of the parachute. The Gold Box falls at constant speed, i.e. at terminal velocity, so you could find the upward air resistance from the area of the box and parachute and use the answer to find out the weight of the box using the formula F=ma and other SUVAT equations.

ERMAHGERD, just accept the fact that Tanki Physics are different from real life physics. In Tanki gold is weightless and so are tanks, while energy and momentum are created from thin air. :D Interesting article though.

Yes, such actions are referred to as sabotage, or more commonly - "multing". Players do this just for fun or to help their friends in the opposite team win with an unfair advantage. This is a serious violation of the rules and if you see somebody doing it, you can use the command /vote [nickname] to complain or record a video and post it in the Game Violators section. It appears to happen randomly in certain places when jumping from a high platform to the bottom and yes - it is because of the anti-cheat system. The only way to fix it is by improving your internet connection, but otherwise we just need to wait for this issue to be fixed. Closed.
