By the way, there's a much simpler way to measure the size of the gold box: All maps are made up of squares called "props". Each square is 5 by 5 metres long and you can clearly see on the image above that the bridge is made up of 2-prop sections. From the picture you can see that the gold box is about 1/3 of the length of the prop, therefore the gold box is 4.63 cubic metres. The width of the box is 1.67 metres, not 0.65 Err, no. The weight units are simply relative units used in coding the game. They have no reference to real life units. You make too many assumptions. If you really want to find the damage done to the tank, you need to calculate the momentum of the falling box and find out the resistance of steel plates used on tanks to see what kind of damage they can put up with. Unless you have that, any conclusions will be unreliable. You could go a step further and try and calculate the actual weight of the Gold Box (what if it's partially hollow?!) by using the speed of its decent and the area of the parachute. The Gold Box falls at constant speed, i.e. at terminal velocity, so you could find the upward air resistance from the area of the box and parachute and use the answer to find out the weight of the box using the formula F=ma and other SUVAT equations.

ERMAHGERD, just accept the fact that Tanki Physics are different from real life physics. In Tanki gold is weightless and so are tanks, while energy and momentum are created from thin air. :D Interesting article though.

Yes, such actions are referred to as sabotage, or more commonly - "multing". Players do this just for fun or to help their friends in the opposite team win with an unfair advantage. This is a serious violation of the rules and if you see somebody doing it, you can use the command /vote [nickname] to complain or record a video and post it in the Game Violators section. It appears to happen randomly in certain places when jumping from a high platform to the bottom and yes - it is because of the anti-cheat system. The only way to fix it is by improving your internet connection, but otherwise we just need to wait for this issue to be fixed. Closed.

I see nothing bad in this update. The only disadvantage is that people might go around asking others to help them do the missions in a form of "no kill pls i need 3 mor repar kitz!", but I think the advantages greatly outweigh the disadvantages: Players will be more social - they will be encouraged to make friends to help each other do the missions There will no longer be drugging alts due to players playing on one account and simply collecting rewards on another. The game becomes more diverse and gives players something new to experiment with. You will be able to get more reward every day compared to the daily bonus = makes buyers less OP Encourages players to try out rare maps and game modes they haven't tried before. I'm OK with having a few occasional "mission mults" here and there in return for the missions!

So, this happened. The Viking underneath me found the gold mark first and parked on top of it. I come up to it afterwards and after realising that I can't push him off I just climb on top of him and... the gold goes to me! Is this some sort of error or was his ping higher than mine, meaning that the game detected by contact with the gold box before his?

I wanted to do it for a while. First of all removing the random numbers and second - "Mafioza" isn't an actual word and people only mistook me for a girl because of it.

It's a problem without a solution. People will be people and you can't spend 10 minutes in every battle teaching them how to behave via chat, because then you will be sabotaging your team. If they consistently stop you from capturing the flag after you didn't let them capture "their" flag, then you can record a video and report it in the Game Violators section. Otherwise you just have to bear with it and wait for them to learn to behave. It doesn't happen as often on high ranks because players learn how to act.

Yes, it is true. I think it's the only map with just one gold drop spot.

Because hiding from enemies and waiting for gold boxes to drop is exactly what people did in battles instead of playing and why houses were made inaccessible. Parkour in battle is a form of sabotage and needs to be removed. Guessing or you have evidence? From my observations it does not fall in the centre, but there are two spots on the main bridge to either side of it.

Fun fact: A player by the name of set himself and experiment in March 2012 for completing the game (going from recruit to marshal) without destroying a single tank. He did it by playing CTF matches and capturing flags until he managed to unlock Isida, which he then used to only heal other players and capture flags. He got to the rank of Captain in one month and killed only 1 or 2 tanks by accident. You can read all about him in this topic (it's in Russian). It's crazy that you can complete a game about killing others without actually killing anyone :)
