Help in battle? Really?

Railgun is a powerful weapon that deals a lot of damage with every shot, however it has its disadvantages. When you face a railgun in battle, you need to use a specific tactic to beat them. The most common one is to wait for them to start shooting (the barrel lights up) and just before they shoot, you shoot them in the corner of their hull and if they have a medium/light hull the knockback from your shot should rotate their hull enough for them to miss. Then you just use their defenseless position during the long reload and finish them off. Since you are a buyer, I would recommend focusing on micro-upgrading the "punch" and "reload" parameters of Thunder so that you can rotate their tank more and reload in time. Also consider buying a paint with good protection from Railgun - Tundra, Sandstone, Digital, Prodigy...

It's just a glitch, so that's not a valid record.

Isida hasn't changed THAT much due to the recent updates, so it's still best to use it with a light hull so that you can be agile, moving fast between teammates and getting there in time to heal them before they get killed. When playing with Isida your fuel tank mustn't ever be full (you should always be using it), but if you are using a slow hull you'll take too long to get to places, hence you won't get that high of a score. You can ask more questions about Isida in the topic Let's discuss Isida Closed.

Don't MU equipment any more than 5-7 steps for each parameter, otherwise it becomes a total waste. Micro-upgrading equipment completely is worth it only if you have and M3 M3 tank with a good paint, otherwise you'll end up with a fully MU'd low grade tank and you won't have enough crystals for the next upgrade. Remember - an M1 with full MU's is still worse than a default M2.

I find it quite entertaining how all three communities have different initial videos, but they all lead to the same answer... That's a very nice 200th page you have here. It would be a shame if someone were to.... TAKE IT?

Don't tell anyone that I gave you the idea :P

So it's totally possible then to play with one account in the battle and have your spectator account on that map in spectator mode and when you hear the siren you check the spectator, see the gold box drop spot and go there directly with your account in battle

Try wasp+isida on Monte-Carlo. It's a nightmare ._.

Nice topic! Very useful indeed. Do you happen to be able to see the possible gold box drop locations? I would like to continue adding them to a topic I started (which is quite similar to yours).

Every gun has it's advantages and special abilities. Great knockback and ability to hit multiple targets in a row are Railguns unique features. Yes, you can't knock over your opponents with Freeze or Isida, but in the same way you don't freeze your opponent or get self-healed when you use Railgun. The overturning problem isn't being ignored though - the developers are, apparently, working on improving the physics in the game to reduce the moment caused by a hit to your turret.

It might happen in the 23rd of February or on the 8th of March. I'm 95% sure there will be major hull discounts on the 9th of May. There are also occasional random sales on individual items announced on normal days, but it's completely up to the developers to decide when they want to do a sale and they will never tell you the exact date in advance. Here are some screenshots of what the gold box looks like: And the crystal boxes:
-
The gold box is a box that falls from the sky with a parachute (like all other supplies), but it does so very rarely - the probability of it dropping is 1/7000 for every crystal added to the battle fund. It looks like a supply box, but looks golden, has rounded corners and 1000 written on it. Before it drops you'll hear a siren and the text "The gold box will be dropped soon" appears. After that you have 20 seconds to find the sign on the ground that shows you where the gold will drop, which can be in many places on the map (even on the bases). The gold box will drop, everyone will rush to the spot and a lucky player will catch the box. I saw this good example to help you understand this in another topic: Every time the battle fund increases by 1 crystal, it's as if a roulette has been spun with 7000 slots, one of which makes the gold box drop. So if you capture a flag and 10 crystals are added to the fund, the battle had a 10/7000 chance of a gold box dropping. Since the battle fund increases faster in battles with higher ranks, the gold box will drop more often, so you'll see those boxes more and more as you progress through the ranks. There is no specific fund at which the gold box falls more often, since it's a random chance. In theory you should have one gold box for every 7000 crystals of battle fund, but in reality I've seen 3 gold boxes fall in 5 minutes when the fund was below 500 or no boxes at all when the fund was 30000. The gold box can even fall after the battle ends in which case no-one will get it :( You can read all about the gold box on this wiki page The crystal boxes used to be in the game for a very long time. They were basically small bonuses that dropped on the map like supply boxes and when picked up they added 10 crystals to your account. They were removed because people would sabotage the battle by riding around collecting the boxes and not helping their team.

you just highlight the text with your mouse, then select a Font/Size/colour and other edits that you want on the text http://tnkscr.net/jqf6Ih.png these are the Font - Size - Colour tools http://tnkscr.net/PCdsxE.png these are the Bold - Italics - Underline - Strike Through - Subscript - Superscript The yellow text uses yellow colour and underline

If it's an enemy tank that does this to you, then it's perfectly fine. If it's a teammate that does this to you on purpose over and over, then it's definitely sabotage. To get them punished you can either use the /vote [nickname] command or record a video (at least 5 minutes of that player showing actions of sabotage) and post it in the Game Violators section. How many of you have kept the same user name from the start ?

My first account was this one - . "mafioza" was taken, so I added 121 for no reason, don't ask me how I came up with those particular numbers :P Then I created an alternative account called @the_killer_qwerty, i.e. a "qwerty" that kills everyone, but it looks like I just called myself "the_killer" and added "qwerty" because "the_killer" was taken, so that one's also lame. My third account is @MAFFIOZA with the double F to make it original (Idea taken from @Negativve). The remaining two are fairly recent - MAFI0ZA and hOt_pOtAtOs, named like that because I can. :D
