Let's not discuss if or why he posted those links. You can do that via PM.

With Hornet m2 as your current main hull, I'd immediately suggest to choose Railgun. Though, since you're not sure if you'd like to play XP-battles, some other weapon(s) might be a better choice. Vulcan isn't a good option at all. You shouldn't put it on a light hull to be really effective. Now we've got Thunder, Hammer, Ricochet which are all great weapons, though completely different. Therefore it's great you already gave some information the maps you most commonly play in. Your main maps are all medium maps I see. Sandbox might be a bit smaller, though it's not a real small map at all. With Hornet as your main hull, I'd not play with Thunder in Silence. You need some more protection in that map when using Thunder as the map is rather crowded and with the rather slow reload time of Thunder, some extra protection comes in handy. Hornet Thunder is good in Sandbox and Rio for me. If you wisely use the splash damage, Thunder can be a real threat, but this splash damage can be a real disadvantage especially when going for a flag while all your opponents are pushing you due which you'll hit yourself while firing. It's range is a real advantage because you can hit players who're at the completely other side of the map which is often useful in Rio. Moving on to Hornet Hammer, I'd also say you need some extra protection. You need to come quite close to your opponents in order to deal the maximum of damage due to the spread of the cones. After 3 fast shots, it takes quite some time to reload which makes you vulnerable, especially in Silence and Rio, at least that's what I'm experiencing. :p I personally think Ricochet m2 is the best choice. It quickly deals a lot of damage due which you can win most 1 on 1 fights against players with the same type of hull of course. Heavy hull versus light hull 1 on 1 is always a bit unfair. The ricocheting effect of the 'bullets' is a big advantage which you must use wisely. It's really useful in Silence and Rio, not really that useful in Sandbox though. I think both turrets are great in the maps you've mentioned. I might have a slight preference for Firebird as you can burn several opponents at once which is often greatly useful in Noise (all battle modes) and Polygon CP. I'd go for Hunter. It's slower than Hornet, though it has a nice speed. The extra armor really comes in handy in Polygon CP and when using Isida (if that's what you mean by medic), because your enemies will, if they're smart, try to take you out first. Since you already have a light hull, Hunter m1 will be the better choice as I also mentioned below another quote of yours. My preference goes to Isida. Both weapons are good at both defending and attacking. Freeze is a bit better in defending because of the freezing effect, but an Isida in defense works also really well. Isida is better at attacking. You can heal team mates while they try to grab the flag or you can attack on your own. Thanks to the self-healing mechanism, you've got better chances to escape with the flag as you stay alive longer. If you mostly play Death Matches, I'd go for Freeze. It's better there than Isida. Ricochet. Smoky is good in Polyon and Noise, but really not recommendable in small maps like Island and Hill. Ricochet works well in all 4 of them. What maps do you mostly play in? What hulls do you already have m1?

It's sad to see him leaving. I've had very interesting conversations with him. He lives in the same country as me, though we speak different languages. I got to know him very well and I'm pretty sure it wasn't him posting those links. He is one of those people I'd really miss when they leave and unfortunately, that day has arrived. Best of luck in real life, my friend. May the odds be ever in your favor!

That's ridiculous to me. It's their anti-cheat system that doesn't work properly.

Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)
falcosenna1 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
Please, adjust the system again or, preferably, remove it. This is ridiculous. When we got 100 kills, the timer showed 8:31, meaning that we only played 6 minutes and 29 seconds. This update is just spoiling players' chances of getting a decent amount of crystals in a normal non-Pro battles. Like a lot of other players, I'd like to see it removed completely. Normal battles ain't broken, so didn't need to be fixed. There must be some other way to achieve a solution for the problem that 'forced' you to implement this update. -
Please don't ruin the game. 24

I guess you mean me? :p Yes oli337?

We unfortunately don't know. The developers decide it.

That depends on the number of decent entries. All entries worth to be rewarded according to the judges, will be rewarded.

The author confirmed that he doesn't want to host this game anymore. Therefore it's getting closed.

That's a more difficult question. Twins is a close-to-medium turret while Ricochet is a medium turret. Overall, I think Ricochet is more fun to play with, though compared with Titan you'll most probably only use it to defend the base besides DMs (and Polyon CP :p). In DM, both are about equal to me. As for defending a flag I've got a slight preference for Twins because of the unlimited ammo which often comes in handy. What maps do you mostly play in and what game modes do you most commonly play? (I might answer this one tomorrow as I almost have to go.)

I'd go for Titan. Even though it has less protection than Mammoth, its protection is still great! The extra speed, manoeuvrability and pushing power are decisive for me. :p
-
It's good when there's only one control points in my opinion, because then you can deal damage to multiple opponents with just one shot. It's extremely good with double damage on. Though, if you want to capture the point yourself, there are better weapons than Thunder. :p

Run to format battles?! :o I prefer them over normal battles. :p

Who do you mean by 'noob devs'? The actual developers or the staff?

Enough reason for me to keep my Windows 7. :p
