If you really want to choose between the two options you mentioned, I'd go for the first one because buying a cheap paint is just a waste of crystals. What I'd personally do is buying Hammer m3 and spend the remaining crystals on MUs. I'd go for Hammer.

I think Tiger is a great paint qua price-quality. What about Nano instead? It's indeed a 'bit' more expensive, but you've got Ricochet and Firebird protection instead of Railgun protection. Prodigi is a great paint as Railguns are commonly used and you'll need 3 shots to get killed with Prodigi on. I think I'd go for Siberian if I had to choose between the two given options. I don't like to play with Dictator. It's to clumsy. Vulcan is a rather boring weapon, though very powerful with an annoying impact force. Freeze is more fun to play with and its m2 is very powerful at your rank. Tundra isn't too expensive and offers a nice protection from Railgun which seemingly is a real threat at your rank. I always suggest to try to wait as long as possible with buying paints, though Tundra is rather cheap and some Railgun protection really comes in handy. If you buy Siberian, you can start saving up crystals for Hunter m2.

I'd choose option 4 I think, but that's completely personally. Option 3 is out of the question as you don't have an m3 hull then. Twins would be a great option, though it's rather boring to play with in my opinion. You must just keep pressing space bar. Nevertheless it's very powerful at close distance and the fact it's never out of ammo is a real advantage. It works well in most maps you've mentioned, though Thunder is better in Madness, Kungur and Serpuhov and is more fun to play with in general. Isida would also be a nice option and is certainly indispensable in team battles. Though, I don't recommend you joining a DM with it unless you fully micro-upgrade it. Madness is also out of the question and I think Thunder is slightly better in Kungur, Serpuhov and Rio. In Polygon DM, Thunder is better. In Polygon TDM and CTF, they're about equal, but in Polyon CP, Isida has my preference. Hill and Island aren't great maps for Thunder. Twins and Isida are way better in here. Thunder is very powerful, but it's reload time is a little disadvantage. You can indeed micro-upgrade it, but it's very expensive. If used wisely, especially the splash damage, Thunder is a real threat. It's good in medium and large maps, but don't join a small map with it. It's a really hard choice you have to make. I've just given my preference and some of my thoughts, but I don't want to make your choice. Take all recommendations into account in order to make the right decision. 40% is a great discount. Thunder with Viking is a very powerful and fun combo to play with. I often use it. And you've got the advantage of having Viking m3 before it actually unlocks. Though Emerald doesn't really convince me. I've got it in my garage and I've left it untouched for about 8 months now. It's not a bad paint, but it only protects from 2 turrets actually, Twins and Thunder. The Railgun protection isn't high enough for me. Nevertheless, I think it's worth buying it. What other paints do you already have? Since you mostly play in Island and Polygon, I'd say Viking with Freeze. If you love Smoky and you've got enough crystals, why not. What other equipment do you already have? What maps do you mostly play in? Yeah, I think it's worth it. Ricochet is a real medium range turret and Vulcan a large range turret. Since Twins is more close to close-to-medium range turret, it's worth it. And it's very powerful. What about an m2 medium hull? Both Hunter and Viking are great. You definitely need a medium hull, so I'd already eliminate the third option. Now we've got the choice between Freeze and Isida. I think it's a matter of preference. Both weapons can help defending, both weapons are also useful a attacking. I personally prefer Isida in team battles as you can heal your team mates and thanks to the self-healing mechanism, you've got better chances to grab the flag or to capture a control point. Though, in Death Matches, Freeze is way better. With m2 Hornet as your hull, I'd go for Railgun if I were you. Ricochet one a light hull doesn't work well for me. Thunder on a light hull already has a chance, though I prefer it on a medium hull. Railgun just needs to be put on a light hull. I's weapon that needs a fast hull and both medium and heavy hulls lack speed for Railgun. We don't know when the Prometheus kit will come back. It might be on at the sale and you shouldn't doubt buying it then. If there's a sale of at least 40%, you can buy Hunter and Firebird separately. and if you manage to rank up, you can even get Zeus. Wait for the percentage of the sale to decide what to do. In Iran, I actually think Thunder is better than Railgun. As for the paint, try to wait a few more ranks. Rustle and Hohloma are the first paints worth buying in my opinion. Well, maybe Spark is the first one.
