What to buy? Which is better?

If you already have a long range turret, it's better to go for another type of turret like Firebird which is an excellent, powerful close range turret.

    The new tanki

Developers are currently working on the Unity version of the game. So far we unfortunately don't know much about it. "I just want to draw your attention to one thing, guys. As Hazel said, it hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not. It's too early to tell. It will all depend on the economical system of the new game. And it's still being developed by Hazel and other game designers. When it is finished, rest assured we'll announce it in the forums and video blogs. Guys, let me make one thing very clear — NOBODY intends to spit into players' faces. It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players. You guys helped Tanki get to where it is today, so we will not let you down. Rest assured." ~ Semyon posted this about 2 months ago in this topic. Currently TO has added a special theme in the weekly V-LOGs. Every week, they'll give us more information on the upcoming Unity version. So, every Friday, we'll get to know more about it. You can discuss it in the official topic of the V-LOG (episode 57), in TO Unity Database or in P&F (TankiOnline) in development to Unity. There's no need for another topic to discuss this. By the way, don't trust all rumors that are going around. All reliable information will be given in the next V-LOGs. Closed

What to buy? Which is better?

Smoky loses more power than Thunder. At least that's what I'm experiencing.
  7. I've played some great XP-battles with other staff players and I can tell you they are though enemies. :D

What to buy? Which is better?

Titan, Railgun and Clay: You're missing a heavy hull and long range turret. I prefer Titan instead of Mammoth because of the extra speed and pushing power. Clay is just a must have in my opinion. It's often very useful. Ricochet, Dictator and Zeus: Since I chose Titan already, Mammoth isn't needed anymore. Therefore I'd go for an extra medium hull with some extra protection. You already own a close-to-medium range weapon, namely Hammer, therefore I'd go for a real medium weapon like Ricochet. Hammer loses a lot of power the bigger the range due to the spread of its cones. Zeus is just a great paint with awesome protection. Though, I prefer Lumberjack instead because of the protection from Isida. At your rank you can go for one more m1, but after that one, focus on m2 equipment. Though, if you're low on crystals, start focusing on m2 equipment already. I don't recommend Bulldozer, because Mammoth m2 is extremely slow due which you'll find it kinda boring to play with. Jackhammer would be a better option, but we unfortunately don't know when it returns. If it returns before or during the sale, go for it. If not, I think I'd go for Isida unless you mostly play Death Matches. If you mostly play team battles, go for Isida unless you most commonly play large maps. I think Dictator m2 is the better choice. Mammoth m2 indeed has way more protection, but Dictator has a sufficient amount of protection too and it's a lot quicker. Both hulls are rather clumsy in my honest opinion, so I don't often use them myself. My vote goes to Isida m1. It's great in team battles and you can earn experience points with it quite quickly. Shaft m1 is very powerful at your rank. I've used it on my alternative account which is WO1, but I find it rather boring. It's very important to take a look at the maps you mostly play in. If you most commonly play in big maps, I think Shaft is the better choice. Isida isn't so good in those maps unless you're using supplies the whole time. I usually suggest players to wait as long as possible with buying paints. The only paints that I would still recommend in some cases are Storm and Tundra. Storm doesn't cost so much and Firebirds are a real threat in Polygon CP indeed. Please wait for a sale to buy it. You'll need all crystals you save now for m2 equipment in the foreseeable future. What maps do you usually play in and what other equipment do you already have? That's a though question. Both are good, though completely different. Smoky is more a medium range turret while Thunder is more a long range turret. Smoky has got the critical hit while Thunder has the splash damage which can be very useful. Thunder reloads rather slowly and deals massive damage with every single shot. Smoky on the other hand has a nice reload time, but deals a medium damage with every shot. Sometimes I prefer to play with Thunder, sometimes I go with Smoky. It depends a bit on the map I'm playing in and the protection paints of my enemies. I don't have a real preference for any of the two turrets you mentioned. I'm sorry. :P

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

  13. 1. I hope because summer holidays are coming to an end in most countries. 2. There'll probably be a sale in September, though we can't be sure about it. 3. I think we won't have to download it, but a Developer must answer you to confirm this. As for the transfer of accounts, the Developers are working on this issue. Let's hope all accounts can be transferred. :) Great V-LOG. I liked the information on the upcoming Unity version and I'm curious to check out the answers to the questions of players in the next episode. What about the statistics of all players?
  14. Best of luck to all parkour teams. :)

What to buy? Which is better?

Difficult choice. Both weapons work better on a medium hull than on a heavy or light hull I think. In Silence and Rio, both weapons are equally good. In noise, I've got a slight preference for Hammer. In Island, Thunder doesn't work at all while Hammer still makes a chance in there. There usually is a Halloween sale. In Death Matches, you can get XP and crystals quite quickly by using Thunder with Double Damage on. In team battles, I think Isida is a better choice as you can get XP by healing your teammates. Also, thanks to the self-healing mechanism, chances of capturing the flag increase a bit which gives you extra XP and therefore some extra crystals. Thunder is also good in team battles, but it's not the best at capturing flags due to the splash damage which can make you self-destruct. Firebird is both good in DM and team battles, but for some reason I find it harder to get the first place in battles with Firebird without using supplies. In DM, the afterburn doesn't often kill an enemy. Others often steal your kill. In team battles, it's really good, but the slow reload time is a disadvantage due which you often get killed before being able to start grilling another opponent. Railgun m1 is not advisable to play with at your rank. It doesn't hit enough to encounter enemies with m2 hulls. If you plan playing XP-battles in the future, you can already buy it, though I'd recommend you to save up crystals to buy Hunter m2 once it's unlocked. It depends on the maps and battle modes you mostly play. So in which maps and what battle modes do you mostly play? I prefer Hunter & Hammer, but if you mostly play in large maps, Thunder will be a better choice. What other equipment do you already have? Thunder m2 is a great weapon and I think it's worth buying it.
  17. I'm still not convinced about the amount of flags. There must be a difference between small, medium and large maps.
