1. Because many updates have been released regularly. Sometimes certain events (for example someone driving over a mine of a player that is changing equipment) do not match with each other, which results in an error. The more updates with new features, the more chance of specific events not matching with each other, therefore more errors occur. 2. Because the system does not differentiate between an intentional (strategic) refresh and one followed by an error. 3. That is to prevent players from being kicked out of the battle if they either accidentally close the window or if they want to refresh. If you do not want to return to the battle after closing the client, wait for a couple of minutes or load a different server in your browser. First time I'm seeing this error message, so I'd start off by trying to clear your browser cache (Internet Explorer), your flash cache and shared objects.
