  1. Depends on the map size (close-range might only be useful at Cross and maybe Sandbox, idk), but you're right. Maybe the scenario as well (short range can help avoid getting spawnkilled by the opposing team)
  2. Depends on the Augments, though. You can make pretty much every Turret very powerful with Hornet with DD and: Firebird: Incendiary Mix Freeze: Stock, or Shock Freeze Isida: dunno, I don't use it at all, but it has high DPS Hammer: Duplet, Adaptive Reload Ricochet: Plasma Torch Twins: Heavy Plasmagun Thunder: Small Caliber Rounds Striker: Uranium Alt Vulcan: Incendiary Band Smoky: Autocannon Railgun: LCR, Scout Shaft: Light Caps Magnum: Stock, or RGC Gauss: Adrenaline All those are very powerful with Hornet's OD, lol

Actually I'm also confused about the EMP Salvo, because if I remember correctly, it was supposed to disable enemy supplies, but if you cause self-damage with the Salvo, you would lose your supplies as well. This doesn't seem to happen, though, which is why it gets called broken. If you lost your supplies as well, one could beat the EMP users in close range at least - unless they have EMP immunity, but then they don't have Fire immunity etc. ? If you get shot from afar, you can at least hide until the supply cooldown is over, and as some people pointed out, this Augment seems to reset your cooldown from the usual 30 seconds to 3 seconds
  4. Agree. A good example would be yesterday: I was playing a Parkour Battle with Hunter Mk6-10 and Smoky Mk6-10 (Autocannon Alt). There was a single player with Dictator and Smoky who was no problem to deal with. Then, the player B.umcik (WO5) joined with Hornet Mk3, Smoky Mk4 and Incendiary Rounds and killed our team. Later he switched to Dictator Mk3 and kept using supplies and mining the entrances of the Chernobyl Map, which is why we couldn't kill him. After a while, my team left, and I had no chance to destroy him because he keeps using supplies all the time ? So yeah, supplies are absolutely king. I'm using supplies, too, but only for Missions, Golds and Events (and if someone's annoying a lot). I won't use supplies otherwise unless I have maxed out my Garage, which will still take a while. Until then, I will have to endure getting pwned by players with "not-so-good" equipment. That's why I actually like the EMP Alt for Gauss, as it gives Non-Druggers a fair chance to beat such people

  6. On the other side, EMP Gauss gvies a chance to beat non-stop Druggers when oneself is not using supplies. Although I can understand that most people will also drug with this Augment and overpower others

  8. On the other side, however, I think that some Augments turn the turret into something worth using. Right now, I'm not using Freeze at all, but if I buy / get its Shock Freeze Augment, I'll definitely start using it more ?

    In my opinion, Booster's effectiveness should then also get reduced from 200% to 150% (maybe not 100% because Modules are, in fact, helpful at mitigating damage)
  11. Hi, since there will be a new Turret relatively soon, I think that 3 Protection Module Slots will not cut it any more. Therefore it would be nice if the Developers also introduced a 4th Slot, so that we can have Protection against 1/4 of all 16 threats (including Mines). However, this might be debatable, as Hull Alterations are already some kind of 4th Slot, even if they don't reduce the inherent Damage / DPS of a Turret ?
  12. Same. For some reason I also can't switch Missions there properly ? The funny thing is that MU speedups mostly work, it's the during changing missions where the ads seem to "break". And that happens for quite a while now. Not so enjoyable lol

    Actually, I'm afraid that Lifeguard might have made Mid-Rank battles even more unbalanced. Before, I could (potentially) one-shot a 4000 HP heavy hull with: 1. Hornet + Shaft (+Augment) and DD; 2. Hornet + LCR Railgun + DD;* 3. Hunter / Hornet + Magnum + DD; 4. Stacked landmines (?) 5. *some other stuff that should still work* Now that's not possible any more probably. I mean, I don't know, I will probably test it in a few minutes, but if those Hulls survive despite Hornet's OD,... uh (*If I upgraded a lot further)
  15. Actually, on the other side, it would be better to keep it at Level 0 so when you get the Adrenaline Augment, you can use that one more well ? Also, does Lifeguard really consume Repairs on its own or only when you use a Repair Kit yourself ?

Hi, another feature I'd like to see in the HTML5 version is that while opening containers, one should be able to see the Nickname, Crystal Count etc. (basically like in Flash) Also, I tried joining an Event in HTML5 and I was waay too late because the players using Flash click on the Event Link and can directly join much faster. Whereas HTML5 is loading for a quite significant while in comparison ? Flash is a matter of split seconds to get into the Event. HTML5 takes seconds to load the map link itself

    I tested it and it seems to give you a max of 1.5x dmg when having almost zero HP ? I used Firebird Mk1 0/10, which gives me 100 dmg per Tick with DD. After having little HP left, my dmg was 145 per Tick

    What I find a bit unfortunate is that the "Vote" option is under the "View Profile" one iirc. Generally I find it too easy to misclick in the heat of the battle ? But maybe that's just me Maybe there should be a Confirm Button for voting, idk

    That's right. However, Stock Striker can also shoot a fifth rocket pretty fast and both Uranium and Stock will probably hit their enemy with the rockets in about the same time because Uranium's Reload is faster, but the Projectile Speed is way slower. Whereas Stock has longer Reload but faster rockets. (Of course on longer ranges) That way, Stock would cause 5x dmg and Uranium "only" 4.5x, I also mentioned that in my "Let's Discuss Alterations" post, though ?

    A lot people are complaining about Hornet's Overdrive, which is why I'd like to give 1-2 suggestions to adjust its OD. The first one is very straightforward and reduces the Overdrive Duration from 20 to x seconds. The second possibility came into my mind after thinking about Ricochet's Description: Its Minus Field is smart... but not smart enough to tell the difference between enemy tank and one's own tank. One could implement the same for Hornet's OD. Then the OD is also "smart", but not clever enough to tell the difference again. That means that when using Hornet's OD your own Modules, Drones and Hull Augments also get ignored ? This would cause Hornets with Vulcan + Incendiary Band + Fire Immunity to take full Overheating Damage as long as their Overdrive is active. And that way they would stop shooting. Same for Magnums with RGC. Instead of blowing up tanks in very close range and surviving, the Hornets would have to keep their distance.
  24. Also considering that Cryo Immunity makes Freeze completely not-so-useful, whereas Firebird has Incendiary Mix, which can put a dent into people's HP despite Fire Immunity ? And Corrosive Mix is... mhmmm
