That's true, it's been half a year and I'm still not in the position to buy Gauss or its module, simply because there are too many other things that have a higher priority (now especially because of the Mk update)
-
Hm, it's best if you ignore the first part. Though, he made two separate kills from afar, came closer then, sniped another guy, and then shot again and killed us both. I guess it would be best if I had a module against it, but for now it's too expensive (I have neither the weapon nor the module). I probably won't be able to buy the module before the Mk Update comes out, but 30% Protection should also suffice to avoid most one-shots

In my opinion, Gauss is way too powerful (at least in the Midranks). There was a MM Battle where at the very beginning a normal Hornet with Double Armor destroyed 4 Tanks (including me) single-handedly, one after another. Pretty stupid, especially because he wasn't hiding but going in the offensive. It doesn't make sense that Gauss has such huge Splash Damage but Magnum doesn't anymore. Gauss and Magnum should swap their Splash Radiuses and Damage, since Gauss is easy to use when nobody knows you're shooting them into oblivion in a few seconds, and their teammates probably as well. Magnum is harder to use and can't spam its shots like Gauss can. However, only the "vertical" version should get its old Splash radius / dmg back. RGC Magnums mostly rely on direct hits, so it should be okay that those will have a smaller splash.

Test Server 4: Every Shot Effect and Skin can be bought in the Garage under the Kits Section. Result: 1) 2) 3)

Do you also have problems switching Missions, opening Supply Containers and speeding up Micro-Upgrades there ? I have also updated the Mobile Version today and now I keep getting the message: "Video playing error. Retry later." I also cleared my cache and data (as the Tanki Support said so), still not working though ?

Hi, I think the Stable Plasma Alteration of Twins is bugged, as it causes me to take self-damage whenever I and an ally / enemy (?) player are in very close proximity and shooting each other. When I shoot at walls, nothing happens in terms of self-dmg, which is how it should be ?

There's nothing that inherently speaks against splitting the micro-upgrades evenly. I mean, there have been not very few cases where you had an advantage (Price and / or Rank technically) because you bought something before an update, e.g.: 1. Buying paints before the Paint Seperation Update: You could buy (compared to today) relatively cheap paints that gave you very high % Protections from Turrets. That's also how this player has gotten two 36%+ Modules (that would cost ~500k crystals today) with very little crystal input. (Yes, his rank is ridiculously low, but that's how it is. PS: It would be even worse if he had fully MU'd the "Dirty" Paint, giving him default M3 Prot from Shaft at that rank!) 2. S-D-T Modules: If you bought every M2 Single Module at that time, you could upgrade each module to 35% for only 50k crystals per module. Nowadays it's 5x as expensive! 3. Buying the Old Alterations before the new ones came out: That's why there are many people with Large-Caliber Rounds even way before Lieutenant Colonel. I have also seen a Captain with the M2 Vulcan Alt "Shooting Speed Regulator", although it's now only available at Brigadier and above. That way, number 4, having bought M2 (6/10) can lead to getting Mk6 to a relatively cheap price :)

Nice, so the Mk Update is coming next week. But I'm a bit uncertain about whether the change applies only to Turrets, or to Hulls as well, since in the first info VLOG it was said that Turrets get those seven Modification Levels. On this one, though, the Mk Update is stated in a general manner  I'm not excluding Hulls because the jump from Titan M1 to M2 is also quite huge
-
Actually there is an easy solution: Hornet's Overdrive Duration could get reduced from 20 to 15 seconds for now and if it's still too much, it can be adjusted to 12 seconds or so. I mean, it's still plenty of time
-
Exactly, I looked at his profile and he has got M3 Protection Modules from Railgun, Thunder, Ricochet, Freeze, Vulcan, Isida, Hammer, Twins and Firebird ! That's NINE Modules !! He can easily have a GS of 8999 while only being two ranks higher than me :(
-
True. That's why I'm screenshotting every upgrade that I made, which can be useful if I have a Turret at 5/10 going to 6/10. Then I can prove I was upgrading that Turret(s) and be eligible for the next Mk Level :)
-
Probably no. It will be Mk6 (5/5) instead of Mk7. Sorry  And I listened to the VLOG again, it's only the Turrets that get these 7 modification levels
-
Yes, it would be definitely important to know when exactly this update will come
-
Oh well, these changes came too quickly for me... Right now I'm using every crystal I get to upgrade as many Modules to 35% as possible before we're potentially getting 4 Module Slots and before it gets capped at 33% or so (which would actually make the Module almost 100.000 crystals cheaper). That again means I'm not upgrading my Hulls and Turrets, which might prove to have been a bad idea. If we could just get some more time, maybe a few months or so... Hm. What would actually happen if I manage to upgrade my Turrets in the last moment ? Meaning that the update will come while I'm micro-upgading, I'll get the next modification, I guess ?

A fun fact that I found out in the Test Server: Even if you have 49% Firebird Protection, you can't survive a stock M3 Firebird with Compact Tanks with your stock M3 Medium Hull. Once you have 50% though, you survive the attack with like 1-2 HP left

Hmm, I occasionally use my Defender Drone, and (at least in the real servers) it consumes 1 battery per minute as usual. Pressing Double Armor gives me the effect, but doesn't necessarily deduct one battery, which is good :D On the other hand, I don't activate Double Armor and the batteries deplete slowly anyway. So it works how it is supposed to be
-
As far as I have seen, your Double Armor only gets reinforced for 10 seconds, after that, the Drone comes back again and you have your standard Double Armor. So I guess the information about the power-up Duration is faulty (?)
-
I also have quite some screenshots from such people. If you want, I can post them, but it's probably not going to fit in one post  Although some screenshots might be old, it's still interesting to see
-
For me, it's absolutely Gauss. These kind of players one-shot my Hunter out of nowhere and make me want to call them noobs or even cheaters  I don't understand the people who complain about Magnum, but not about Gauss. Gauss has nearly the same damage and is far easier to use
-
Well, actually the Alterations for Gauss are in the game since July. They're just not public yet. I saw that because I ranked up with an alt account to Master Sergeant at that time and saw the Alteration(s) for Gauss. However, when clicking at the Alteration Symbol, I got this: I didn't make any screenshots right after the rankup, so I can't show what the Gauss Alterations looked like, yet
-
Damn, you have an account that is one rank lower than mine that has all this equipment ? This makes me feel bad again that I had quit the game a long time ago and therefore have no LGC Modules that had over 35% Protection... rip But I'm still insisting on maxing out my Modules to 35%, hoping that one day it might have been worth it... My hope of potentially getting 50% Protections hasn't died, even though HTML5 also seems to treat my Modules like M2-10 instead of M3-0 :( Edit: I think I might have accidentally visited the profile of your alt account a few times, if it's really the one that I'm thinking about. But I was pretty amazed to see those Modules. One thing that would verify my thought: You wrote the Vulcan Protection twice. Is one of them supposed to be Shaft Protection ?
-
Nope, I'm certain I used it with the new values. I'm talking about whether the drone will be as effective as having Double Armor twice (just like having 50% Protection from a weapon and activating Double Armor), but independent on the worn Modules. It should be. The only problem is that the number percentage seems to be off and should display 100% Additional Power (meaning doubling it) instead of 200%, which would triple the effect. Yes, of course the 50% are added relative to the Double Armor, anything else wouldn't make sense. I also showed my calculations for that a few replies ago.
-
Rather the wiki. In the Test Server, it had the same values, though (also 200% Additional Power). That means that the Drone will either have 100% additional Supply Power at max officially or that it will be even stronger in the real servers (?) Probably the first, but the Drone is still useful to me once it's upgraded enough
-
Hi, how exactly does the math on the Defender Drone work ? I found out in the Test Server that a maxed Defender Drone offers "Double"-Double Armor, meaning 4x Armor (75% Protection) instead of the usual 2x (50% Prot). However, when reading the numbers of the drone, it's pretty misleading. Level 0 is supposed to have 50% additional Supply Power. That means 1.5 * 2 = 3 and therefore Triple Armor instead of Double ? This doesn't make sense, as the maxed drone has 200% additional Supply Power, which would equal having 6x Protection ("Triple" Double-Armor -> 87.5% Protection?) instead of 4x.
