I'm 15 years old. I'm from England :P Yeah, it has to be - I got addicted to XPs since Server 1 got taken over by them, and I've been playing them ever since. Actually, that's false - the UN has 192 member states, and many sources therefore place the number at around 192 to 196 countries. Check out this amusing article, looks like you're not the only one to have made that mistake: Verizon Ad: Verizon Wireless Covers 30 More Countries Than There Are in the World. To me, it seems like a great country :P I particularly like its 'freedom of expression' aspects - it seems to me like a model society, as a result of this. Not to mention the people themselves; I helped to run a Dutch clan with @williew about a year and a half ago (I think), it was pretty fun and the members were nice guys. And my fellow commentator, @joostcool, is Dutch too - he's done an awful lot to help the community. I'd like to visit the country sometime ^_^

Permanently include at the bottom of each issue's Main Topic: "The Danger of Procrastination by hogree - delayed till next issue" :P

Only if you lend me that FB logo :P Hey, and thanks! Currently, there's no set date for when mobile payment will be expanded to other countries beyond those which it's already available in, as far as I know.

Yes, but I think purple's more stylish :P

For me, school starts tomorrow ^_^

I would upvote this post, but I've ran out...

I exercise my right not to answer a question here, and with good reason! *looks over shoulder to check for the 3vil hamster* xD

Thanks! And that's good to hear :P

I have no idea. Only the development team have any idea about future sales - we'd have to wait and see, though a 70% sale on everything would probably be too much. Maybe only on one or two things, if so. Personally, my favourite was the 10th - I stopped watching when the 11th came along, he's probably my least favourite one.
-
I left - and I'm not actively searching for a new clan, though I might be interested if I were to be invited to what I see as a good one. The general consensus seems to be that despite some controversy, there are 196 countries in the world to date. I like them equally (honestly xD), though I have to say that the commentator role has been a breath of fresh air - it's been fun to pick up something new! Still, I wouldn't really be able to pick if I had to; being a Reporter was my first staff-related goal, and it's still as enjoyable as ever. Well, this one would obviously be due to the popularity of XP/BP as unofficial battle-modes on Server 1. Also, it would be due to the fact that all major clan wars now use Light Format - which means that the majority of players need to practice with Railgun on lighter hulls, if they want to become skilled clan players. Hmm, CHAMPI0N wouldn't be on my list, in any case - I know of a dozen players who are arguably more skilled. If I'm honest, I wouldn't really be able to provide such a list, mainly due to the fact that there are a number of very skilled players from our community. I guess a good place to start would be to take a look at the former Noob Army members, some of the current Arab Knights members, or maybe to check out Starladder to look into clans which have some talented English players, such as eTanks EU. Well, this is certainly something we can't accurately give an answer for - a recent study showed that many previous estimates were 10 times too small, in any case! Basically, there is no accurate answer to this question. It's mainly down to a lack of good topics/discussions here, it seems like players don't feel like talking here as much as they used to as a result. The best way to solve this is for all of us to try and encourage discussion ourselves. Still, there are still quite a few posts appearing in more interesting topics around the forum! Of course; there's no guarantee that I'd win such duels, but if it helps to improve my owns skills then why not? I don't often get much time to regularly duel others, however. I'm not bad at duels, though I guess I'm better in team scenarios as a result. The draw for picking two players and one substitute from each community will take place on September 3rd. Make sure you check the official topic to see if you're been chosen! If so, you'll be told about all the necessary details before the battle. The battle itself will be held at 5pm UTC+0 on September 5th, and will be streamed live on our Twitch CyberSport channel. The link to the official topic is here: click me! Thanks :P

^Thanks! Well, that's an easy one. The meaning of life, the universe and everything is 42 :P I already outlined what the purpose of this topic is - topics don't have to have a particular 'use' if they encourage discussion, and I also wish to help players out (as I've already done through my answers) ^_^ We don't really watch the NBA over here in Britain, but from what I can tell, Kevin Durant wins on paper due to his apparent statistical superiority, most likely because it seems he's been playing for much longer. Nope - whilst I disagree with it, I still appreciate the feedback that he provided. In any case, I couldn't really say yes even if I wanted to without being insulting :P Well, obviously, the fact that kits will only contain items available at your rank will be a 'nerf', to some extent. However, I'm not actually sure whether that'll be a bad thing - I like the idea of trying to make kits a more affordable and accessible way to non-buyers of normally buying equipment, and I like the idea that some kits would stay for a brief time period but might be really good (and so more expensive). Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how this change unfolds - only then would I be able to judge whether it's a good or a bad thing. After all, many would see the 'nerfing' of kits as a good thing - I have to admit that seeing a number of Heavy M3 kit users dominating DMs at around my rank and above gets a bit dull! Maybe that guy wasn't laughing enough? I'm sure he would have lived had he been laughing a little harder. Hysterical laughing on your deathbed might be the new thing, who knows... :P Well, that maths is a little complex... I'm going to cheat and point out that because the Sun is a red dwarf star and is continuously expanding, the Earth will be engulfed by the Sun in a few billion years anyway. I have a feeling that in any case, there wouldn't be any chance (or the chance would be so negligible it wouldn't take place), as if you were to simply simulate the orbit of the planets millions of times over, you'd find that the Earth is too far away from the Sun (and so the Sun's gravity over that distance is too small) to suddenly crash into it, in its current state. Actually, it's it's Mercury we should be worried about - because the path of our orbits crosses much closer than we are from the Sun at points, there's a chance that Mercury would be pulled into crashing into the Earth someday. I'm not quite old enough, so no  You don't have to quit - just try to see if you can save up more, using this article which I linked to previously: Maximizing Crystal Income. In any case, I'm pretty sure you have (at least nearly) enough to buy an M2 at a 50% sale; watch out for Tankman's Day, we'll have to hope it delivers ;) I'm pretty sure that if a non-staff member had created exactly the same topic, it wouldn't have been deleted. It's probably because I made it clear how this is different to the service provided over at Questions and Answers - that's mainly for game-related stuff only. As a Prime Minister? Personally, he doesn't come across as a 'strong character'. But I guess he's alright, and his government hasn't done too bad a job of trying to get the country back on its feet (in an economic sense) overall. I'll avoid political discussion, however, as I think that violates the forum rules. Like this - all in one go :P Well, considering there's probably no demographic data for 99% of the time that humans have been on Earth, we can't really say accurately. However, some have had a decent attempt at guessing this figure; apparently, the Population Reference Bureau puts this figure at 107 billion having ever lived in comparison with the 7 billion alive today, so dead people are about 15 times more numerous than alive people under that logic. And it was a staff party as there were mostly staff k, though yes, you were there too :P
-
No, I wouldn't - well, at least not at this moment in time. It's great to be part of the staff and to contribute to the community as a Reporter and commentator, and in any case, it would be kind of fun to start over on an alt now that I've hit the M3 ranks. Spectator mode is given to chat moderators and CyberSport commentators, as far as I know. This is because chat moderators need it to be able to check battle chats and to respond to in-game reports, and commentators must be able to view a battle situation from above. Forum moderators and Facebook moderators do not have Spectator mode - only the chat mods have it. The reason why some Reporters have it is because those Reporters are also chat mods or commentators - for example, I am a Reporter with Spectator because I am also a commentator. Reporters do not gain access to Spectator as part of their job. I think there are also a few others who have access to Spectator for staff-related uses - however, these are the main groups.

I am 15 years old. Thanks, agreed that there needs to be a bit more humour around here. Good luck on finding a Mrs Spotty - make sure you invite me to the wedding :P Aha, I see what you mean - the answer is yes, you could do. I guess there's the issue with our ranks not being too close together, but I'm assuming you'll rank up as time passes, anyway. If all else fails, find me when I'm online and ask me to join you in a battle!

As much as you wish to eat. As far as I know, there have been no cases of Nutella intoxication, or of people getting drunk on Nutella, just yet. Just make sure you stick to recommended daily allowances in terms of fats and sugars :P

Could you expand on what you mean? My instinctive answer is 'yes', but I want to make sure I've fully understood what you meant by that question :) Surely most of that energy would go into thermal energy i.e. would heat the acid up slightly? I imagine that in practice, there'd be a little bit of kinetic energy (the spring wouldn't stay still as it dissolves) and maybe even a tiny amount of sound energy if it fizzes, too.

In terms of commentating, I guess it has to be the connection you establish with viewers during a stream. We put quite a bit of preparation and practice into each stream, so the best bit is when we get to display the results of our efforts to you guys. Not to mention that it's fun to get to talk to a fellow staff member for a couple of hours on a subject that you're both interested in. Well, I originally became a Reporter to practice my writing skills. I wasn't doing an awful lot of creating writing anymore due to school stuff, and I wanted to keep up practising in that area. Turns out I met some great people and made some good friends along the way, as well as getting to create a wide variety of articles and contests for readers ^_^ Thanks for the questions, they were certainly thought-provoking! Have you considered Bob? It's a classic. Or maybe you could try a more relevant name, such as Mr. Spotty. Who knows, Mr. Spotty might get its own spots... and they could have theirs... and they could have theirs... It's a nice way to create a paradox.

I do not believe I have copied anyone. A list of similar topics is provided above. M2s are pretty expensive compared to previous modifications, so you'd want to have started saving up from the late Warrant Officer ranks onwards. If you're having trouble collecting the crystals you need, try checking out this previous newspaper article from a while back: Maximising Crystal Income.

Normally, you shouldn't do so - since you risk causing damage in the form of scarring or infection as a result of piercing the skin. However, there are occasions when zits can be safely removed, if done with care. See this article for more information: 3 Ways to Pop a Pimple. Alternatively, let the zit grow to the size of a small plum, then draw a smiley face on it using permanent marker pen. Yeah, definitely - it ended up being a staff party, where we each showed off our various special paints, lol. The dual image-editing skills of Archy and Mia were a pretty great bonus ^_^ Ah, I see - I guess the best course of action would be to try and explain the situation in more detail to the Tanki help team through sending off another e-mail, and make sure you give the details you provided here (i.e. that you've been blocked for no apparent reason, and that you want to use the feature!). I'm sure they'd want to help you to give them money, after all xD If you have Skype, PM me your Skype name and I can attempt to put you in touch with people working closely with the development team, in the meantime. Else, let me know what the help team say after you send an e-mail to them and get a response.

From my experience, I'd say that it's definitely worth it. In comparison with other weapons at M2, I'd argue that Thunder is one of the best weapons at that modification. It's a good buy and can even perform well against some of the cheaper M3 equipment, especially if you like the playing style of the turret. What is it that they said?
-
What do you mean? If you mean that you are having issues using the crystal purchasing feature in-game, then make sure you send an e-mail to help@tankionline.com detailing the problem(s) you are experiencing, and state your username - they'd be happy to help resolve such an issue.

~ BACK AND OPEN FOR BUSINESS ~ Ask Me Anything! ~~~ Welcome, forum user. Here, you can ask me anything you want! I will answer all questions, except those which violate the Game Rules or the Off-Topic Section Rules. I also reserve the right not to answer a question, though I would only make use of that right if I think there's a good reason to do so. What's the purpose of this topic? Well, if you have any question on your mind, just ask it here. It could be game-related, community-related, asking for advice or tips, or something completely off-topic (as this forum section is called) - questions on any subject are welcome! And no, your questions don't have to be serious - but don't expect a serious answer if so :P Why did I create it? For fun, basically. The forum's been looking a little inactive lately and it's been a while since I've participated in good discussion here, so hopefully this would help to provoke that. Also, it'd be interesting to help find an answer to a question regarding Tanki if it's required - hopefully, I could help out in such a situation, or at least point you towards someone who knows more than I do in regards to an answer. Don't forget to check out these similar topics: Questions & Answers - ask any serious questions about the game here, with accurate answers often provided by Consultants (official respresentatives of the game). What to buy? Which is better? - ask questions about what equipment to buy and/or use here. Flae's fortune shop - ask a self-proclaimed Tanki Guru about the future... heh. All questions are welcome!
-
Well, it's a shame that the questions didn't really change - there was some good feedback given here (e.g. that given by @hogree). He gave a good number of points, some of which could have been both beneficial and easily implemented, but I can't see any evidence that they were used; consequently, the standard of the interview hasn't gone up by much. I understand that this is something extra you're doing, and I really appreciate the time you're spending on organising this, but I guess players did spend some time trying to give feedback. Maybe it would be fair to repay the time they spent by taking some of it into account? I guess it's because I personally think using feedback to improve at whatever we do can only be a positive thing, regardless of whether our work was meant to be serious or casual. Criticism can always be a good thing if you use it to make your work stronger; that's why I always appreciate criticism as a staff member, and to me, it doesn't matter who says it and with what intention if I can at least gain a little from it. All criticism should be answered with a 'thank you' and a smile, but more importantly, it should be used where possible. But keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to reading the next interviews! :)

^Is this any better? Couldn't resist MUing some more :P
