If you have any crystals left over, go for another M2 turret - such as Railgun, Thunder or Ricochet. The best turrets at M2, in my experience, are Railgun, Thunder, Ricochet and Firebird. If you want to get Thunder M2, it's a very good choice - only get Railgun M2 if you know you'll want to use it in XP battles.

The vast majority of matches have been held at 5pm UTC+0, recently - so whilst that makes them in the evening for European commentators such as myself and joost, it would mean that an American commentator (e.g. GeneralVeers) would have to find time mid-way through the day, which isn't always easy if the streams are during the week.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'm aware that Isida/Hunter would be very powerful with supplies, but the ratings I gave here are really for when used without supplies (and so without that extra speed). IMO, that would make Hunter/Isida weaker - since you could be outrun by the numerous Hornet/Wasp M3s on the battlefield. Hunter isn't good at M2, it's worse than Viking M2 IMO. It becomes a great hull at M3. So, you can get Thunder M3 (which is a great choice) and Hunter M2 at the next sale - but don't expect to use Hunter much until you upgrade it to M3, when it suddenly becomes powerful!

In this case, I actually agree with williew's choices - 1st place was most spectacular, 2nd demonstrated a lot of skill (especially with only 2 people) and 3rd was a well-compiled montage of various techniques. The general standard of all the entries was pretty good too, from what I saw.

Looks like some players are unhappy that you were given the extra privilege for no apparent reason (well, you say you just asked and got it), and then decided to advertise it. I personally think this topic's a great idea, but agree with them to an extent. Maybe you could explain the actual reasons you got it e.g. I'm sure you didn't just say "Can I have Spectator?", you must have wanted it for a useful purpose such as this one?

Rihanna) are popular songs in the 'break-up' sort of genre, though my personal favourites would be 'The Scientist' or 'Fix You' by Coldplay, if the second one counts. Some decent songs in the current pop culture include 'Counting Stars' (OneRepublic), 'Read All About It Part III.' (Emeli Sande), and 'All Of Me' (John Legend). Haha, that's lucky :P I prefer Wasp in all situations, EXCEPT with the weapons Railgun, Thunder, and Shaft. I prefer Viking at M2, but Hunter at M3 - I don't really like Dictator. I would pick Mammoth over Titan; purely because if you're going to go for a heavy hull, you might as well have some more health, and Titan is almost as slow anyway. Well, my equipment at M2 upwards is the following: M2: Freeze, Firebird, Isida, Smoky, Ricochet, Shaft, Wasp, Hunter, Viking. M3: Thunder. M3.5: Hornet (fully micro-upgraded for health). M4: Railgun (fully micro-upgraded damage and reload, with 95.5% penetration power and an increased impact force). I guess I'm pretty good at XP, mainly because I've practised quite a lot. Sorry, I don't know if I'd have the time to 'train' anyone, however - it might be worth asking one of the more experienced XP players instead. The community is my favourite thing in Tanki. The forum's been a great place for discussion, I've made many friends, and being a staff member has given me the opportunity to contribute as a part of this community. It's pretty awesome, to say the least! My favourite school subject... well, I'd have to pick between Maths, English, Economics, Physics and Computing... No problem! Shh, no-one's meant to know... :c

Not at all. Misusing representations of the Earth doesn't prove that it must be flat. I guess it also depends on how one interprets the statement, though the idea that a way of mapping the Earth on paper (which must be flat) somehow makes the Earth flat is absurd. Equally, saying "We live on a spherical Earth; just look at all the model globes that prove it!" is logically flawed since globes aren't evidence or proof in themselves, despite the fact that the first part of the statement is correct. Sure, just waiting to see the crystals in my account first :p From what I know and at their rate of progression towards such a goal, they won't - or if they do, it would be in a very long time. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, however! Waiting to see if there's a good sale this month is a good idea - if there is, then sure, Railgun M2 is a great idea! It's a very effective weapon, at your rank. Could you expand on what happens/what is said when you attempt to do so? More general advice would be to try clearing the cache of your browser (Google how to do so for your specific browser), as that could help to solve the problem. Yes; anything that doesn't violate any rules, of course ;) I have a feeling that the new kits might come out at around the same time as the sale, in any case. But if they don't, and the sale occurs beforehand, I would suggest starting to save up for M3 stuff (since you can still get things like Thunder, Isida, Hornet, a Freeze and Shaft M3 early on in the M3 ranks) if you already have a good number of M2 weapons. Alternatively, if you're sure you have the crystals to spare, then Twins M2 isn't a bad choice - it's a great drugging weapon, though I've got to admit I used other weapons more frequently when not drugging in DMs. I saw it as a nice extra to have, basically, but not essential. I would be happy (I guess), as it would mean I have something I haven't paid for :P Yes, I don't like Mammoth M2, I only have it at M1- I greatly prefer light and medium hulls. In any case, that'd be difficult to achieve even if I did have Mammoth M2! Your favourite turret... Railgun? Along those lines, Wasp/Railgun? I'm assuming a bit here, because Wasp/Rail is known for being a skilled combination. Alternatively, you might actually prefer something like Wasp/Thunder or even Wasp/Smoky - I'm just pulling at straws here. Ah, makes sense - and thanks! If I were you, I'd save up for the earlier M2s, especially M2 Hornet and at least one M2 weapon - a couple of M1 weapons is certainly enough, as you'll find that M2s are significantly more expensive. However, if I were to pick from those, I'd say Thunder. You already have two close-ranged weapons (so Freeze would be a bit pointless), and neither Twins or Shaft are as effective as Thunder at M1. I think that someone in your situation would find that Thunder M1 is the better buy here, Usually, topics are only hidden when they break the forum section rules and/or overall forum rules in some way. One thing that is true, however, is that the fund that a team earns is currently divided equally between the players on that team depending on their score - so if one team wins 1000 crystals and the players earned 50, 30 and 20 points each, they'd receive 500, 300 and 200 crystals respectively. Definitely Hornet, it's a very useful hull even when hitting the later ranks. If you have crystals left over, go for a turret that you'd like - I'd suggest choosing from the more powerful weapons at M2 such as Thunder, Ricochet, or Railgun.

If you're sure that's safe - actually, Windows 8 has its flaws, I'd say that Windows 7 is easier to navigate/use so you're almost better off sticking to that, for now. Well, currently there's no rule like that, but I think that clan players can receive a CyberSport warning for doing that. And thanks! Well, to be fair, I did ask for it in the topic's title :P I am officially classed as a Hindu on the national census, though I personally don't see myself as religious. Despite this, religion is an interesting topic for me. But religious discussion is rightly discouraged on this forum, since it usually leads to flaming here. The players that are still in the clan are usually the most loyal ones. Make sure you try and see why players are leaving your clan - is there any problem which is causing them to do so? - because if so, you should work towards solving this issue. In the meantime, make sure you continue to hold trainings and to talk with the older members of the clan, to let them know that you're still committed to it. Recruiting new players once the issue's been resolved isn't such a bad idea, either, but the best clans only have a dozen (very loyal) members. Good luck! I wouldn't be a fair judge as I've only used iOS - however, it seems to me like a battle between iOS and Android here. I know little about Android, but I've heard it's good... Windows need to sort their later operating systems out before they can become a viable contender, IMO there are flaws with the way in which they're trying to modernize which mean that their OS isn't as user-friendly. Don't forget that the phone itself matters, too! Personally, KFC - McDonalds have nice fries and drinks (e.g. milkshakes), but their chicken-based produce is barely edible in my opinion. I commentated on the inter-developer matches (where the developer tandem was decided), and the developers have a strong pair that any high-ranked tandem might find difficult to beat. As it is, the EN (especially) and DE tandems suffer from having low-ranked representatives - only the Russians have any sort of chance in my opinion, as I just don't think the lower-ranked players will have the experience or communication to overcome the developers. I am @GoldRock, newspaper Reporter and commentator extraordinaire :P Definitely XP - from what I've seen, you don't really have as much of an impact on game situations with BP, and that's just because you're better with XP. Despite your username, I'm inclined not to trust that until I know I can :P It's an accurate hypothesis - we can't be sure about the working since none of us actually know the complex algorithm for battle fund distribution, but your attempt at least seems to be sensible. I know that the battle fund given to one team is divided equally amongst its players in proportion with their scores. The general pattern is that more fund is given to a winning team if it wins by more (and less fund to a losing team if it loses by more), but unfortunately, not much more than that is known about the algorithm. Try testing out your version on other sets of results to see if it works for more circumstances! Well, you could try sprinkling some baking soda into the bag to neutralise the odour - there are other methods, too. Click this link for more information.

I bought both as soon as they unlocked and I used both a lot, but the difference is that Rail M2 is still effective right into the M3 ranks (without drugging)... Basically, it's more powerful than Isida is at M2, and you'll find you can one-shot some tanks without supplies at your rank, which is definitely fun. I'm pretty biased on this, but it's interesting you should ask - I just downloaded the mobile version of WoT on my iPad yesterday, and was messing around with it. It seems that WoT is more tactical, but there's much less variety in terms of weapons and what they do - I understand they have light, mediun, heavy and 'sniper' sort of tanks, but it seems they've tried to keep things realistic. Therefore, it seems like gameplay's slower there - I spent a lot of time driving around before I came across opponents - and once you do find opponents, turns out that most (if not all) tanks have a scope mode, meaning that exchanges are often done at long range from behind cover. I like their maps, definitely, their props interact with the tanks (e.g. you can run over walls), and they have cool extra features like more tiers for tanks, tank crews and ammo. But overall, I didn't find it as fun or addictive as Tanki. I guess it's because Tanki can cater for both casual and serious gamers, whereas WoT is mostly more serious. It depends at which modification. I'd say the following: M0: Thunder, Freeze. M1: Thunder, Railgun, Freeze. M2. Railgun, Thunder, Firebird, Ricochet, Shaft. M3: Railgun, Firebird, Ricochet, Twins, Smoky. Those are the most powerful weapons at each modification (in my personal opinion), which can be used very effectively without supplies. The list is basically the same as those weapons given above - they're all effective both with or without drugs. The more powerful ones with supplies may be Firebird, Railgun, Thunder, Rico and Twins at later modifications, I guess.

Nope - I MUed my Rail because Hornet/Rail has also become my favourite non-XP combo, I use it in other battle-modes (such as DMs) a lot. Doesn't mean I don't play XPs, too ^_^
