Review [Issue 17] Parkour - not just a hobby

Thumbs up, a good read - well explained. -
Nice design, Lham ^_^ Looking forward to beating Sel in the "Double Stanza" contest entering the "Double Stanza" contest! Best reporter this issue: @aojsd, by quite a clear margin IMO. Generally, this issue is of an excellent standard. Well done.

^ Good work, an interesting read and a relevant subject, too. -
Pfft. Isida M2 deals enough damage to be an awesome attacker without drugs, and Electra is just beautiful - who cares what protections it has? :P Good job, a well-written analysis.

Exceptional guide. The way you've structured it reminds me of the Rail-avoiding one I did a while back ^_^ I love how you've used videos to demonstrate each point, to great effect. You've clearly spent quite a bit of time on this; it's clear, comprehensive, and detailed. Well done!

It seems you've pinched a few ideas from the Hunger Games series :P I like this a lot; it engages the reader, it's got a great plot, and effective dialogue. To improve, you could possibly add descriptive imagery i.e. paragraphs which describe the setting, the tanks, sounds and smells, feelings and the chaos of war, in more detail, so it creates more of an 'image' in the reader's mind - don't be afraid of the extra length it can add to your stories, for it is an invaluable technique of keeping the reader's interest throughout. Also, you could try a 'frozen moment' at the explosion part, in which you slow down the sequence of events drastically, and use detailed descriptive imagery in between those events. Otherwise, great story, and I'm looking forward to reading the second part ;)

Story [Issue 17] The Base: Dictator's graffiti manual

 Now that's a brilliant article! Best one I've read thus far in this issue. I'll tell eragon to take a read now ^_^ -
Excellent work. You have kept to a high standard in this article - it's well written, detailed but clear, and well structured. Have a golden sticky star.

After Lham and hog's version of this last issue, I was expecting another good laugh, but this only made the corners of my lips twitch on a couple of occasions. The paragraphs are really too small, there should be more detail, and more humour. It also seems slightly opinionated rather than unbiased: Are you writing a Reporter's article, or advertising on behalf of the mods? You seem to jump between telling jokes and preaching - what were the aims in your mind when writing this article? Anyway, fairly weak overall, kind of disappointed. On a positive note, it's well written with good grammar, but it doesn't really engage the reader.

, you're an ugly useless trolling flea, which I need to step on as soon as possible.
-
Sure, it'll be great to get to know you ;) I agree, that other guy is just a useless flea... and I mean that literally, not metaphorically or allegorically.
-
I like food. It's good for eating. Unfortunately, it's very hard to drink, unless it's a drink, but then it's not food. Paradoxical, eh?

*sobs quietly into handkerchief* (EDIT) You opened the spoiler! I said not to! How could you?! :o
-
Well, you're mature, intelligent, courteous (as shown in your post), and a great player with a great personality... Need I say more?
-
I understand the position you're in, and can relate to it myself... Le dramatic confession: Don't open the spoiler. DON'T open it. Unless you're the OP. It's kind of embarassing. Anyway, it's a text wall.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check 'em out now. Her style is just extraordinary - I can't get Glory and Gore out of my head now, it seems to be stuck on some sort of permanent loop mode in my mind ^_^ Mediocre, IMHO.

Can I be your friend pls. Works every time ^_^ OK, on a serious note, just be yourself. Avoid being self-piteous, avoid being arrogant, try not to be self-centred. If you look beyond yourself and your own worries, which might seem significant now but most of the time will just fade away over time, there's bound to be people out there who'd get along with you well. The beauty of the human race is its diversity - we're all human, and we all fit into society one way or another. Just try to be more selfless than selfish (though we all are naturally selfish to an extent), and soon people'll start to get to know you as a reliable friend ;) I for one don't care how fat or very ugly you may be - it's personality and character that counts. Also, try not to put yourself down; people generally tend to walk all over those who show signs of weakness and use them to their advantage, so don't lie down and let them do so. If you can't compliment yourself, then who will?

Yes, I saw your previous post on it soon after I posted mine, but thanks ^_^

Rail M2! Has it occurred to anyone that @Godmode_ON could be the owner of that mysterious paint? (EDIT) Looks like it has, having just scrolled up ^_^

400th reply in this topic ^_^ Just listened to it, and considering I'm a critical listener, that song's impressive. Really impressive. As in, so impressive that I'm kind of speechless right now. Trying to resist listening to it for the fourth time in a row; that has got to be one of my favourite songs ever, already O.o Having checked out some of her other songs, "400 Lux" and "Royals" are also particularly good.
-
Radioactive's amongst my favourite songs ^_^ The next song I'll listen to will most likely be "Glory and Gore" by "Lorde", under the command of Her Highness Selena12121
