I've noticed that sometimes I try to respond to a post and I get a message that says "You are not allowed to reply to this post." or something a long those lines. Yet, the topic isn't locked and others have left comments. To my knowledge, I don't have a ban. In fact, I can make a post on one topic and not another. Then go to another area of the forum and have no trouble. This is the third time it has happened in 2 weeks. Do you know the reason this is happening?

Well, it wouldn't hurt, but no matter what your weapon of choice is, nearly everyone would like to have their weapon buffed a little. I have Rico M2 and sometimes I feel as though I'm bouncing ping-pong balls. It takes a certain amount of skill to bounce shots (and adjusting your camera doesn't hurt, either). But there are a lot of ways to outwit a Rico. If anything, I'd like to see more than 10 shots in a full load. There have been times I've used up my 10 shots on one tank and he's still coming at me. Then I can either try to hide while I reload (which is usually a failure) or I can try to shoot a few cool down shots at him in hopes that my one more shot will kill him before his one shot kills me. Everyone likes a buff, but no one likes a nerf. Sure, some weapons could be buffed a little more or nerfed a bit, but I'm still on the fence when it comes to Rico.

Tanki used to be F2P with the option to buy. But now it's P2P with the option not to buy. Yeah, I know, it's still F2P. In another multi-player game I used to play was F2P, but the only gear available to them was the initial issue. If they wanted better gear, they had to buy a monthly subscription. But it was still labeled a F2P game, since you didn't have to pay to get started. But I will say this, as a non-paying member you were limited to about 1/4 of the available maps. So, the players you were fighting had the exact same gear as you. A paying member could enter the non-paying maps, but the game mechanics wouldn't allow you to engage. All you could do was show off your pretty, shiny armor. Comparing this to tanki, it's like getting M0s and not being able to upgrade unless you subscribe. (i wouldn't be a bit surprised if tanki is traveling the same path). Maybe only 4 maps would be available to you and everyone on those maps are using M0s. That game was fun at first, but got boring real fast. I don't put money into a game because it doesn't pay the bills, put food on the table, a roof over your head nor a car in the driveway. There are plenty of games out there that are truly free to play and still keeps my interest.

Please don't nerf Firebird. Before the rebalance, I could go into the enemy, kill 3/4 of them and seriously injure the rest, including Mammoth. But now, if I try that with my M2 with over half MU's (on another acc) they just laugh at me, some just ignore me. It takes a load and a half to kill a Mammoth, plus the afterburn, which is next to nothing. The afterburn used to last a long time with a lot of damage. Not so anymore. I've chased after the enemy flag bearer all the way to his base and constantly throwing napalm all over that tank. I felt like I was throwing water on him, even though I could see the damage I was doing. I've seen afterburns go from 40 to 20 to 1 in less than 5 seconds. What's with that? Any tank with full health can survive that. I've thrown full loads on Wasps with little effect. I've seen Freeze with more effect than Firebird, without supplies. Please don't nerf Firebird any more. I like my M2 Wasp/M2 Firebird combo. I'd like it even better if the damage and afterburn was put back where it was. Yeah, i know. Keep dreaming, Torva.

Dictator and Mammoth in checkered holiday paint. All you see is a wall of black and white squares. Makes me want to stop and play a game of Checkers or Chess. Sometimes I envision a huge eraser on top of the checkered wall and want to make some of those black squares white to play a Crossword puzzle. Same goes for Orange paint on a big tank. For some reason, that makes me cringe. Agree. Especially if that tank is wearing checkered holiday paint. It seems to accentuate the odd combo.

Oh! I get it now. Sorry for not reading before my first post. You can't afford to buy Gold Boxes, but you expect others to buy them so you can collect. I see you have already dropped 10. Well, if you can afford to buy/earn as mission, then you can get 10 more. Let me know when you get them so I can collect all 10. After all, it's all about team work and I could use a few GB myself. Sounds like you don't want to work for your missions, like other players. Do you really think all players will see your name and bow down to wash your feet? Maybe even massage and kiss them? These are the rules as I set forth in the forums (repeats rules above). Everyone got it? First things first. I need flags, supplies and kills to complete my missions. When I'm done, game play will continue as usual and I will leave a happy player. Thank you for your co-operation. Secondly: If you come into a battle that I'm in and make the same requests, I will comply and so will everyone else. Because I said so and I rule Tanki Online. How can a friend help with supply missions? He can't drop them for you. :unsure:

In TDM and DM, players consistently use repair boxes. If they didn't want to die, then why join one that guarantees you will die. Killing is the purpose of the battle, not who can last the longest. Well, ya if your going for 1st in battle. Using repair just prolongs the agony. They will die eventually, wasting the previous repair. It just seems wasteful to use repair in a death battle.

If I'm going for a Repair box and I see the Isida coming, I back off and let the Isida heal me. Same with DA. I figure the Isida needs it more than me, since the Isida is prime target. As I said above.

I failed to mention what my preferences were: 1st in battle and CP...losing team All others...winning team I don't like DM. Seems there's always 10 people better than me. I guess you can say, "I donate to the mission."

That's a hard question to answer. It all depends on how long you play per day (hours), how many battles you play in those hours, types of battles (since ranking depends on experience points), type of hull and turret with upgrades. Obviously, you can get xp just by driving around the map, setting off a few shots and getting killed. I think what you need to do is do some experimenting with which ever combo you plan to use. Try different maps, team sizes, and modes. Find which you are best at (as far as xp is concerned) and stick to it. On one of my other accounts, my main turret is Isida with Hornet or Titan (depends on the type of battle and size). The Isida is good for xp, since you would mostly be healing and not so much killing. Suggestion: If you are asking this as a way to rank up faster, I suggest you do this: At the top of the page is your xp bar, This shows how much xp you need to rank up. Take note of that before and at the end of your battles to determine which is the best xp booster for your type of game play.

i know if a team mate is attacked by Freeze, a team mate's Firebird will melt the ice. If a team mate is attacked by Firebird, a team mates Freeze will stop the burn. I have read indications that if the enemy is attacked by Freeze and then again by Firebird, the Firbird will unfreeze the enemy tank and vise-versa. Is this true?

If the Railguns at base were Shafts, the battle would have been over in 15-20 minutes instead of 30 minutes.

1)...Hand off a flag to a team mate because I had no health left and still had half the map to go. ((I had no healers left). He took the flag and went back to the enemy base for some extra points and lost the flag. (Personally, I think he was working with the opposing team). 2)...Another team mate and I went after the enemy flag. We fought hard, He grabbed the flag and made a break for it. Severely wounded, I left with him. He died along the way, I picked up the flag, found a healer and waited for him to respawn. I gave the flag back to him, but he didn't cap. Instead, he hid (I have no idea why). The enemy grabbed our flag and our flag bearer was killed. 3)..On Wave,I was going after a very annoying Vulcan on the opposing team. Our Isida was doing a great job in keeping me healed. I killed the Vulcan, but then I backed up behind cover to avoid an on coming enemy tank and accidentally pushed the Isida off the map. I really felt bad about it and apologized to him.

Missions are a part of the game to earn extra supplies, experience points, crystals and, occasionally, Gold Boxes. Some change their game play, some don't. I voted "no" and "yes." Sometimes I go for the GB and sometimes I don't. If I do, I let my fingers do the foot work and the space bar gets a good work out. If I don't, I'll use that time to capture a flag or change a CP. OR I'll just park a few feet a way and open fire at the pile hoping to get some kill points. (I try to aim for the ones on top of the pile :). Then I go into hiding :ph34r: and let my team mates pick up the pieces. This is especially effective with Vulcan and now even more so with Striker. BOOM...BOOM...BOOM...BOOM).

1)..When the enemy team is constantly drugging (pick-ups and inventory) and your team isn't because most are non-druggers. The enemy sees we aren't drugging, but keeps it up anyway. (I was in one such CTF battle.Throughout the entire game score was 2-1 their favor. Towards the end of the battle a team mate suggested we start drugging to get at least one more flag. Half the team said they didn't have any). 2)...When I enter a battle before the loading bar. I spawn, start to move, shoot the enemy or counter attack and the loading bar suddenly shows up in the middle of the screen. The only way to get rid of it is to reload the tab. 3)...On Highland, siren sounded for the GB. I was killed and respawned in the GB drop zone. Of course, there were 10 tanks already in the pile. (I pulled out and started railgunning the pile and got 4 kills out of it :P ) 4)...I never saw players "rubberband" glitch unless it was a hack. Now, since the game client, it has become part of normal game play, even when my fps and ping are within normal limits. (I never downloaded it). 5)...When I first started playing TO, it was a F2P game with the option to buy. Now, it's a buyers game with the option not to buy.
