    Do you have a beard?

I was never able to grow a decent beard. It looks more like a checkerboard. So, No. No beard, not now, not ever. My mustache is the same. No hair grows in the middle of my lip, only at the end of the lip. Looks funny. Like the reverse of Adolf Hitler's mustache. Kinda strange, since I have a very full, very heavy head of hair. (Maybe my body spends so much energy growing hair on top of my head, there's none left to grow it on my face).

What type of women are you into?

First off, I don't date "girls" I date women. "Girl" implies immaturity. Besides, I have more respect for the female gender. I don't care how tall she is. I don't care how beautiful she is or isn't. I don't care about hair color, etc, etc. What I do care about is: Loyalty, Trust, Acceptance of my "baggage" as I'm willing to accept hers Intellectual, meaning to be able to carry on an intelligent conversation about current events (local and nation wide), cost of living, how the children are to be raised (if there are any, it doesn't matter to me one way or the other). Plus other subjects that can affect our relationship. Able to think for herself without me having to constantly tell her what to do, what not to do, or how to do it. I understand there are many ways to accomplish something. I don't care, as long as the results are positive. Independent. I don't need "Mommie" and "Daddy" running our lives. As a further note, if anything happens to me, I want to feel secure in knowing she can take care of herself. Sense of humor If she wants to work, that's fine. If not, that's ok, too. However, she has to understand that it is imperative that we live within our means. A good, loving heart. And the list goes on. Beauty is skin deep, it will fade in time. What's important is what's in her head and heart. Love to laugh, Love to live, Love to love.

Why did your parents give you that name?

Johnathan. My Dad is John and my Mom's brother is Nathan. That's why the unusual spelling of "Jonathan." This is an after thought: When I asked my Mom why the unusual spelling of my name, she gave the reason as stated above. Then added, "It could have been Herkimer (first name) Archibald (middle name), so don't complain. I was afraid to ask any more questions. Besides I wasn't complaining, just asking a question.

    Extreme lag

It seems the lag has gotten worse since the introduction of the game client. I've asked before if there is a difference between those using the client and those who aren't, thinking this might be the lag problem. But so far, I haven't gotten a straight answer. I've been "ghosting" a lot after respawning. This hasn't happened in a very long time, not until the game client. Being booted out of the game with no error message has started recently. Rubberbanding has become common place. Turrets going around in circles was a big problem at one time. Now it's back. I've seen rubberbanding and lag happen at the same time. That was interesting. I was respawning and saw an enemy tank pass by me. I went after him, shooting and doing damage. He disappeared. Immediately, I noticed I was being attacked from behind. I turned and there was the same player shooting at me. I was taking damage. I shot back but I wasn't doing damage. Then he went by me like a race car and ended up way ahead of me in the middle of a bridge. I didn't die, though I was very low on health, nor did I see him die. A team mate was respawning and started going through me. When he finished respawning, he was on top of me and immediately exploded, though I wasn't under attack and the enemy was busy on the other side of the map. The team mate respawned again way in front of me. The same has happened to me, on occasion, so I try not to go through other players while respawning. I think TO should be put in Guinness Book of World Records as having the weirdest game physics. Then, on "eHow" as "How to ruin a good game in a short span of time and make players think it's for their own benefit."

    Tankionline Time

Tanki uses UTC, not GMT. There are conversion tables available on line. http://www.worldtimeserver.com/convert_time_in_UTC.aspx?y=2016&mo=11&d=3&h=22&mn=30 is one of them. You have to set up a free account, set the exact time where you live. Then you can find the UTC time anywhere in the world.

    What's on your bucket list?

3.Learn how to understand people. @ Qfu10: When you learn to do that, let me know. Once you think you've found the secret, someone walks through the door and screws it all up. The only way you can really understand anyone is to "walk a mile in his moccasins." (Taken from the poem: "Judge Softly" aka "Walk a Mile in His Moccasins." Written by: Mary Lathrap, 1895).

    What's on your bucket list?

A bucket list is a list of things you want to do, accomplish, or places you want to travel to before you die. These are usually things that are doable in the real world. So don't list things like traveling to Saturn's 62 moons, because at this point in time, it is not doable. Be realistic. If money is the only factor stopping you, go ahead and list it. Who knows, maybe someone will leave you a big stash of money. Here, again, be realistic. Don't list everything, bucket lists can be quite lengthy. Only list up to 5 of the ones most important to you. Here is mine: 1)...See the Grand Canyon located in Arizona from the top and travel to the bottom. 2)...See Mount Rushmore located in South Dakota 3)...Complete a Challenge Course 4)...Learn to scuba dive so I can explore under water caves 5)...Overcome my fear of falling. I don't have a fear of heights, once I'm up there, I'm fine. It's climbing the ladder that scares me. So, what's on your bucket list?

  13. I'd like to make my own suggestion under "That will never happen." Revamp Tanki. Get rid of the supplies and Pro pass. Make this a skills game and xp is your currency.
  14. Born and raised in the U.S.A. Will I stay? Indeed, I say.
  15. I would put down every little molecule of experience I have ever had. Versatility, flexibility, shows you are able to learn and grasp new skills, regardless of what it is. You never know what people in the Ivory Towers are looking for. Of course how you word it is important, as well. You might put Staff Member (Moderator) of a MMORPG (you may need to translate) as a heading and as subheads put what skills you had to sharpen up on (EX: Language skills, Communications), skills you had to learn (EX: a language different from your Native Language...even if you don't speak it well, but still are familiar with it, different cultures). Build yourself up, put on some spit and polish, maybe a little Brasso, too. There is only one person in this world that really knows you and that's you. Leave nothing to assumption. I know this has nothing to do with a College or University, but a friend was looking for a job and applied for one with a well known insurance company, doing file work in a entry level position. In his resume, he mentioned Computer Research (actually, all he did was look stuff up on the computer for his friends and family, but felt he was good at it). He was hired for an unadvertised position in their Research Dept. gathering statistics on home and auto accidents, cause of the accidents, percentages, etc. All his findings are taken into consideration and used to see how the company can grow in other fields, such as Accident Prevention. I don't know a whole lot about the job, but his salary is much, much more than what he would have been making as a File Clerk. So, you never know what others are looking for. Who knows, maybe that person who picks up doggie poop in the local public park might land a job in an Animal Health Dept. inspecting poop for chemical break down, how animals digest food and what comes out the other end. Ya never know. So, yeah put in everything you have been associated with. It's possible a Counselor may see some potential in you that you have never considered.

I usually die just in time to see the gold box drop. Her-r-re it co-o-omes.......(Boom).......And there I go. Bye-Bye gold box.

    Green Name?

I'm sorry, no I don't. Making videos while playing causes more lag. I couldn't read his name from my distance. But I was close enough to see his name in green. I don't have a screenshot program that works well with TO.

    Green Name?

I was on one of my other lower accounts playing Brest CTF on blue team. I was defending our flag. A player from the red team came twice to steal our flag. His name was in green (like DM), not red. I don't recall seeing a rank, either. Who was this "Masked Man?"

    How to manage clueless teammates

Maybe because you're a team player and the winning point is more important to the team? The a team could care less about your extra points, but do care if you lose the flag and possibly the winning point by you acting foolhardy and being selfish. I'm sure you've been in a CTF battle where your team lost by one flag. Supposing your team lost by one flag just because you decided to get a few extra points, died and lost the flag causing your team to lose. You would have gotten a lot more crystals by winning than by losing.

    Why non-buyers hate buyers?

I'm a non-buyer and you have this allllll wrong. !). You claim to understand a non-buyers financial state, But do you really? I don't think so, otherwise, you wouldn't have suggested a Pro Pass. As a non-buyer, I choose to do so because I have more important financial responsibilities in real life. It takes several battles to work up your crystal cache from a few hundred crystals to 5K. Once you are at that point, it's decision time. Do I put that towards MU's for my hull and weapon? Do I put any portion of that towards supplies? If so, how many? Or do I keep saving for many, many more battles for a 20K + protection plan? Because I worked so hard to do good in battles so I can get a few hundred crystals, I'm certainly not going to waste it on Pro Passes. As a buyer, you don't worry about such trivialities. You just reach into that old comfortable wallet and drag out the plastic without a second thought. 2). As a non-buyer, I do not hate buyers because they don't drop gold boxes, In fact, I don't even try for the gold boxes. Instead, I use that distraction (and that's all it is) to try to better my team by making some extra kills, setting the CP bases, or capturing an extra flag. 3). Cool? Are you cool? I don't know you, so I have no opinion about you one way or another. I would not call you or any other buyer cool just because he wastes his money on such things. My personal opinion about players who buy gold boxes is they are trying to be cool, to be popular, to have a bunch of people they don't know calling them "friend." Go ahead, spend 10K on gold boxes, drop them for your "friends." Next time you are in a financial bind, have hospital bills that nearly put you in the poor house, or just need someone outside your home life to talk to, ask your "friends." In fact, try this experiment: Invite on of you gold box friends to a 1 v1 battle. When he gets there, tell him you don't want to battle, just chat. Tell him you need to get a few things off you chest and want to talk to someone outside your circle. First thing he will ask you is, "Going to drop any gold boxes?" You tell him, "No." See how long that "friend" hangs around.

    How to manage clueless teammates

Here's what happened in a recent battle of CTF I was in. I was on my way to the enemy base when I saw the flag carrier headed to our base with very little health. I followed him as closely as I could, trying to cover his "tail pipe." He was snipped and died. I picked up the flag and carried it back to our base. i hung unto it until he respawned and gave it back to him for the capture point. (i figured he fought for it and deserved the point). But instead of making the capture, he headed back to the enemy base. I followed him knowing he was about to get killed and lose the flag. Fortunately, I was right there when he died. I grabbed the flag and headed back to the base again. He respawned and indicated he wanted the flag back. By this time, our flag was gone and I knew he would take their flag back to the enemy base for some more xtra points. I refused to give it to him. In chat he said, "Gimme dat flag back its mine." (Exact quote). He tried to flip me, push me out into the line of fire, etc. When our flag returned, he tried to block me. Meanwhile, we both got one-shotted together and lost the flag. In team chat, he said, "Torva is a noob. He made us lose the flag. Report him." No one did. So, it happens even on higher levels. The reason for the behavior you described, is because you get extra points for killing the enemy while in possession of the flag. That's why on maps like Massacre and Camp, you'll see players fighting the battle with the flag instead of trying to cap. There's nothing you can do about it. It's part of the game play.

    Why non-buyers hate buyers?

I had always thought the main purpose of the Isida is to heal and to protect or defend, not a front line fighter. Much like a Field Medic in a war zone. They are Doctors, Nurses, Nurse's Aides all rolled into one. Not a front line human killing machine. While the front line soldier is learning how to kill, the field medic is in school learning how to keep them alive. The Isida is your Field Medic.

    Why non-buyers hate buyers?

I'm a free to play (non-buyer) person. I don't hate buyers, nor am I jealous of them. We all waste money in whatever brings us pleasure. For some it's junk food, alcohol, non-medicinal chemicals to put into the body, buying that hard to find piece for a collection, or buying something that will increase ones status in a group or a community. For others, it's putting money into a game. The only one who really profits is the seller. There are some who have the financial status to own credit cards, while others don't. Some have to budget for everything they buy, while others just pull out a piece of plastic and make monthly payments. A game such as this, in my opinion, is a show of financial status; the haves and have nots. A show of "which side of the railroad tracks" you live on, or want people to believe you live on. If making cannon fodder of other players or an easy snack for an Isida gives you pleasure, then the more money you put into this game, the happier you will be. Again, it's only a status symbol. Sometimes I can almost hear a player say, "Hey, noob, looky what I got!! (BOOM). I one-shotted you, ha ha." So, while that player is in the garage buying more supplies (drugs), I'm in the game beating the tar out of him. That's what gives me pleasure. What also gives me pleasure is him getting snipped right after using a healer. That's when I come along and one shot him. It's a buyers game and he is at the mercy of the seller. if the seller says, "You aren't digging into you pockets deep enough, I want you to dig deeper, so I'm going up on the price." If the buyer wants to keep up his persona, his status symbol, he will put out more money. The seller gets richer and the buyer gets poorer. As long as there are players who buy into the deception that the game changes are for the betterment of the player and down play the money angle of it, then they will keep making changes until the only ones playing are the buyers. Reading between the lines, I think it's a way of weeding out the non-buyers (free to play). OP said not to include real life. But this is real life, Money is real life and that's what keeps this game going. It's real life that makes buyers, buyers and non-buyers, non-buyers. I don't hate buyers, nor do I envy them. This is just their way of wasting money....that's all. What I don't like is when buyers try to humiliate non-buyers by asking them to leave a battle because the turret and tank are not M3's. That has happened to me in a few battles. Game play is one thing, but making it personal, is another. Ok, I'm off my soap box. Next!!! Next one in line, please!!

    A Penny a day?

Regardless of your Nationality, when you walk down the street do you pick up any loose change? For example: In the U.S. our lowest denomination is a penny. Not worth much on it's own, but when doubled daily, in 30 days it will yield $10.7 million. Day 1...1 penny Day 2...2 pennies Day 3...4 pennies Day 4...8 pennies Day 6...16 pennies and so on So, to you, is it worth the effort to bend over and pick up that seemingly worthless coin? I do. I figure I'm a penny richer than I was a second ago. And if I find 5 pennies that day, I'm a nickle richer and didn't have to work for it .....besides being tax free.

What does your nickname REALLY mean?

I wanted "Grim Reaper" but it was already taken. So, I translated it into Latin.
