Found this today on the hard drive of my old old laptop when I took it apart. My first ever Gold Box almost 5 years ago. What a trip down memory lane!

Sorry to hear that, as a photographer myself, I've had a camera fall off a table before, luckily the lens hood did it's job and took the impact, so I just needed a new £15 piece of plastic. I will say, this is why you have insurance on your gear when working as a professional though... A lesson learned there maybe.

If you get a TO staff job, would you put it on your resume to college?

This. Exactly this. Had TO stuff on my CV since I made it, I mention it's a online game once, and then spend most of the time talking about the skills I've learnt. -
Oh, I thought you meant opinions xD No, I don't actually have a Hamster.

What's that got to do with anything, I was simply mentioning the price. Google isn't claiming to be a hardware company, though they do make a number of piences of tech. HTC makes the Pixel btw. If Google stole (patented) tech then Apple would have sued them. That's a very big assumption to make, more likely because there's much more competition in the android market. "Failure" is also subjective. He is being civil, your post did contain a bunch of drivel... No need to be so militant likee the other guy who can't see the bigger picture. (Also, your opinion is part of you )

Ah, games are not something I do on my phone, so a new flagship is probs faster than mine there. Yep! My phone was free with my contract :D And yep, nothing is perfect, or better than the competition in every way. *facepalm* 2 things: 1. 2. Samsung made the NEX mirrorless camera, which today is still one of the best there, so take off your tin foil hat. The new Google Pixel costs the same as an iPhone 7, and thus also incredibly overpriced. They are selling Note 7s with the potential fault fixed I believe.

I've played it on XP, was rather laggy, but I suspect that was the comp I was playing it on that was ancient! (It had a grand total of 448MB of RAM and some AMD CPU from the dark ages xD)

On my phone I press the icon and the app launches, there really not much it... LOL. I'm sitting here not being jealous and making it rain with all the money I still have cause I didn't get an overpriced phone. Every company will inevitablly have a product that needs recalling, Samsung makes 1000s of other products that work just fine.

Hahahahahaha. Sorry, I had to.

Remember the bendy iPhone 6? Honestly, I've never met someone quite so militant about Apple...

So my computer can now hold it's own raves :D  I can also make it do rainbows, and actually sync with music xD

From the half that I watched, Benjamin looked pretty good, imagine what they would have done with him too last year... Siemian looked good too for his first start.

I bought an RGB USB Corsair keyboard for £40... Easy solution. Fairly sure a laptop that markets itself as 'gaming' will have anti ghosting.
-
You're kinda comparing Apples to Oranges there, a Macbook Air is an everyday browsing the web laptop, whereas a gaming laptop is for um... gaming, so it has the internals for it. Pretty sure good ones are less than $3k, more like $2k (if that), which also happens to be the price of a base Macbook Pro...

See my example below for a pretty obvious answer!

No School. Buuuut, no such thing as a summer holiday when you work. :(

Ah, the militant Apple fanboy is back. A Mac, laptop or desktop, has computer hardware in, and sometimes decent stuff at that, so I'd expect the hardware to perform and do what it's capable of, getting 60fps in Tanki isn't hard, no need for a gaming rig/laptop. Also, how do you get to decide what everyone else uses their computers for?

Ah, this old debate. My main issue with Apple products is the massively overinflated price you pay. Older products do slow down with the latest software, that's partly cause the new software is designed with the latest hardware in mind, but also to force you to upgrade, but that's not just an Apple thing. The Apple software from what I've heard (I have v limited experience with it) is actually pretty good, which is why some people are willing to pay the price for it. If prices dropped to something reasonable and equivalent to other products of similar specs (PC or Android phone etc) then maybe I would consider buying something Apple. The latest hilarious overpricing I compared was a Mac Pro. On the configurator for the Mac Pro, I upgraded from the base 6 core model; 16GB to 64GB of RAM and a 6 to 8 core processor. Those upgrades cost over £2k. For little less money, I could build this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/9nyvf8 You're talking a just released 10 core processor (which is also overpriced, which tells you how much more the Mac is overpriced), twice the RAM, double the SSD storage in M.2 form + 8TB of HDD space in Raid 1, and two new top end graphics cards. To upgrade from 16GB to 64GB of RAM will cost you £960. To upgrade. The whole 128GB kit only costs £630! Oh and those Mac Pros are using hardware a couple of years old to start with. That's why I don't buy Apple products.

The medal table is done by Golds, then Silver, then Bronze, not total medals, meaning GB finished 2nd! :D Our best ever games, the first country to get a better total no. of medals the olympics after hosting! The legend that is Mo Farah completed the double double! :D Also, the closing cermony was pretty spectacular, GB had flashing shoes, the Japanese PM appeared as Mario, and there was a massive samba carnival party to end!
