M2 rail is best with clan battles and moderate distant battles. M2 thunder is best for close-moderate distant battles. M2 hornet is a good early m2 hull to use because of its versatility with many turrets. M2 Viking is a powerhouse if you like to drug.

NEVER EVER MU any turret or hull that isn't m3. M2 rail is a very good turret to have along with m2 hornet because one, its one of the best winning combos in the game, and second most m2 clans would almost immediately accept you with m2 rail hornet combo, that is if you are into clan matches. To me, m2 hornet and m2 Viking are a necessity to have in your garage just because they both provide a different form of gameplay with each as well as a variety when playing. Viking isn't the best hull to put with railgun, although it could work. I have both hulls m2 and they both helped me to win many CTF matches as well as catch many golds.

M2 freeze is a very powerful and effective in CTF battles. However, in CP DM, and TDM battles, it isn't as much of an effective turret as it would be in CTF. Freeze can be a game changing turret in CTF matches. Its ability to slow a hull right in its tracks even if it has drugs on is very strong. I can remember being on the losing team of many CTF matches and my teammates always asking of we had any freeze players to help defend the flag. With M2, you would be able to play with colonels and still be a major factor in the game. Of course, you have to remember that m2 freeze is one of the weaker of the m2s. It's one of the first m2s you can get, so as you rank higher and higher, it will become much weaker compared to other m2 combos. Freeze is most effective with teamwork. If you are fighting alone, it can get pretty tough. Paints to fear for are inferno, python, rustle, and hohloma. Any tank drugged with these paints on will be able to easily escape your freeze affect. If I'm using m2 fire and Viking as well as my MUd python, I can easily overtake 3-4 freezes attacking me at once with drugs on. Just a few things to consider. Hope I helped :)

Loam is a very good paint to use only if you will be defending in a not so exposed area. Any long range turret, such as shaft, thunder, rail, and smoky could easily take you out if they are a good distance away and you have a portion of your hull exposed to them. Another thing to think about is firebird m3 is unlocked at the commander level, so you may not see too many if your battling in battles of your rank that cap at Field Marshalls. In my experience, you see players at the Brigadier-Marshal rank using early m3s or higher m2s. I rarely see any generals using m2 fire. Also, once m3 fire is available, Zues is unlocked just one rank later, and that provides an immediate 50% protection. Just a few things to consider. I personally wouldn't buy loam. Hope I helped :)

M1 rail and m1 dictator is an ok combo, but as you rank up, you may want to use a different hull to mount your railgun on, such as hornet and wasp. Dictator is a very good hull to use when parkouring with your friends and capturing gold boxes. However, m3 is unlocked at generalissimo, which means it shouldn't be the hull that u mainly use and depend on in battle.

1) if you love to parkour, have m3 freeze, and love to zoom around and have fun in battles. 2) You have any middle-long rang turret such as smoky, twins m3, prefer to defend rather than attack in most cases, don't mind not getting gold 3) if you can afford it and if you like a variety of gameplay. Just a few things to consider

this guy was probably one of the greatest players of the game....even better than noobest. @therussian

Nobody knows these guys.....but they're one of the original players of this game. @alar @cyberwillis @Mike @yesutin @Wonder @romanoflash @Olexandr @Leo Where are these guys now............wish they were still here though...

Dictator of course. Titan is too slow, there is that new 20 second warning so gold catching won't be like it was before, and if a player happened to get on top of you, you wouldn't be able to shake him off as easily as you would with dictator. And besides, I never see too many people using titan in any of those gold box youtube videos. Here are a few videos to check out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cItd-P1IlA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaNdLttlmHU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DLXE6ceOJM

Twins m2 with Viking m2 is a beast combo thanks to twins unlimited ammo and Vikings extreme stability. Smoky needs more of a tactical approach and may command more strategy to use against your opponents, but seeing that you are mainly an attacker, going all out on the twins may fit your style, especially if you have all three drugs on :D . Also, there aren't too many commonly used paints that provide substantial protection from twins at your rank, although just to name a few are roger, spark, and urban. Also, if you have m2 mammoth or m2 titan, you may as well be the king of defense in any battle with twins. Hope I helped :)

Hunter and Thunder are a very good combo together, although hunter may be a bit challenging in that it isn't quite as fast as hornet yet it still has that drift affect, which may be challenging and annoying at times (especially when you are completely drugged up). A better hull in my opinion for thunder is Viking just because it has more health, no drift, very steady, and thunder is not the kind of turret you want to rush your enemies with especially because of its self-damaging affect. A paint I would recommend to use, especially if you are to become a major thunder fighter, is to use a paint that protects you from thunder, such as Cedar. Due to thunder's self damaging ability, many of your opponents may get up in your face when your trying to shoot them in hopes that you may kill yourself or they kill you quicker. After Tanki implemented that self-destruct penalty, playing with thunder has become much tougher. I wouldn't recommend corrosion to much because it is much more suited for battling it out at the m1 level. Once you start leveling up into the Lieutenant ranks, the battles start to concentrate more on the m2 level. Just some things to consider. Hope I helped :)

Since I am mainly a CTF fighter, I'll say that I very commonly will see a mixture of tundras (very common), pythons, electra, corrosion, and jaguar at the colonel and lower level. I never bought railgun or thunder to begin with just because of all the protection paints out there for them. Most kit buyers will have emerald and prodigy, which provide 40+% protection to both turrets. Unless you are drugging with these turrets, fighting may be a struggle, especially when you can't rely on your teammates to help you. If I were you, I would totally go with m2 smoky. It is a BEAST, especially in numbers. The only paint however that may be a pain as you go to colonel level and above is savanna and needle, just because savanna is unlocked at the brigadier rank and needle was available to those who bought the m3 light kit. Other turrets you may also want to consider is m2 ricochet and m2 firebird just because you sell far less paints on the field that provide substantial protection to these turrets. The only downside however is that both are unlocked m3 at the Commander rank, which is a long way from now. Isida is another good turret to consider because its a very powerful m3 turret for CTF matches as well as well has staying on defense and just healing your comrades. However, electra and Irbis can be a pain. I think to compensate with all the paint protections nowadays however for thunder is that it is one of the earliest m3s you can unlock. In fact, its the first next to Isida. Just a few things to think about. Hope I helped :)

If I were you, I would just save and not rush to buy a paint. Remember, until you reach 4-star general and Marshall, there will always be a better version of your paint. When I was your rank, I waited months and months to rank and buy a paint worth using until at least the Brigadier level. I eventually bought python, MUd it a bit, and became one of the most powerful players on the field in CTF matches. You have to remember that playing at your level will be much different when playing at the colonel level. In most cases, people in the lower level warrant officers are still developing their own skill, tactics, and strategy to win. Now that smartcooldowns is in place, even more skill is needed to be able to know when to drug and not as well as which drug to use. If I were you, I would wait, see which turrets is most effective on you or just fits your playing style, and pick a paint that provides substantial health (at least 30% protection) and stick to it until you can buy an even better paint. I used this method on python and it has helped me capture flags, support my team, and get a bunch of gold boxes. Of course, this method is for the non-buyers of the game. If you do buy, it's a completely different story. Hope I helped :)

If I had to make the decision, I would probably go with smoky just because it is much more interesting to use in battle, it has that infamous critical hit, and force is overpowering (well so is twins). Twins is also pretty good, but it can get pretty boring overtime. Also, a lot of players would probably call you skilless and other because twins really only requires you to be able to press the spacebar and turn your turret. Also, twins can't shoot through players while smoky can. I would love to play with smoky with a titan and just sit in the back and pick out my enemies one by one while using a double power while an Izzy is healing me constantly :D .
-
Note: Inverno is the portugueese name for the paint "Winter." The overall decision comes down to whether you want protection from shaft or protection from ricochet. Unless you are battling in a large map such as Lost Temple and Highway, Shaft is not going to be as apparent or common as ricochet will. Of course, there will be that 1 or 2 shaft players in silence and superhov, but they normally are not the most problematic issue you would have to face. Based on your rank, I would recommend getting spark just because m2 ricochet is a very effective weapon during the ranks in which it's unlocked. So, spark would be the better weapon to go with in my opinion. However, for protection from shaft, Jade would be the better paint to go with. I mean why settle for second? Jade also protects you form smoky and thunder, not to mention that if MUd, Smoky and Jade can be 50% protection. Hope I helped :)

If I had a second account, I would just play around with it. I guess you could say it would be my testing account just to see what turrets and hulls I don't have are like. IDK hammer and the machine gun (which may be named Magnum) sound pretty fun. I would prefer to concentrate on one account and not go all out or serious on the other. Ehh it's your choice though. :)

Lol it was THE power house of its day. Now, its tied with titan......
-
Now all you have to do is do that at least 4 more times and you'll get most golds in a week for sure.
-
damn 6 months of no play......no more daily gifts. Let say each day has 30 days. 6 x 30 equals 180 days. Now, multiply that by 2.5k for the possible value of goods you could get. that adds up to around 450k. Of course, there is the double crystal card and pro battle pass, so if that takes up a 1/3rd of the gifts, then you would still be missing out on 300k crystals. Are you gonna be on just to get daily gifts?
-
I know. That's why there's always that rogue smoky or thunder that always manages to hit you after you turn around the corner with the enemy's flag. It just doesn't work with the physics of the map, so the Devs need to fix it.
-
I guess one thing the Devs could try to fix is the strange ability that railgun has sometimes when shooting another player. In certain instances, railgun shoots through the corner of the walls and still manages to kill the opponent, or me in some cases :P . Its sorta annoying and I wish tanki would fix this problem.

If you only want to buy either m3 freeze or m3 isida, I would recommend getting m3 isida just because it provides a more diverse gameplay. Don't get me wrong both are excellent turrets to have and both are very different. Isida is very effective in that you can both attack and defend depending on how you feel that day. Since isida has the ability to heal your teammates, you can always stick in the back during a CTF match and just heal any team member in need. Of course, isida is also considered one of the best turrets to use due to the fact that you heal yourself when attacking an opponent. I asked @lordmostafa a similar question and he said, "isida m3 is a VAMPIRE." Freeze is also a good weapon because it's unique in that it can stop your opponent in its tracts and cause them to move extremely slower. This is very useful in CTF battles. However, for freeze, the only way you can effectively get points in battle is by attacking your opponent and capturing flags. Seeing that you only have m3 hornet, you would be better off attacking then defending because any heavier hull like Viking and titan would be more suitable. I have seen many freezes use wasp and hornet and that proves pretty affective in killing an enemy, even when fully drugged. Really, its up to you. Both are good and you'll have a lot of fun using them. If I had the choice, I would go with Isida though. Hope I helped :)

Paints are great to MU especially the later m3 paints that can allow you to have 50% protection to 1-3 different turrets. However, don't MU turrets or hulls until they are M3. At max, they only reach around 70% effectiveness of the next upgrade, so once you start to see weapons of a higher grade, you're combo may become weak again. Instead, with those crystals, you should try to save up and buy more turrets and hulls to provide a diversity of game play, get more paints, and save for the next upgrade. Hope i helped :)
