    Let's Discuss Micro-Upgrades!

If you are going to MU your hornet railgun combo, only MU it 3-4 steps and nothing more. It costs too much, won't lower m1 or m2 or m3 price, and once you get into the next into the m1-m2-m3 battle stage, you're combo will begin to be one of the weaker tanks in the crowd. Trust me you want to wait to MU your weapons once they reach m3. I had to learn the hard way :( .

    Let's Discuss Micro-Upgrades!

NEVER EVER MU a turret or hull if it isn't M3. Trust me you want to save those crystals to buy other turrets and hulls or MU your m3 turret and hull. Believe me from personal experience. I blew off 70K crystals MUing my m1 Isida -_- in hopes that it would greatly lower the cost to get m2 isida. Not only did it not improve my gameplay too much but only lowered the m2 price by like 15k, which is nothing compared to the 70k i spent. Not only that, but the price only goes down when you fully upgrade a parameter, which commands a very high price. Trust me DON'T MU if it isn't m3.

    Let's Discuss PRO Battles

I think one of the main reasons why Tanki made such a change was to get players to buy? crystals in the game so that they could increase revenue in the game. It's possible that Tanki is trying to get players to spend their money on the game so that Tanki can promptly bring in the new major updates they promise to the players, such as the "new look" they plan on bringing in 2015, or so I've heard.
  4. I am not quite sure as to what some of the new kits may look like but based on my garage, I feel there may be new drug kits as well as a few new paint kits for people to buy. One new turret/hull kit which I'm sure will be officially available during Christmas is a field-marshal kit called the Cardinal, which features m3 titan and m3 twins. This kit popped up in the garage for a very short period of time a few weeks ago probably through some glitch in the system.

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

You may want to get a different paint more suitable for m3s later on as you go passed brigadier level because sandstone is pretty much an m2 type paint whereas once you passed brigadier, you will pretty much be battling it out among m3s as well for that gold, flag capture, and kill. A few good paints to consider I think are irbis, emerald and inferno just because you can get the relatively earlier than some other m3 paints plus they provide protection to turrets that can be upgraded to m3 in battle.

    Shotgun vs Machine gun

Its to early to tell tbh. Both turrets are not in normal gameplay and the shotgun was only available for a day on the test server. We should wait until both come out before we start comparing the garage statistics and different strategies and such before we really start comparing both turrets.

    Let's Discuss Paints!

A good rank to stop using corrosion I think is your rank just because you can buy so many other paints that are much better than corrosion. For example, if you look at sandstone, it provides protection from the SAME turrets as corrosion does, except sandstone increases protection by around 5%. At your rank, you also want to get a paint that will provide a pretty decent protection (30+%) from any turret u see to be the most dangerous in battle. Electra, Spark, Digital, Rustle, and Loam are also good paints to consider getting. But ultimately, you want to start transitioning to an m2 paint now that you pretty much fight in the m2 battles. Corrosion is very effective among m1s but gets weaker and weaker as you go up in rank. Hope I helped :)

    Let's Discuss Paints!

Rustle is an excellent and on of the best paints you could use in CTF matches at the m2 level and possibly the m3 level if you MU it a little bit. It provides protection 10% isida, 20% freeze, and a hefty 32% thunder. These 3 turrets are one of the most dangerous enemy turrets in CTF battles (especially the freeze). No doubt rustle is a better paint than swash. Another paint you may or may not want to consider buying, although I recommend you save your crystals for upgrading your turrets, is Loam. Firebird is one of the most powerful short range turrets one could use (and effectively) in CTF maches especially when a double power is one. There have been some cases where I'm using my m2 firebird and I see a clump of 6-8 enemy tanks and by using one double power, I'm able to destroy at least 5. Since smart cool downs came into effect, people are drugging a lot more than they used to. So, Loam would definitely prepare you for that drugging firebird (like me :P ) in the instant that you come face to face with one in battle. Hope I helped :)

What to buy? Which is better?

Whenever I take part in gen battles, you don't tend to see to many m3 dictators as you see m3 titans and m3 mammoths. All 3 are very good to get, so really its up to you and what style of gameplay you prefer. For example, Dictator is excellent for catching gold boxes as well as taking part in parkour competitions and just having fun with your friends. On the other hand, titan is a very good hull in that it is fast and pretty much works well with any mid-long range weapon that has a relatively fast/moderate reload time such as smoky. Maybe that new machine gun turret coming out works really well with titan after they showed that combo in the V-log. Of course, if you want to go old school and go with the all original power house, then go with m3 mammoth. Mammoth is one of those hulls that has always been there. A mammoth fully drugged is practically impossible to stop and with twins OMG the other team's toast. But really, its all up to you to get because all 3 are excellent and provide a unique outlook in gameplay. Hope I helped :)

    Good luck ;)

What to buy? Which is better?

hey greyat :) If I were you, if I had a choice between getting m2 dictator and m2 titan, I would probably choose m2 titan just because it is a better version of m2 mammoth and also because its m3 is unlocked much sooner than dictator. Of course, if thunder is one of your favorite weapons, MUing will considerably give you the upper edge on many other players especially at our rank because of the lack of availability for other m3s. Hope I helped :)

What to buy? Which is better?

Like everyone said, always go for the turret before going to the paint. One thing you have to remember is there is always a better paint to buy than corrosion. Also, rail and hornet will get you to join pretty much any clan as long as they accept you.
  13. jazz20

What to buy? Which is better?

Always go for the turrets because there is always a better paint to buy in the future.

What to buy? Which is better?

At the m1 level, tryout as many of the turrets as you can. Getting able to know what each turret is like as well as its physics, properties, and purpose can really help you know what kind of player you want to be. The same goes for the hulls as well. In the higher ranked battles, I see a lot of Vikings being successful in battle because of the fact that it pretty much works for any turret as long as you know how to use it. Ricochet commands a lot of skill to use properly. It is also powerful in maps like Rio and Silence. Rail gun is good to get if you are really into clans. Having an m2 rail will pretty much get you into most m2 and some m3 clans. I would try to get a paint that fits better for the type of opponents you will be facing in battle. For example, Tundra is one of the best paints you could get because of its 30% protection from rail. Other paints to also consider is Cedar, Python, and Electra. These paints provide protection to Thunder, Freeze, and Isida all in the 30% plus other turrets. Go for a paint that provides good protection than a paint that provides so-so protection. Hope I helped :)

What to buy? Which is better?

Based on experience, I see a lot more Vikings m2 being more successful in battle than dictators m2. The reason being is first of all, Viking m3 is unlocked at a much earlier rank than m3 dictator. The difference is like 600k experience points. Also, Viking is THE drug hull. Due to its health/speed/stability, once it has a double power or a double health on, it becomes one of the most dangerous hulls on the field. Also, Viking is one of those universal hulls that pretty much works with any turret as long as you know how to use them. Also, viking is great because it has no drift, which can allow you to move throughout the map without having to look where your going as you shoot and kill enemy tanks following you. I play almost everyday and I see a lot more Vikings on the field than dictators. Also, just to put things into perspective, when both hulls are at m4, Viking has the same amount of health as dictator. If I were you, I would buy Viking m2 based on my experience. Hope I helped :)

    Beginner's Guide

I have been in some pretty major battles, and I can say confidently that Viking is one of the best hulls you could use for rico. The reason being is because Viking is a very strong and stable hull, so you won't be too affected by Rico's kick like you would by hornet. Hunter, titan, and mammoth are also very good with rico because of their stability, although hunter not as much. There is a variety of awesome combos. For example, a very powerful m2 combo for close combat battles would be fire Viking/hunter, thunder and Viking, isida hornet, freeze/wasp, and rail hornet. For farther battles, thunder Viking, smoky hornet/Viking/hunter, rail and hornet, and shaft in some special cases is very powerful. Paints depend more on which turret is featured in the battle. Python has proved super effective for me, although only in CTF matches. In DM CP, and XP battles, python is nearly worthless. Hope I helped :)

What to buy? Which is better?

Hey Anuj10. So, one thing you want to note when buying a paint for the m1-m2 level is this: you want a paint that will provide decent but not super protection from a certain turret, but will definitely benefit you in gameplay especially when faced with the turret. Sandstone is a very good paint to get because it provides protection from FOUR turrets, which means you can use the paint in pretty much all forms of combat. One thing I would recommend based on experience is to get more than one paint. This allows you to be able to have a more potential protection from many more turrets than just having one paint would protect you from. For example, Digital, which provides 35% protection from railgun, is available to you at your next rank. Then, one rank after that, Rustle, which provides 32% protection from paints, becomes available. The reason for why I recommend you buy 2 paints and minimally MU them (the railgun and thunder parts) is because I made the error if buying only one m2 paint and completely relying on it to this very day. This paint was python and even though it proves deadly and super helpful in battles like CTF, it is very weak and pretty much worthless in Death Match and XP battles. However, on my other account, I bought 3 different paints that provided substantial protection from 3 different turrets. Whenever I am in a battle, I choose the paint based on the most prevalent turret on the enemy's side, and well, this helps me much better than on my account which has only 1 paint. Hope I helped :)

What to buy? Which is better?

In my opinion, hunter is a very good hull to use. I guess one could say it is a mixture between hornet and Viking, in that it has a fair amount of health but also is rather quite fast and has the drift affect. Right away, I would recommend you to get m2 firebird, rail, and smoky because first of all, all turrets work well with hornet. The hornet is a very good hull. It is versatile, fast, and it is one of the first m3s you can get. Not only that, but m2 rail looks very good in clan resumes (for xp battles), m2 fire is one of the most powerful and deadly close-range m2 hulls available (especially with a double power), and m2 smoky with its critical hit is by far one of the best m2s available. You have the best chance with smoky when battling it out with the m3s. One thing to also note is this, in drug battles, Viking will always win when compared to hunter. Even though hunter may have a bit more speed and be able to push Viking out of the way, the speed to health ratio in Viking is much better than that in hunter. Also, through my experience in the game, you see many more hornets and Vikings in battle than you see hunters. In fact, hunter m2 becomes far weaker especially among m3s after your reach 3-star general rank. M3 hunter is available once you reach Commander, which is a long way for the both of us :P . TBH, hunter becomes increasingly better if you MU it, but of course, you have to set aside at least 300k crystals to effectively MU it. So, based on my experience, I would focus on hornet as well as get digital, m2 smoky, m2 rail, and m2 fire instead of transfer to m2 hunter because of the more variety you'll have in battle as well because hunter is basically a combo between Viking and Hornet. If I were you, what I do is buy a heavier hull, such as Viking. Viking is very powerful and one of the best m2 hulls. Hope I helped :)

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

I just played on the test server and the shotgun is going to be called the Hammer, or that's what it was called in the test server. TBH its a very very powerful gun when used properly. With a double power on, it can destroy a titan up close in two shots, which can go off in a split second together. An interesting thing to note however is once you fire that third shot in the barrel, the hammer won't let u shoot until it completely reloads again, meaning if u fire the 3 shots all at once, you have to wait around 5-7 seconds. It is one of the more powerful weapons in the game. I think the ideal hull for the turret would be viking. Hunter is a bit too wavy and the hammer needs a steady hull to aim correctly. Hornet is very weak and can be killed instantly if faced with another hammer. Titan and Mammoth are ok, but since the Hammer is mainly a close range weapon, any opposing thunder, railgun, rico, or even twins could prove deadly. Its a very fun and tactical weapon but like rico, I think it will command much strategy to be used efficiently. Sure you can ring out 3 shots and destroy an enemy instantly, but after that, you're vulnerable for a relatively long period of time. The strategy would have to come into the timing of each shot as well as judgement in range and which enemy to target. The turret gives a rather poor sense of range and you don't really know how effective the turret is at a farther distance. Its turning speed is also rather moderate. Overall, a very interesting and fun turret to use.

  21. The Devs should have promotions to popularize other maps like maybe have a secret 2000 or 3000 gold box falling randomly in some unpopular map. It would really make players explore other maps. They could even make this a weekly thing, like make this event one day per week. I think one of the main reasons why players leave is the lack of variety seen in the game. The battles are always Silence, Superhov, Noise, Sandbox, Polygon, Stadium all day everyday. There are at least 25 other awesome maps that really make you focus on a completely different form of game play and strategy. Plus such an event would hype up game play and we would see more players in each server. That's just my opinion of course. Would the Devs really care????

    Titan VS. Mammoth

my very first hull before rebalance was titan......it was an awful hull. It was slow, barely any turning speed, lowered health, and frankly awful. It was too big of a target and anything from any distance could hit it. Titan today is much better than what it used to be. Often times if one came across an m3 titan in battle, it was quite a site.
