    Noobs playing tanki. Teamkick problem

Hi adil, I know what it's like to be kicked from a good fair battle. Using team-kick in that way is an abuse and is cheating. Small consolation, at least in the first battle they lost. I feel your pain for the second game. Can you come up with any solutions to submit to feedback. They do get read and if you hit on a good idea, the chances are your idea will get discussed in a meeting - maybe even implemented. Here is a simple proposal: At the point you were kicked by those players in your team, you receive a message on screen - "your fellow players have kicked you from the battle by... (list of players)" - Addendum: "... you will receive xxx crystals if your team wins", meaning your share of the battle fund is preserved, based on the figures when you were kicked. When the battle ends, the battle fund allocation for your side gets adjusted before it distributed to the remaining players. The players who kicked you would think twice about kicking you if, [a] - they knew you'd get a share and - if there was a chance of them getting caught, what with so many players recording battles these days. Further proposal: When a player uses team kick, a further input box is presented waiting for you to select a reason... () Inactivity () Sabotage () Hacking etc... For team kick to work, players all have to come up with the same reason. These could be made to work and wouldn't take a long time to implement. What do you think?

    gold box

This happened to me back in February, it happened when there was a glitch in the game and the enemy was invisible. Luckily, I had the video to email to help@tankionline.com who then credited me with the crystals. They need proof.

FRAUSTED OF DRUGGERS (supplies users )

A solution needs to be found that does not upset money flow and also enhances the balance of the game. There are things that can be done to make things fairer. Here is one on feedback.

If you've got nothing good to say or you think the topic doesn't apply to you, move on to the next one. It's not compulsory for you to comment and nobody is holding a gun to your heads forcing you to. What's wrong with a little public acknowledgement for someone who has made a positive impact in their recent appointment? There's no harm here until the "pointless" and "silly" jibes. Seriously guys?

I was just thanking Semyon for his helpfulness in a pm and then I saw this! Shame I could only select one raido button. "so do u think he is the best and smart admin?" Currently 18 yes, 5 no.Guess 5 staff members think they're better then! :D Since he took over as manager, you have to admit, he's really made some changes for the better and is moving the game and forum forward. He's very approachable and never gets angry with our daft questions. Proper pro. Lick, lick, cringe, cringe, fawn, fawn.

Interesting. The General Content structure just had a revamp and that was welcome but I think you're right. More changes would be beneficial. I don't know about you but I think that if sub-sections are permitted, in the way Forum Games is a sub of Off Topic, then a solution might go something like this... General (anything tanki including screenshots, videos etc) - Off Topic (eg/ What movies do you like) - Forum Games (eg/ Name a city using the last letter of the last city) - Popular Topics (When a topic becomes popular, move it here - eg/ photo of the day) FAQ (What is... How do I... Where... etc) - Problems & Solutions (Technical problems, loss of crystals and experience points.) Violators (Here you can complain about cases of breaking the rules of the game.) Gameplay (Discussion of turrets, hulls and maps.) If you can't give a section a one line explanation then there is something wrong and amendments are required. If you don't have a proper structure then you don't have proper rules! Criticism is one thing, contributing and suggesting solutions is too, getting angry and telling folk to shut up is another. That's an invitation to shut this topic down right there.

So it has to be "needed" does it? The result of that logic means that anything that isn't deemed needed can and will be closed. Sometimes players want to simply discuss some aspect or other that might be considered by some to be irrelevant or, (that overused word in these forums), pointless. 3. - It is also prohibited to create new forum threads and posts that: 3.1. - Deal with issues recently discussed and/or questions whose answers are contained in the standard help information (Rules, FAQ, Plans and so on). Please use Search to find answers to your questions. Be attentive and make sure you look through the existing threads before making a new one. Remember, your reluctance to use other people's written experience works against you. Long-time forum members are tired of seeing new topics with the same old questions. So don't be surprised if your thread is locked or deleted, and you receive a warning; Encouragement is what is needed, not prohibition. Tanki needs to relax a little and lessen their grips on players throats. eg/ if someone posts a question like, "Where can I find a list of ranks in the game", don't go mad and issue warnings, delete or lock the topic. Staff don't need to interject unless the op is given bad advice by others. The forum will look after itself to a certain degree so read it and move on if it's not for you. The forum isn't just for "Long-time forum members". Moderation is good in moderation. Too many rules restrict what posts can and can't be discussed. Go beyond the confines of these limitations and you get banned. Get banned for something trivial and you stop contributing and buying. Not good for the player and not good for tanki. And while I'm ranting, :P , these wannabe mods who are not staff, who enter any given topic to just post "pointless topic" or "close this topic" because they can't identify with it should be given, in my opinion, negative reputation at the very least. Stop acting like mods. You know who you are! Earn your brownie points in a positive way for a change!

You choose the discount on August 8!

I feel your pain. You best vote for the turret that is the least effective on your favourite paint.

Why the Railgun frenzy? Sure it's good in the very early ranks on a few maps but I'm bewildered how it's managed to streak ahead in the voting. I found Twins or Isida to be good in the middle ranks.

I came across this on the feedback site today which was posted a couple of months ago. "Hi, In the English section of the forum, the moderators close down too many topics, too fast. I personally think it's killing the forum. The forum is a public place for people with the same interest to converse thoughts and ideas. The aggressive manner in which the moderators close down topics for no reason at all really does kill conversation. I personally think that this is off putting. I haven't visited the forum for many months, hoping that it would have changed in the mean time but it hasn't! This is sad for tanki!" Semyon Kirov (Комьюнити-менеджер) updated 2 months ago "This has already been discuss with the staff. Topics will not get closed so fast as long as nobody's breaking any rules and the discussion stays on topic" My reply - still awaiting moderation (and will probably never get published) posted 21 hours ago "There was a short period when things improved with regard to topics being closed too quickly. Sadly, the urge to lock threads almost as soon as they appear has once again resurfaced and killed conversation. There is little point of looking at the forum when all you see is a column of padlocks. Totally killed it. Improvement is needed if you want people to engage each other. " Couldn't agree more and welcome to tanki's black list of unwelcome, ungrateful criticisers.

    Make Rewards More Democratic!

Good this topic is on page 1. I know it's a month old but I was going to create a new topic about the formula used to distribute the battle fund. Don't tell me to use the search please because I've searched over an hour with no luck. I've also posted to FAQ and no response. The battle fund distribution formula - Where can I get it?

Not sure where to post this

No, it should be what I said as the Rules Topic is entitled Violators Section Rules. Nice quote but that only works when you actually want to use ignorance as an excuse or defence. I didn't - therefore it does not apply in my case as I knew the rule already. I didn't forget the rule either. But I reckon you're right, "a not-quite-perfect translation" is a generous way of putting it. It's still wrong and needs changing though.

Not sure where to post this

Reason: Ignorance of complaints section rules Ignorance: The lack of knowledge or education I was banned for "ignorance" even though I knew the rule. I thought I was posting to a topic in General but ,as it turned out, forgot I was in Complaints. So the reason for my ban didn't make sense at the time. The reason given needs to change because it doesn't always apply. Ignorant: The word ignorant is an adjective describing a person in the state of being unaware and is often used as an insult to describe individuals who deliberately ignore or disregard important information or facts. The wording for the Reason from now on should simply be: Reason: Violators section rules - Rule 1 The recent changes made to the layout are much appreciated but they still don't help those who know the rule and make genuine mistakes. Accusing somebody of Ignorance is not a good way to treat customers. I've not spent any money on the game since. More needs to be done in this area. I explained all this in pms to staff and to help@tankionline but they did not overturn the ban. Edit: Please don't lock this topic just yet. Thanks.

    Questions for the moderators/admins

I'd like to see some kind of crystal reward for informants. Making screenshots and videos can be time consuming and it's all in the name of keeping tanki clean and fair. A reward would encourage players to rat out cheats and we would have a much fairer battle ground to play on in no time at all. I've just noticed this on feedback so I gave it a +1.

Covering up the amount of supplies and crystals I have is obvious. Less obvious is why I'd want to cover my rating or my progress to next rank. You're right. It doesn't matter a great deal but it does add to the mystery. It made you curious B) It probably did. But I got GOLD :D
