Feedback - Awaiting Moderation
Repair-Kit replied to Repair-Kit in Feedback - Awaiting Moderation Archive
Hiya - hope someone can help. I visited feedback, registered, signed in and submitted a couple of ideas. One in Garage/Functional and one in Game Mechanics/Points and Fund. There is a problem that nobody can see it because they're "Awaiting Moderation" for some reason. Probably because I registered. Who moderates it and can they sort it. Maybe I should have stayed Anonymous. Thanks, Pete -
I asked that question when I was your rank too. Threads tend to get closed pretty quickly around here, even in off-topic. Ideas and suggestions go to feedack despite what the subtitle says. They'll get around to removing it one day.

How on Earth did you get up there?

Massive Viking pinching our flag doing a wheelie

I thought I understood this but it turns out I don't. What is the mechanism behind having all those options for votes for the blue team and none for the red or is it that we can't see the opposition's? So did a moderator come in and do this or is it automatic and a customised view just for me? It was a fair battle from what I seen and I thought everyone was trying.

I would have thought the whole idea behind Product Kits is to encourage people spend real money. Making one item 50% off as a single offer would only encourage players to save up game crystals to make that purchase. A whole kit on the other hand would mean players have to buy. Example, m3 viking, m3 shaft, Inferno paint, 100 of each supply would be 596,800 crystals. 50% discounted = 298,400. Even the best player couldn't earn this in many months of play and even if they decided to take that route, they'd be hopelessly be over-ranked and under-equipped to make the game any fun so they'll probably leave the game. On the other hand, I'm sure tanki would like $200 from one player to get their custom m3 setup.

It would be better if you could do this. I've suggested an "Add To Basket" option in feedback Who Benefits from this latest (and most welcome) attempt to make things more affordable? When the weapons kits come out, there might be a bundle on offer for my rank containing a m3 isida, m3 hornet and Irbis paint which would be no benefit to me as I already have those things. The chances of a kit appearing in my garage that I will be able to take advantage of will be extremely slim. Like these random 50% sales discounts, eg, 50% off smoky upgrades - Tanki know that many will not be in a position to take advantage of the offer and only a select few will benefit. Crafty strategy from Tanki? I do not know! As you say, a Custom Kit would be better, that way, it benefits everyone - including Tanki.

Couldn't agree more. I've posted a solution on the feedback site which might get your interest. Love to hear your input there.

The drugs you get in a week isn't enough to help you through one competitive CTF match where supply-rich opponents come in and wave after wave, they employ double armor, double power, nitro, First-aid and mines when it suits. In the last 3 days, I have not got any drugs from tanki. Two times Buyx2 and one No Supply Pass is what I've got. I will be monitoring this daily from now on and maybe supply a graph at a later date for players to discuss. I play most evenings and weekends and I find it difficult to save drugs up, which is generally a line high ranking and/or rich drugging players use to scupper attempts to bring about change which might affect their dominance. No, it's a welcome attempt to make things more affordable but more needs to be done as I mentioned on page2.
-
With the new supply bundles on offer in the garage, I'm sure now drugs will be all the more widespread, meaning, fairness and balance is more of an issue than ever. I've already submitted this to feedback but I'd like more discussion if possible to see if this idea can be honed a bit.

Happy to see this exciting feature in action. Glad there are safe guards in place to minimise misuse. Good job!

This bundle idea is a welcome step in making supplies more affordable to the less well off players of tanki but those richer players who were able to afford to use over 30 or more of each supply, in every game I seem to play on these days, will now be able to buy double. Players who are unable to put their spending money or disposable income into the Tanki coffers will now be 3rd class tanki participants, unable to protect themselves against players half a dozen ranks below them. Drugs will always be part of the game and I'm sure I'll get the inevitable 'There's always the No Supplies Battle Pass & Free Gift' excuses, but something more needs to be done to make games fairer. In the end, the winning of matches is not determined by skill, it's down to how many drugs you can get. Here's a Scoring Solution to Drugging in CTF matches which would make those 3rd class players feel a little better. I've already submitted it to feedback, Good ideas evolve and get better when people discuss them.

DTF match - Thou shalt not pass!

We didn't plan this. Kind of just happened by chance. How funny would it have been for a Red Team tank to be pictured grabbing the flag on the right :) -
I've not tried bandicam. I have fraps. Things that can help with lag. c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 7 c:\fraps\fraps.exe That line is my shortcut to my fraps recording software. I have a quad core pc and this makes fraps use just two processors. Movies record to a 2nd drive. Maybe you can modify for bandicam.

haha, thanks tanki, just noticed this posted on your facebook wall. :)

Let's do the math to see who is silly shall we. Before I start, I can't remember what the normal price is but I'm guessing it's around $6.44 for 10,000 crystals. Let's say I want to add 600,000 crystals to my account. Without any offers this would cost me about: $385 With the double crystal card, I don't have to buy 600,000, I only have to buy 300,000 which is about: $195 Because Paypal gives me an extra 25%, I don't need to spend $195 but more like, $155 What is the saving to me? $230 It's like I'm getting an extra 360,000 crystals free. Some people are just jealous I guess so calling what you do, "silly", is their only recourse. Math is your friend. If you're going to buy, buy when you have a double crystal card and when tanki has a discount. ps, I'm only a Major General, it will be months before I get to fully spend my purchase, but I'll be damned in the meantime if I'm just going to be cannon fodder for the likes of iknat1. Where's the pleasure in that? It's a wise investment. As I said, thanks Tanki!

Jumped the gun a bit there kinat1 - I already have some crystals and have left room for crystals I'm going to earn until then. I won't every buy experience or drugs at these prices. So not silly at all. I've used my brain. Do you have one of those? Maybe you tell me how long it takes you to earn 613600 crystals without buying! But I doubt you have a brain because let's look at your argument. If I was going to buy the experience points, how doest mean I can spend all my money on drugs? I mean, it doesn't make any sense to a rational English speaking person. If you're going to insult somebody by calling them "silly", at least ensure your argument is coherent and logical.
