  3. They are not too busy, but there are literally thousands of posts every day in the forums, to answer everyone's posts individually would take an army of staff to answer. and many times the answers are not available, but I see developers and administration viewing topics on a daily basis in the effort to aid them in making improvements and resolve issues. I also have seen changes in the game and forum over the last two years reflecting all the concerns players have had, with huge improvements to the game and forums in almost every area that concerned players over this time period. I find many players don't see many of the developers comments, most players never read the Developers news, or read the main game launch page or links. There are also links to wiki, StarLadder, twitter, facebook, google+, VK, instgam, and YouTube with tons of content. There is always room for improvement. I have found that many of the answers are out there for the Tanki Community, finding it is the challenge ;)
  4. There is already an Official CyberSport Topic http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=210880&do=findComment&comment=3744605 , created by Our highest authority in CS @SuperNick95. The truth is, the forums EN, RU, and DE moderators and administrators have little, to no input into Tanki administration and development, I believe the Forum mods and administrator are only here to maintain the forum, post news, and contests. The Tankionline administration, marketing, and developers, read the forums quite often to get input and get a feel of the communities happiness, concerns and suggestions from the players posts. (Yes it would be nice for them to get involved personally in our forum more than the press releases issued by our forum administrators, but they are very busy people, they cannot spend hrs chatting with forum members) They have listened quite intently to all the players comments and concerns over the years , and continue to improve the game, from the early days of Hacker heaven to creating a unified tournament system, giving players access to create their own tournaments and giving rewards for successful ones, to game development of maps, turrets, hulls etc. increasing funds, lowering costs for crystals, many discounts, and many, many rewards and prizes for contests and participation in Social media events.
  5. Well if you intend on buying at any time during your career, then go for the score multiplier, no supply pass, drug kit, and KILL, KILL, KILL in DM's. You will rank fast. Choose what ever hull and turret you feel gives you the most and fastest kills, getting a kit will give you an advantage like light and medium M1 kits would be good choices. Get as much hornet/wasp and Railgun experience you can, make a duelling topic and go one on one for skills and play XP battles. As far as turrets and hulls, for tourney you will need Hornet, Wasp, Hunter, Viking, Rail, Smoky, Needle, Prodigi, Savanna, and Dirty. to keep the finances at bay Don't buy every hull and turret, just the primary Kill machine you choose and just keep buying with best discounts you are offered and save up for the M3 kits when your rank allows. or major 50% off sales when they come around.

  8. Times are a problem for everyone, yes I feel times are definitely in favour of MSK Moscow Standard Time, games have been held from 6 pm to 10 pm Moscow time, this allows 99% of Russian and central Europe while the USA, Canada, and south America Central Time is 9 am to 1 pm, only unemployed and retired (24 million) :P are available, or must re-arrange their entire life to play, while players from England and Asia have a much easier time ranging from 4 pm to the latest 1 am. Unfortunately it is the best overall time for most of the world to play, I think that Tankionline could have stepped up to explain all this in more detail to everyone. Personally I would enjoy playing on the week-ends at 8 am to 11 am MSK, that is 11 pm to 2 am US Central time. We players from North and South America just have to face the fact that we cannot make the rest of the world play at 2 am to 6 am in order to appease us.
  9. You can't buy skills, but it doesn't take 2 years to learn the intricacies of tournament play, if you buy and aquire an M3 garage in 8 to 12 months and you are familiar with MMO shooter games, you can easily get into tournament play and start winning, there are thousands of professional gamers out there looking for a new tournament adventures to get involved in, but in Tanki, to start a career and aquire the required equipement and rank without buying takes at least 14 to 16 months, with buying you can cut that time almost in half. Maybe it took you 2 + years to learn how to play tanki, If you have been playing League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy and others, the basics of Voice chat, advanced tactical gameplay and accurate keyboard skills will easily allow pro games to transition into this game and become deadly on the battlefield in 8 months.
  10. Stop that Isida!!! That’s the last flag, and he didn’t see the GOLD BOX notification! Tanki made my tank so slow, I can’t get to our base before he gets there. Forget about the gold for me guys, at least I can turn around quickly to see it fall. xD. Said Mammoth I wish friendly fire was on, I’d cook that Isida. Said Firebird GOLD BIL! GOLD BIL! Cton Isida. Says the Twins Oh, please stop him, the other team ran when he grabbed the flag, and I'm by myself on the bridge waiting for the gold box to drop.
  11. I think self destruct should only penalize the player who does it in DM matches and TDMs where the point of the battles is strictly kills, and is widely used by players to alter the outcome of battle it could also give the player or players who have wounded him extra points for the kill, in capture the flag and capture points it really doesnt matter that much and can easily be used by mults to alter the outcome of the game.
  12. SWEDE1's outlook of update, red = needs work yellow = close to acceptable levels green = well balanced Isida is just a little underpowered, it takes a full charge at close range to kill any tank, if you get hit by anyone you will be pushed out of range. Railgun is a little overpowered still, any damage from even a weak hit from another gun and you are dead. Thunder is slightly overpowered, thought it was just about right before update. Ricochet is good now, but could use a few more 2 or 3 more shots, before cool down period. Freeze is better now, it is still great at close range and weaker at distances, but distance was reduced just a bit too much. Twins is a little on the weak side for distance, it should be able to shoot a bit further. Firebird is good now, only reload times could be lengthened just a bit more. Smoky has gotten slightly overpowered again at close distances, but still close to where it should be and impact force is too much even making mammoths miss shots, one smoky shot shouldn't be able to turn a mammoth from across the battlefield. Shaft is become slightly overpowered, reload times on sniper mode are too quick and I feel damage should be lessened at great distances. Wasp, , Viking, Dictator, and Hunter seem to be very good now, will test further on these. Hornet is just a bit too fast now but like the manoeuvrability and I am getting used to it. Titan, and Mammoth are too slow Health kits, I like the fact that they will heal you fully but they heal to fast, I liked the fact that it took a bit of time to heal and you had to be stealthy till you healed.
  13. I didn't even know about it till last night. on skype in leader chat review. Another reason to have a clan news chat in English forum :/

    New supply

I think it turns your tank into a platform so your tank can't move but your armour is increased 4x, or an autogun placed like a mine and has a limited life but can shoot at any target that comes into range
  15. Yes, my garage is almost complete with many 200k+ paints in my garage. to answer your question; Yes it is possible to battle at high ranks with one combo such as hornet/rail, or viking/freeze but it will get very boring and limit what maps you play, The access to garage in battle has changed the landscape of the battlefield and having options will benefit you greatly. If you go into battle with rail and your opponents find you dangerious, they will all put on prodigi and greatly reduce your ability to be effective, so waiting for them to change then change to another turret like smoky/ thunder/ or rico will make you victorious very quickly.
  16. As a player who is almost a Generalissimo, I can still remember my humble beginnings in Tanki. When I started it was very exciting, hulls and turrets were quite inexpensive to purchase as M0 even with the tiny funds given at low ranks and basically not a drugger in sight. Then came the first shock, only enough crystals saved for a couple M1s, what to buy, and why did I buy all the M0s. I finally decided on hornet, rail, and thunder. Broke again, working night and day battling for hours and hunting crystals and the occasional gold box that fell without warning "that was the most fun in tanki to see that gold box just suddenly appear before you". Then the Druggers came into the scene, and I was forced just as you are now to look endlessly for games where I was highest rank so that I could avoid the main drug wars, I almost gave up Tanki all together. I didn't think I could ever get any further in the game, and I couldn't understand how or why these guys could drug non-stop in battle. I couldn't afford a no supply pass, still with very small funds for each battle and with less chance than ever to actually win without 100 or more drugs to use for each battle to combat the higher ranks. My pleas were heard by a few nice players,@EVISITORS was one of them and he said "don't give up hope, join a team and make some friends, so I tried it and I started to have fun again in the game, we played together, and against other teams without the druggers, we also teamed up in random battles and got quite skilled to combat the druggers with great success using teamwork. It was some of the best times in Tanki. Finally I was able to buy firebird and a few M2s and a couple paints. Still not enough no supply games to warrant getting a no supply pass and the ever increasing cost of M2s and paints became totally out of reach again having spent every crystal I had saved up for many months, and the huge need to acquire M3s that were emerging in all the battles I was getting into at this point. I was feeling very out gunned. This was my second major Tanki career decision, Quit Tanki or Buy crystals to compete, well I guess you can see which option I chose, at this point I was totally hooked and had invested too much time to give up the game I grew to love. $40 with a DCC and I was rolling in crystals, went on a shopping spee and got a great garage, even got some drugs for a little payback. This is where I hoped the game would get interesting again, I Joined Top gun, it was great and very much like playing with the team before, ran a well organised and friendly group, we had lots of fun and had members of many ranks. we started getting into some great battles against well known players of high rank in established clans, we practised together regularly and had played with honour and pride. But this was not to be the way of clans and teams of the future, Tanki created our first tournament to divide the clans into leagues, braking up into groups based on garage, and segregating the Generalissimos from the rest of the high ranks and mid ranks and so on, all of a sudden we were being discriminated against for not all being Generalissimo buyers with full garages and all the clans were in upheaval pushing all their players to buy so they could move up into higher leagues or even fight to stay in the league they were placed, this changed the landscape of the clan system, from friendship to greed and the clans started shopping for players enticing the good ones to switch clans, and kicking out players who didn't meet the standards or participate enough, others looked at their team mates, if they weren't all buyers or as high a rank, they made the decision to run to a stronger clan. These were hard times for clans and many great players left the game because of it. More and more of this has continued over the last year with many, many disputes, ill will, and spiteful behaviour among clans and members, many clans closing there doors forever. With the arrival of this newest tournament system being moved away from this forum, and basicly the closure of all clans as we know it in Tanki, the forum will lose its most active members voices and the forum will become just a place to complain about violators and the occasional contest. But getting back to druggers and equipement, as you get into higher ranks the rewards for winning are much higher and your daily gifts of drugs and crystals are much greater giving you the ability to partake in drug wars and buy things much easier.
  17. I originally posted this to talk with lower rank players, but after getting into more depth I decided it really has a lot to say about Cybersports and the direction we have been led. As a player who is almost a Generalissimo, I can still remember my humble beginnings in Tanki. Tanki Online: Mobile Version

The new mobile version is out now, they only have one server randomly chosen for you (when I went in it was server 14), only in russian, and its available on VK http://vk.com/tanki_online just register and launch game. Not sure if its fully functional yet but tanki said it would be out any day now and it makes sense that they would promote VK so much to get people to register.
  19. Sorry to all of you non buyers who have taken offence to this topic, but I have writen this to help gamers who have been watching StarLadder tournaments online and have visited the forum and asked me how they can join a starladder team and how long it will take to get to the rank required to play. When I tell them without buying it will take 1 1/2 to 2 years, they just about drop dead. No other game they have ever played took more than 2 or 3 months to get to a competitive level. They then ask me if there are ways to advance faster and so I came up with this guide to help players like that with the means and ambition to reach a competitive level faster.
  20. You obviously didn't read my post here. First line "New to Tankionline"
  21. If you want to do it without buying and wait 1 1/2 to 2 years to get into StarLadder then follow my tips here http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=184384&view=findpost&p=3253728
  22. I am just stating that the procedures I have stated here is how you achieved your rank and garage in 6 months, of course you deserve full credit for coming up with these Ideas on your own, you are exactly the type of player that should use this guide, you had money and natural talent, as well as a desire to get to tournament level play in the shortest possible time. As far as DMs go that is only the means to acquire rank quickly, but varied gameplay is important to hone your skills, I stated that clearly in you topic "Buy Hornet and Rail, you need to be very skilled with this combo to be a STAR in tournaments." and also in reference to other posts in this guide. This topic is not aimed at current Tanki players but new players who are just now joining the game with the only interest in getting into StarLadder tournaments
  23. There was a player who follower my guide to the T, CHAMPION unfortunately he didn't follow Tankionline rules either and has now ended up in the same boat as you, He was a shining star in the tournament circuit too :(
  24. Obviously you are not interested in a Tanki career quickly, its taken you a year and a half to get to your current rank. At this rate you will be able to join a team in StarLadder in another year or so. You have proven you can get there without buying, wait your rank is still too low and you have been playing now for 2 years. Dictator is not a tournament Hull. I gave many suggestions "DM (death matches) Polygon is a favorite, but there are many good ones, and with your equipement and supplies you will dominate every battle, just kill like crazy, close combat: Freeze or Firebird on your Viking, long range kill stealing Rail, Smoky, Rico or Thunder on your Titan." That's very true, the most skilled players have natural talent, they understand the dynamics of the game, are very obsevant, and make the right desisions in the game making them very effective. These players will succeed in any gaming platform they set their mind to mastering. Others will be mediocre at best no matter how much they play,I see Generalissimos who still can't turn their turrets out there.
  25. Say you are a gamer that has a sweet system, has been playing many multiplayer games, and has heard about StarLadder and is interested in getting involved in Tankionline. Don't tell me you can't master the game within 4 to 6 months of gameplay to a level suitable to start in tournament play. The use of DM games is the fastest way to rank in the shortest time, I also stated that it is very important to use hornet/rail and hone your skills as well, as that is the gold standard in Tankionline.
