My guide here is only to help new players to get to where the want to go quickly, if thier only interest in the game is to play within the Star Ladder tournament multi-player platform. This is a new era of Tankionline, most other games you can get right into tournament play by buying your needed specs to play. Tankionline is quite different in the aspect that you must kill 39000 tanks in order to have the rank to play in tournaments and you must acquire many upgrades in order to participate.

Well you are way behind the times, Leagues are NO MORE, all clans have moved to STARLADDER with 12 man squads, Clan pages in the forum are just for STARLADDER squads to keep forum members up to date on what they are up to. the other clans in forum that are not involved in STARLADDER are just social groups now. This is for new people who are active gamers from other games such as Dota2, League of Ledgends, CounterStrike Go, and Point Blank who have seen the new Tankionline platform, and are interested in getting into Tankionline and getting into STARLADDER as quickly as possible

New to Tankionline? Want to get involved in tournaments in STARLADDER, Then this is the place for you. It takes time to get the equipment and rank required to start playing in STARLADDER so follow these steps and you will be successful in reaching your goal in the shortest possible time. 1 - When you create your Tankionline account, pick your name wisely, it will be your calling card for your career. 2 - Become a buyer right away, you will need lots of crystals to get where you want to go. To get the most for your hard earned money, wait for a discount option like 50% off on crystals with paypal or creditcard and if you are very lucky, you will get Double Crystal Card the same day. Buying a huge amount of crystals by getting the largest package 150000+200000 for free will give you 1400000 crystals if you happen to be that lucky, or 700000 min with one or the other option. 3 - What to buy? Go for the kits right away, the turret kit is an excellent choice; It gives you an advantage of higher powered equipment against all others of your rank. Buy Hornet and Rail, you need to be very skilled with this combo to be a STAR in tournaments. Buy the heavy kit for dominating battles. Buy 1000 Supply package, and learn to use wisely as needed. Only noobs use 1,2,3,4 all the time. Unless you just want to ruin someones day. LOL And FINALLY, always buy the Score Multiplier Pass each month, and you will fly up the ranks. 4 – Where to battle? DM (death matches) Polygon is a favorite, but there are many good ones, and with your equipement and supplies you will dominate every battle, just kill like crazy, close combat: Freeze or Firebird on your Viking, long range kill stealing Rail, Smoky, Rico or Thunder on your Titan. There are many things that you can do, from basic things like removing all the saved tabs on your browser and clearing history, and clearing your cache, optimize your system for performance in settings, stop other programs from running updates while playing, reinstalling flashplayer, set AVS to gaming mode, also making sure all drivers are up to date and if you have a GPU with custom settings available set them up for performance, and play around with setting in game turn off automatic graphics quality and only check anti aliasing, add others as you can and see what you can play with on. and also make sure you are the only one on the router or modem using your internet connection, turn off any tablets or cellphones that may be connected. you can also check with your provider if you are getting the max available, very often if they get signal faults they reduce your speed from the max available, but they can reset it if you ask. There is also the great possibility that your system is infected with malware, trojans, worms, etc, many AVS miss these things and they can damage many key areas of your operating system and cause your system to perform poorly in which case you need to back up all your important files and do a clean install of your operating system Lets face it if these things don't help, you need a better system and/or a better internet provider

All computers have a graphics card of some sort under the heading of Display adapter in Device Manager, it might be a built in using shared ram, in that case look at increasing your ram on your system, it might help.

Try it first , also you can reduce the game viewing area even in full screen with the +/-to lower GPU strain

Additional reward required for THE GAME, for players who have all turrets/hulls/paints (really there are a lot of us guys out there), of their rank, what interest do we have to battle for the grand prize, maybe you could give the player the option to take the amount in crystals instead if he/she happens to be one of such players, even players with missing equipement may not want a shaft/ wasp fully upgraded and have no intention of using it.

Many players watch their D/L and only join battles where they know they can find cover a kill steal, they also go into battles and drug like crazy just to get a better rating, many only look at these as a factor when going into battle, if they flip they refresh the page, if the other team is stronger or targeting them they leave, often they have no concern over winning or losing the game as long as their D/l is great, and if they happen to be on the team that wins better for them as they just sat back and sniped and stole their teammates points, they even get friends to assist their game with isidas and mine their areas to maintain the D/L. There is a need in some battles for good long range players but with the changes in gameplay with the new physics make tanks faster, and are armoured lighter. Tactics are changing to a more agressive offence and all players have to have experience in both offensive and defensive roles to win the games and be able to meet the opponent head on using teamwork to out gun the opponent.

These are a few nice updates, but I would really like to see more focus on producing speciality formats like XP so unsportsmanlike players can't ruin every battle for players. I would also like to see more progress on the player assisted anti sabotage and mult problems that exist throughout the games as no automated system can be effective, and their aren't enough moderators to handle the volume of scum ``pardon my French`` that surf for games to ruin. Since their is no open chat to discuss options, I will add my two cents here on some possibilities: Add a feature similar to the up/down vote in forum, where players may get 5 yellow cards a day to tag these players in game only, you will very quickly see who the bad apples are and deal with them by blocking them from game play for varying amounts of times, longer and longer periods, they will soon stop or at least give the good players a break from them for a while. It will not remove them immediately but over time a trend can be seen on these players actions and personal attacks will not give false positives, after an extended period the bad apples will be clearly marked for action, guaranteed

Paints is an area that Tanki has totally ignored in all of their rebalancing of the game. It is also one area that is overlooked greatly by many players, many not even knowing what protections each paint have. This is even more important these days with access to garage within the game. Here is a great guide for paints http://en.tankiwiki.com/Paints learn them and it will help you greatly, also some turret combinations are very good now with the lack of certain paint protection combs such as combining thunder and smoky in battle, as there are no paints that protect well from both so your opponents have to choose between protection from one or the other.

M3 Rail specs are too high and/or M3 hornet damage too low, either way, M3 hornet is now getting killed with one shot with no paint way too frequently, almost more than M3 smokies old critical hit. it is destroying the game of XP pro with no drops

Digital "was a great paint even at M3 ranks but no more, as you may as well be wearing no paint on the new weaker hornet with this one against the new M3 rail, 2 shots and you are DEAD. only Prodigi has enough umph to take 3 shots to kill the M3 hornet.

My shot is better I was power clicking with my finger to get in to join blue and player left at the exact second red capped last flag and joined game just as both teams changed sides, and I got stuck on blue side but in server it showed me on red, so in sever it showed 4 on each side but in game it was 5 - 3 COOL GLITCH

Wow that's an old pic, 5 min left and no flags capped :P try some no supply ctf battles and see how it goes.

All of the changes in Tanki, making tanks faster and more manoeuvrable are geared towards faster gameplay and more aggressive action. even Shaft has bean modified to become affective on the fly. teams that sit back and don't attack in groups and wound incoming attackers before the reach your flag are always losing battles. any team that can make there opponent retreat to guard there own flag will most always win the battle and sacrificing your life to wound an attacker or a defender will make it easier for a team mate to be victorious in acquiring the flag.

you are a great defender, and you play an important role, possibly a little predictable, choosing a few locations to use will make it harder for enemy to get to you, it is important to move around. You have a killer shot and can take out a player anywhere on map. ;)
