Ahhh. Medical Kit has a HUGE impact on battles. It can make a huge difference! :P But fun game. GG. The stats on Thunder says 125 meters in Range. The damage output says 50-70, right? So does it mean at 125 meters away, the damage reaches 50? And at medium/close range it spikes up to 70? And any farther means hardly any damage?

@Loackie: I also see more Zeus paints after this paint sale. :o But yup. The presence of Dictator M3 is growing. Now we can see them on real servers, not just test. :D

Ahhhhh. I really want to MU, but I really want to save for Machine Gun/ Viking M3 or something. . . But maybe perhaps I could start a new account and use Machine Gun. .. . ? That could be a solution. I've always wanted to focus on Freeze, Ricochet, Shaft, and maybe Machine Gun. If I were to MU, should I MU my Thunder or Isida? I heard that an MU'd Thunder is amazing. . . I'm guessing MU the reload speed and damage output?

@ajitvik: Pretty good deal: Savannah and Emerald. It gives you big coverage to two threats: Smoky and Thunder. And they both give some extra Railgun protection that doesn't hurt. :D

Hey guys. I found something neat on the Wiki for this upcoming Micro-upgrades sale. http://en.tankiwiki.com/Micro-upgrades I was looking at the one for Isida. Do you think it's worth it to spend all my Crystals on the Reload? I think with my 80,000 I can max it out. . . From 10.71 -> 10.00, that sounds pretty nice. Or nah? But either way, this is going to be great for anyone who plans on MU'ing this sale. :P

You're going to MU it that much? :o Well good luck. Expensive. :P I'm keeping my Crystals for other things. If Machine Gun is infinite range, then I will make that my first priority M3. If not, then it's going to be either M3 Viking or Freeze M3 since they're only 1 rank away. Or lastly Railgun M3 or Wasp M3 since they are two ranks away and if I don't earn crystals fast enough for any sale(s).

@Pizzaslad: Double power will solve it.

In my opinion Firebird is better if you're a drugger. With double power, you'll be producing ultimate destruction. And with boosted speed and armor, you'll be massacring so many tanks, and I'm not talking about the map. And don't even get me started on a Health Kit. The Freeze is better for a Non-drugger in my opinion. You can deal good damage, circle opponents, and be a good defensive team player. You'll be important in securing your own base's flag in CTF mode, and hinder enemies to let others get away with the opponent's flag.

So when are HAMMER paints coming? I recently got one-shotted by an M3 Hammer on drugs. PS: I was using Viking M2. :P

@Denex: Well to be honest both Wasp/Isida and Hunter/Isida are pretty good combinations. So it depends on your gameplay. If you're a speed-a-holic and prefer to think "outside the box," and can effectively control Wasp's speed and light weight (unstableness), then sure. I mean, who needs to kill a Mammoth sitting on a flag when you can wait for an opening while staying alive, find a ramp to jump on top of him, steal the flag, and run like hell, right? All the while trying not to flip over and dodging enemy shots. Then maybe drop a Mine here, on top of that dude, and then dive for a 20 feet fall to land on my flag base thereby successfully capturing it! If that's your attitude and can control Wasp, then perhaps Wasp. It's a risky purchase that can break you, or make you great. It can ruin your garage, or it can make you pretty darn awesome. Make sure you can control the Wasp on Nitro too. Don't want you to go flying off the map. Haha. But Hunter is a relatively safe purchase. With good armor, more speed to differentiate it from other Medium hulls, and Isida to regenerate its health, it's a powerful force - especially on drugs. It fits naturally with a LOT of other turrets, unlike Wasp. And for Gold Boxes, being a Wasp you're going to have to avoid getting into the fray of the battle, and instead hide until the moment is right. Then try to get on top of everyone or simply go for it full speed. Being a Hunter you have more armor to withstand shots, and more pushing power than Wasp. That's why it's kind of tough for me to recommend Wasp to anyone. It's one of those guns that can make you or break you in my opinion. But agreed, Hornet/Isida is one of the most common ones. And there's a reason for that. It's pretty powerful being at 11 speed at M3, with 166 HP. @DAZIVETROSSIA: Are you sure you want to MU an m1 item? Don't you want to save crystals for M2's, M3's, Paints, and then MU your m3 items? And you do realize that only FULLY Micro-upgraded parameters will earn you any kind of discount on the next Modification, right? If you must MU something, then maybe wait until Ricochet or Smoky gets to M2, since their M3's unlock at the end-game ranks. I mean seriously, Ricochet M3 unlocks at Commander rank, the rank right before Generalissimo! The Hornet is an easy M2 since it's only 70k. @Loackie: You have Tundra already. You sure you want to go with Digital? Back when I was lower ranked, I persevered with Forester all the way until Digital, because I thought that the gap between Tundra and Digital was too small to be worth the crystals.

@TheKIllerPenguin: Where'd you find it anyway? :o But I hope this thing will have infinite range. If it does, then it's a MUST BUY for me. If not, I'll stick with my Thunder. I mean, the V-Log did say it's for handling enemies before they get to you. . So I'm assuming it's going to surpass Twins/Ricochet, and either be at Thunder's range or more. . . .So . . .. Infinite Range? I hope. :P And I was thinking TheKillerPenguin. maybe they did not release it back then because they couldn't make it have Gyro Effect back then? Without Gyro effect, it would kind of be like Twins except it can heat up . . . And maybe they didn't have Shaft yet. They wanted a Sniper gun?

I bought M2 Viking today and I have to say I underestimated Viking sooooo much! The speed is great, the armor is decent, (at least better than Wasp), and I feel good with more Power! :D It's good with Thunder-friendly and Isida-friendly. I used Isida in Serpuhov and it was fun and great! :D Definitely worth it. I think before there was a 60% discount on Viking or something? I regret not buying it then. Now I'll save my 80,000 crystals for future things like Viking M3 or something. :D

Well thanks all. So what I've bought at this Christmas is Viking M2 and Thunder M3. And I've got to say, I totally underestimated Viking M2. It's amazing! Kind of good thing I did not choose Hornet, since the 166 HP is not enough. . . .And I was too used to Wasp. I'm going to choose not to buy Emerald paint. The thing is, Railguns annoy me much more, especially when they drug. Without Railgun paint, those guys are going to OHKO me. Besides, I already know the Thunder-mentality and can verse against other Thunders quite comfortably already. Which leaves me with 84,000 crystals. If anything, Ricochet is the biggest threat to me with Viking's larger size and Ricochet's damage. But I'm not going to "downgrade" in paints to use Spark. ..Closest thing is Hohloma with 20% Ricochet protection, but whatever. Railgun paint is most important. And I can save up for things like if perhaps I'd like to go with Machine Gun. In which I can earn more crystals and perhaps get it to M3 on a big sale. If Machine Gun happens to have infinite range, then it's a MUST-HAVE gun for me. Or I can automatically M3 my Viking once I rank up. The only possible thing that would've made me even happier would be M3'ing my Freeze. The Freeze/Viking combination is absolutely perfect for maps like Noise, Silence, and the like. However, I guess M2 Freeze is still viable. :D Especially with all those nasty Druggers around. So 84,000 crystals left. I'm planning on saving them for Machine Gun or M3 Viking, but do you think it is better off spent on MU'ing? It's 50% off on the initial MU price, and an 80% off on Speed-ups. Thoughts? @DAZIVETROSSIA: That downvote was accidental. I'd suggest Viking. But if you play in big maps all the time and want to still stick with speed, then Hornet. You have 1 light hull and 2 heavy hulls. A Medium Hull can let you break new grounds. Make sure to not spend too much on M1's. You're going to need M2's in the future to keep up with others.

But after Emerald I will have 0 crystals left. o_o Think I'll be able to make Viking M3? Also, how dangerous are Railguns to Viking without Railgun paint? And it's ok. No need for Thunder M3(4) gameplay. Only if you want. :P

I'm going with Viking M2 instead of Hornet M3. :D That leaves me with around 79,000 crystals. If I get Emerald, that would leave me with no crystals left. Should I get Emerald, or stay as Thunder M3/ Viking M2/ Digital? Now that I think about it, Railguns are also a very big problem for me. On drugs, they can OHKO me. Without drugs, it's still a huge chunk of damage. And with the 80,000 crystals, I can save for something else. . . . Sounds like Emerald isn't really worth getting, right? Or am I wrong?

My biggest problem with my new Thunder M3 is not paints, but drugs. It acts more like a good support weapon in my opinion. But on drugs, it's a crazy killer! :D

Well. . . ....I bought Thunder M3. . . .You know, figured I might as well go M3. . . ... .. . . And it's actually a really wonderful gun! :D Loved using it! However, should I go with Viking M2 or Hornet M3? Hornet M3 -> No Paint available. Viking M2 -> I can get Emerald Paint. Which option will keep me going in the long run? See, Hornet seems like a decent choice. However, it has only 166 HP. . . .And if I get M3, I have no crystals for any upgrading or paints. Is it enough, or is Viking M2/Emerald a better choice for the higher ranks? Other turrets: Isida M3, Railgun M2, Freeze M2, Firebird M2, Smoky M2 Other hulls: Wasp M2, Mammoth M2 Maps: Silence, Bobruisk, Serpuhov, Noise ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @Denex: Wasp/Smoky is the only combination with Wasp that I have trouble using. . . ..I don't know why, but I can't seem to get the hang of that ONE single combo. :( So if you were to ask me, I'd point you with Hornet/Smoky. Lol but yeah seriously. I can use Ricochet/Wasp, Thunder/Wasp, Rail/Wasp, Isida/Wasp, Firebird/Wasp, every Wasp except Smoky. . .

Paints matter a lot. :mellow: Try using Wasp without Railgun paint.
