Not always. The whole point of DM is kill stealing. You could use Twins (which has high DPM) and drain 99% of another player. But if some other player finishes off the 1%, he gets the point for the kill. I'm not saying Twins is bad in DM; Twins in DM is one the deadliest because you win the majority of 1 v 1 situations. But do realize that in DM, DPM isn't as important of a factor as kill stealing. First of all - you have Twins/Titan M2 at Warrant Officer 4. Obviously OP, but moreover, Twins is considered strong in pretty much all modifications except for M0. Saying Twins is strong just because of its DPM isn't very true. Twins does have a high DPM (the statistics say so), but this isn't the sole reason why Twins is good. At M3, Rico matches the firepower of Twins, but according to your logic and "statistics", Twins is significantly bette than Rico.. I'm not trying to say your statistics are wrong or incorrect. Whether your data is wrong or not, some of your arguments are flawed. For example, you say that Twins is a lot better than Rico. Most of your arguments are solely based on DPM; I understand there are tons of factors to consider, but saying "Twins is the best gun because of DPM" is very narrow minded. Alright, listen up. I use that thread all the time to help others, and you obviously have no idea what you're saying. The point of that thread is not to argue which turret or hull is the best. If someone gives me a list of turrets and asks me which one they should save for, I give them an answer based mostly on my personal experience and observation. Why? Because this is what actually matters. Numbers are good to have, but many times they don't provide reliable support when suggesting turrets to others.

MUing a M1 turret "a little bit" is imo pointless. If you're gonna MU, might as well go all the way (but this is only if you're rich). I came across this WO2 with Smoky M1 full MU, and he had an overall D/L of 6 somethin and he was destroying the battle with his Smoky

Fighter, then get Titan or Mammoth M1. Titan M1 cheap, Mammoth M1 even cheaper but its speed + maneuverability is horrible (There's a reason why it's only 3k). There aren't really any "Heavy M1 kits" (combos that are good for high D/Ls). I guess the Smoky/Titan M1 (Bodyguard) counts as Heavy, although Smoky/TItan M1 is cheap enough (and Smoky M1 is only good for a "starter M1").

Go for Atlas. But you're staff, you could M2 your Titan M1 if you really wanted to. But if crystals aren't a problem, product kits > MU, especially since the MU system is different now

If you want Isida M3, get it in Medic. I would only recommend Ant if you like Isida + light hull; e.g. if you want speed and prefer to get Hornet M3 over Viking M3. But Isida/Viking is definitely more common now; also remember that Iron Days (Feb 20, -25%) might discount product kits, although Ant will be out of rotation by then

Iron days has been -25% for the past 2 years (Feb 20). If you use Thunder, Thunder prot is essentially a must. Thus, I recommend Emerald. Get Irbis if you plan on using Fire/Vik, but I would go for Emerald if I were you. Ditch any paints under Brigadier

Yes, save for M2, like what TG said Although you could buy Twins M1 and maybe Thunder M1, but I recommend to save for a M2. Isida M2 would be a good start, you seem to use it a good amount. After that you can get Fire M2 and maybe Dictator M2.
